TGIF... IT's going to be a long one - but - no alarm in the morning!! (Except Zoë! LOL) She's usually a pretty good sleeper - so I am confident I won't be up at 5 AM!
I have quite a lot "on my plate" today - and a "ATM Meeting" thrown in for good measure! LOL They are upgrading - and testing my remote ATMs and switching out an old for a new - later this month - so I guess I need to be in the loop about it all! It's all good - it's Friday and I have a jump on what I want to get done today! Can't believe the week has gone by so quickly - and not as stressful as usual!
After work I HAVE to run errands - finish up my raffle basket for the picnic tomorrow... and hope to have time for a quick manicure - before grabbing supper for Zoë, and picking her up after swim lessons. It will all work out - with or without the manicure!
We had more storms last night - but today is hopefully the day that they clear out and bring us nice weather for the weekend!
Going to refill my coffee - be right back ♥

Think 1st Thursday went well! I focused on my water and got to the 100 oz mark! WHEW! BEEN A WHILE!! Ended up with lean boneless pork chop for dinner - instead of steak - no biggie... and it was healthy - and yummy - and ready when I got home from work! LOL
Goals for Thursday: 100 oz of water/liquid ✔️ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ✔️ No flour ✔️ Journal ❌ No eating after 7 PM! ✔️
Goals for Today: 100 oz of water/liquid 5 F/V No sugar No flour Journal No eating after 7 PM!
OK Let's catch up...

Sue: YAY for corn night behind you once again!! Glad the boys like helping too! Oh nice - that Hanna can head to TX with Shea for a day or two - and leave the boys home! Yeah - it will take a while, but yes Jaclyn is determined to make a relationship with her father!! She and her brother Shawn have pretty much the same expectations... and eventually they will all be a family. Who knows they may be better family then if they had all grown up together... looking at Ken's own family - that didn't work so well for his siblings! Like I said - I am waiting to be told what is expected"... and I don't see our family holidays being turned upside down any time soon - but whatever comes of it all - comes...
Wish we all had a Jason - to give us the freshest fruits and veggies! LOL That's what I like about the local farm stands... I know it has been picked and then put in the stand - no transporting (except from the fields)...
Shelly: AW MAN!! I thought your help was all lined up and looking good! Sorry for the sickness' that was going around... hope today is a better day for you {{{hugs}}}
Well heck NO - No one would want to walk after being at work 13 hours! OY VEY!! I bet you got steps in during your long day though!! Oh - and FYI... you ARE doing good! You are walking when you can... better than I am ding! I walk when I have to!! Like from the car to the office and back again!
I do enjoy my standing desk - for the most part... but these swollen ankles and feet - where they actually swell up AROUND the straps of my shoes... is NOT "good"... Yesterday I was going to wear my compression stockings and shoes - but I couldn't wear the shoes... could NOT have my swollen feet in shoes with no room to wiggle my toes!! At this rate I will be wearing boots to work and wearing sandals when I get there! I am pretty pathetic right now!
Yes - I have a call into my Dr., but have requested HER - so it may take a few days to get an appointment - but while it is uncomfortable - it is not an emergency - so I will wait for her to be available!
Hope you slept well ♥

OK - TGIF.... Need to get moving here so I can throw a salad together for my lunch. I never even thought to do it last night! UGH! No worries all veggies are chopped - just need to throw it all together!
B: Coffee S: Protein Bar & hot tea L: Salad w/ chicken 7 HB Egg S: Peach D: TBD... but most likely something quick from McDs, when I grab Zoë her chicken nuggets and fries!
I want her to eat on the ride home after swimming. Waiting until we get here - it will be around 7:30 PM and that's too late to make her a hot dog or mac & cheese... so McDs it is - in the car...
Last quiet day at work for a while... so will enjoy it - even if it means the "extra" work! LOL
Tomorrow should be easy to eat "right", caterer serves chicken - pork - salad... along with other good stuff, but I can manage to eat right - IF I FOCUS! LOL
OK - enjoy your TGIF Ladies... hoping our Lisa is having the time of her life in TN! ♥

TGIF - and here's a Hooray for Pay Day! Slept in a little bit today - have the day OFF from work! Today is our annual trip to Lily Dale, NY to visit a Medium and just soak up the Peace and Grace of the little community. I sure need it! DSIL, DN, Lindsey and I are going this time. Carly does not want to go - she said everything is 'fine' in her life and she can't justify the cost. Eye roll here - I tried to get her to join us for the giggles and fun of being together but then DSIL changed things up, almost caused a fight among us (Linds and I refused to rise to her bait) to the point we are driving separate - it will still be fun. Linds and I booked separate private readings weeks ago - DSIL and DN decided to save money and booked a reading together (hmm? interesting) but insisted on an afternoon reading compared to our arranged morning readings. Then at last minute, DSIL announced she didn't want to wait around in the morning while Lindsey and I had readings, she insisted we change ours to Afternoon. Well, we honestly couldn't. Our mediums had no afternoon openings, and with such late notice, most others were booked. DSIL suggested we just wander and check "open appointment' lists outside each Medium's cottage and try our luck - umm, noo...but we suggested SHE can do that in the morning but that didn't go over well - so we all agreed to meet for the afternoon assembly's Group reading. Linds and I don't mind waiting for them during their reading (30 min) then we will follow each other to a Winery or return to Erie Brewery and share our results over drinks and food. It's about an hour and half away and a nice drive. If we go to the Erie Brewery Carly might meet us there - but with the 'drama' of DSIL she opted out all together LOL Can't blame her. I honestly think my DSIL has such high Anxiety she 'panics' and changes plans at last minute to ease HER anxiety - she kept saying, "there's nothing for me to do while you are in a morning reading!" but there is plenty to do! Like sit, relax, think, feel the Peace...I don't think she gets it.

