Willing to be willing and aware glasses firmly in place. Smiling and looking forward to party this afternoon celebrating my oldest niece’s 50th birthday. 23 members of family and friends will have a wonderful dinner. It will be easily tracked. Smiling and moving forward toward blue.

Ann Hope your day has had low key afternoon like you wanted. It's good to be able to decompress. Did you dodge the rain?
Susi 🙁 Sorry that the weather put a damper on your relatives' outing at your workplace. Glad that Mj's crew can anticipate better weather tomorrow.
Thx, I keep telling myself that it will all work out and try to gather what information I can. I am whittling away at doing what I can do. Today held another few dramatic moments intermixed w/ some wait time. I put that nervous energy to work by walking inside a building as I waited.
Audrey Thx for the plot outline. Will have to remember that title. Am wondering why I started the second book by Tim Dorsey. I guess I have some interest in an insider's view of Fla.. Am trying to decide whether or not reading a frenetic, hyperbolic crime book is the distraction I need.

Pam Those occasions are special. How wonderful that all of you could mark her milestone birthday. Enjoy! Loving your confident approach-- managing weight is much easier when an "I got this" attitude and planning are in place.

Pam enjoy the bday celebration. June we did get rain. It poured for about an hour, complete with black sky and rolling thunder. Luckily we didn't lose power. I did hear sirens go by, so hopefully there were no accidents involved. Now it's bright sunny no rain but VERY humid. I shall spend the rest of the day indoors. I have been house walking and drinking extra water. Hopefully I'll get some of the .7 that Olive Garden added to me from my lunch out yesterday.

Cathy Congrats on being 4 lbs away from onderland. You have this.
MJ I am also glad that today isn't the day you had plans.Enjoy tomorrow.I am so glad you got a clean bill of health.
June You are so right about not wasting as much food.I did do my normal 30 min on the recumbent bike.I messed up yesterday by doing two 30 minute rounds and my knees were unhappy last night.I am getting most of my steps house walking.I hope today is better than Monday was.
Ann I'm glad you slept well.I don't want your high winds but we sure will take your rain. Most of Central TX are under burn bans already because it's so dry and hot.It is 100 right now.
Susi Yes that is the only reason I food shop so often. It's a good thing DH doesn't eat many veggies because there would be no room.We had to buy this smaller fridge because several years ago our side by side went out during a bad storm and this was the only one they had in the store. All our food was already spoiled.I am sure you had a good WI.I hope your niece and crew made it home safely.
Pam That's a big party.Enjoy.
June Walking things out seems to help me some.I hope it does for you also.(((Hugs))).
Ann I have been joining you in hydrating and house walking.

Ann The water cure should kick in soon and then that .7 uptick will vanish. Not sure which is worse driving rain or hot, humid weather.
walking did help
Becky Bet yiu are like me and miss the older refrigerator units that held more produce.

We had very strange weather. It's still raining out there...but not as bad as it was. Luckily we didn't lose power! Tomorrow it's going to rain, but not all day. Hopefully they are right. Becky I'll gladly send you some rain. Trouble is, that today it just got more humid each and every time it stopped! It's like a sauna out there now, and it's already almost 8:30! June I did a lot of house walking! I read my kindle as I walked to pass the time away. I have over 13,000 steps Well, time to read a bit. Sleep well, all!
