Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Dottie- we got some rain yesterday too, and a pretty loud thunderstorm. Didn’t last too long, but it got so dark so fast. We need the rain too.
Ruth - hope all is going well with the construction.
They offered the job to the girl, now they need to schedule her drug test. Hopefully everything goes well.
Didn’t get as much done yesterday as I planned, so lots of running around today. It’s nice and cool, so opening windows to let the fresh air in.
In the mood for pancakes today so I’m going out for breakfast.
I’ll stop back later.

Good morning ladies. Up again at 6:30!! Ugh!! I may sleep for a week when this is finished! Sorry I didn’t get on yesterday. We had Mara, I was only functioning on half power yesterday since I only got 3 hrs sleep the night before. Insomnia, got up to read, went to bed at 3:30, alarm at 6:30! Yesterday was one of the most frustrating days!!! Said the carpenters would definitely be here at 7:30! At 10:10 I sent him an email and asked where they were. Got a reply back that they had gotten hung up on another job and wouldn’t be here at all!!! And 10 minutes later got an email that the toilets weren’t in yet so they weren’t coming yesterday either! The young guy who is the scheduler has a LOT to learn about communication and being an effective go-between for the workers and the homeowners!! That shall be in my report to them!!! Had my massage yesterday afternoon which was wonderful.
Late yesterday I got an email saying the workmen (carpenters) would be here at 7:30 this morning. Low and behold they are! With a compressor they are using to run their saws! I may have to leave for a while to get away from the noise! And the email also said the toilets WILL be installed this afternoon! Not sure where they found some, but sure glad they did!
Joy, fingers crossed this new gal will get hired and be just what the office needs!!! And maybe become a friend! You are enjoying going out with colleagues and that is great to have friends there.
Dottie, enjoy your weekend with the grandkids. Legos are always a hit with kids aren’t they? Can they go to the neighbor’s pool with you too?
Ok, going to get some chores done while they are here. And maybe run to a few garage sales, just to get away from the noise! DH & Maggie are out for a run to enjoy the 50’s and sunshine and low humidity!!!
All have a great day. Will check in later!!!

Joyce, hope everything falls into place with bringing the new girl on board. It was cooler here this morning and it felt good to open up and get some nice fresh air. Hope you enjoyed the pancakes.
Ruth, sorry to hear about the messed up schedule yesterday. I wish people would realize the importance of letting the customer know when they are going to be running late or can’t make it. I hate waiting for delivery or construction people. Will Monday be the final day and walk-thru? We do plan on heading up to our neighbors house for a swim this afternoon.
I went out and did some last minute shopping this morning. When I got home I put the car seats in the SUV. We plan on going by the lake to drop some things off this afternoon on the way to meet DDIL. We go by the exit – although the lake house is 15 minutes from the exit, it will just make tomorrow easier if we don’t have to bring so much stuff.