Happy Friday Carole, Christine and all to come...I'm so ready for the weekend! Aside from dinner & movie night on Sunday finally we have nothing planned....I need to get some things prepped and planned for the week ahead...make some HB eggs and salad stuff ready to go.
Hoping for a reasonably quiet day today at work....still waiting for the billers to finish up for July so I can get my reports printed and start on all my spreadsheets....thankfully I had a little bit of "coverage" for people this week to fill the day, sometimes I had nothing to do and had to wait for something to pop in my inbox....didn't happen much, but I'm not used to that!
I thawed some shrimp so will make that tonight as a change....had ham & green beans and lean pork chops all week. Today I have a sub from Sarah's neighbor's fund-raiser....always like to support Mason and all his therapy!
See you all after work....will be able to finish catching up between tonight and tomorrow morning! Time to load my lunch box and get this day started.

Good morning!
Missed yesterday due to a super-early exit in the morning for Track Thursday. Our Coach has been in Germany (celebrating his mom's 80th) with his family so it was good to see him again. Got home late last night because I went to a Cabi party at 6:00 pm (straight from work). Have any of you ever gone to one? It is clothing? The clothes are kind of expensive (to me) but it was a fun group and the woman running it (sales) was very stylish and welcomed questions. A fun evening! SO glad it is Friday, but it is our LAST weekend with DS19 at home for a while..... Got the "glucose monitor" put on my arm on Wednesday and now I am kind of angry about it. It really does kind of hurt ALL of the time. It feels like someone is constantly pinching your arm HARD. It has a "pin" (like a thumbtack) and sticks in your arm and there is a "little" wire under the surface of your skin. I gotta tell you....I actually get a bit nauseous every once in a while due to the constant pain. This better be worth it---that doctor is kind of OCD (doing this for one-time non-fasting blood sugar of 100??) and I am NOT open to being a guinea pig. Ughh. Then I think of Christine and I clam up---nope, need to move through this.
Carole: Oh, I hope that Tracy can get answers from the bank quickly. Wouldn't it be great if no offers came from the Open House and she could feel like she could get a "deal" by negotiating a smaller price? Exciting! Yes, sounds like she is already planning/thinking about it. LOL about all of her stuff. I am a firm believer---no matter how big of a place anyone gets, we can always fill it up! So DS19 will attend Lane Community College for 2 years and then transfer to U of O. There is agreement between the schools that his 2 years at Lane count as two years at U of O so he will only have two years at U of O (if he goes that route). It makes a lot of sense monetarily AND, after 2 years at Lane, he can establish residency in OR which saves a ton of $ going to U of O. So, it's the current plan! Yikes about your swelling....maybe see someone else while waiting to see the doctor? It just sounds like it should be attended to.... OMG, 33 years old, pregnant AND shingles? Yikes!!! Hope that today is a good Friday for you.

Sue: Oh yes, the famous Moul Corn Husking event! It's go great to hear how, over the years, the boys get more and more "helpful" with it! You are so organized too though. Nice that the neighbor has boys the same age as Hannah's! Sounds like the perfect situation and it will be over before they know it. How is your mom doing? I know that the date for all of you to get together is looming in the future....hope that you have a good day today--good job sticking with OP eating AND living and enjoying treats now and then (as we all should)!
Christine: Oh, sorry to hear about that tired feeling! Hope that you enjoy time with the nurse. Isn't it nice to be able to support someone and help them "spread their wings"? Oh wow, the Medium trip sounds so interesting!! I look forward to hearing what you all find out. I just love the name of the town in NY. What a fun plan. I need to get DS19 to sell some things....he could make a fortune. Linds is much more resourceful though So glad that you got that contract job!! Hope that this is a sign for you.
Shelly: Uggh....I had hoped that the employee issues would diminish for a while. Sorry about that. Hope that you find yourself feeling better now.
Hello to all who follow. Gotta go--meeting a friend at 7:00 am before heading to the office--have a good day!

Evening plans are changing...bunch of errands to run now! Will likely see you all in the morning! Jason has to work so it will just be me with no distractions so I can visit while enjoying my coffee!
Hope all have a great rest of the day and evening. Looking forward to getting out of here soon! My brain has gone to mush!
