On the road again. We have to check out by 10 but will stop in Paso Robles to pick up 6 bottles of hand made Italian wine from Giornatta. Not expecting a perfect day but I will have water in the car. Lots to do when we get home so plenty of steps. When I was in Morro Bay yesterday I saw three women I knew from Fresno we were in a club together 35 years ago and were happy to agree none of us had changed πI found a birthday gift for a girlfriend, princess game for Nora and drink coasters cute but made of plastic so the grandchildren canβt break them.

Went to the basement to do something using the printer (after 9 or more months not using the computer in the basement) and the printer was illegible...ink too thick or perhaps cartridges expired and the computer started to download updates...that took into the wee hours of the morning and I eventually went to bed at 3am. It finished downloading while I slept and this morning it asked to be restarted to install. I will go down when I finish to see if it is done update. I had a healthy food day, got in walking and added some arm weight exercises in hopes my sore shoulder will loosen up or strengthen or something. Did not make it to the grocery store...maybe today?
Today I will think before eating, track and have a good day
MOCKTAIL RECIPES: Got curious...here are some url's to look through. Might try some of these instead of wine in the evening...
AUDREY: Hope you have a safe trip home. It sounds like a lovely vacation! I am a one finger at a time phone typist...much prefer a keyboard that is BIGGER! Rob sounds like a special man and father!
MJ: Hooray for "almost normal"
ANN: We are still drowning in figs but happily they are slowing down. Hubby has a LOT drying and says he will make those dry ones into jam for himself without any sugar. I am hopeful this year they won't spoil. Glad you enjoyed the time spent with friends.
BEE: Your description of the birds in the morning was divine...sounds so peaceful. What is a mosquito hawk?
SUSI: Your garden produce sounds yummy! Hubby made some of the 2kg of green beans he bought...still have at least half to make today along with some eggplants. I can see why you might skip the pizza knowing you had a gathering with food the next day.
LADONNA: I finished two books yesterday. One was by Melissa Foster - friends to lovers trope and the other was about a child who died, the mother who fought to donate the organs and the family of the child who received her husband's heart - it was good but I finished at 3am (due to the updating computer) and will be tired today. Today I have more in an anthology or a choice of two books to read...not sure what Thirteen is about and the other is a murder mystery with a detective raised LDS working in the LDS community so there are some history of their church type issues that pop up here and there in the books.
JUNE: Mocktail recipe links above
PAM: Hooray for family time and making memories!
BECKY: I am glad it has been cooling down at night so we can open the windows and sleep under light blankets with the fan blowing. I had a friend in Houston who had to have AC on summer and winter due to humidity. Stay cool!

Ann, thx, for getting us underway. Exactly! Dance the dance that you know works.
Cathy Thx for the recipes. I will definitely look at them. Let us know if you try any. Kudos on yesterday's OP day! Hope that your shoulder is less cranky today. Glad that you could get your printer situation in hand. Did you have new cartridges on hand? Does LDS mean Latter-Day Saints, which is linked to Mormonism? My college mentor and dear friend studied our local connection to Joseph Smith and Mormon missionary work to the U.K. Her interest stemmed from growing up in the farmhouse from which Smith was physically removed by an angry mob.

Okey dokey Think that I can go back to bed and see if I can sleep. May not since 4 am is within a normal sleeping range for me. Will try though! Tomorrow I will not drink a glass of milk before bed . . .

Good morning Ann, Audrey, Cathy, June and all who follow. Will aim for personals later but I got a few sips of coffee in and am ready to walk Charlie to feed the ferals before spin. I switched Charlie from a choker to a harness and I can already see a difference by the end of a walk. We still have some struggles but what an improvement!

Good morning. Got a great night sleep. The temps dropped down to 61 and let me tell you, that felt heavenly We also didn't get any rain to steam things up like it sometimes does. Audrey I had to smile while reading your post. Now I have 'on the road again' playing in my head Safe travels! Cathy hopefully the computer issue will resolve itself. Lots of times my printer 'acts up' as I don't use it all the time. Wish I lived closer to enjoy some of those figs June hopefully you were able to sleep. Have you ever tried the sleep time teas? I think they are put out by Yogi and Celestial. I was always under the impression that warm milk before bedtime helped with sleeping. I am not a milk drinker so that would not work for me. Tylenol PM pills are also good to take. Susi enjoy your walk and spin. We tried the harness with LuLa...two different types and she manages to wiggle her way out of them. We also call her Huidini among 'other names' LOL. I will plan, track, journal move and hydrate today. No other plans but those at the moment. Will CBL

Stepped on the scale and remained the same. Sometimes no change is a good change I'll take that as a gift and move on......

DivaTaxi ended up being off-duty yesterday; Son#1's workgroup has an additional monthly WFH day and yesterday was it. But LA-F and MHSS were still on schedule. And I forgot my kindle on the way out the door.
Today's going to be wild. WW workshop at 8 AM. KSMB at noon (the B is for "brunch" now). DayJob "Reunion Picnic" runs from 1 to 5 PM and we'll stop by briefly on our way to The Plantation for a 5 PM squidSitting session (we'll need to stop at either ShopRite or Wegmans to pick up supplies for our Movable Feast). There's a small window of free time in the morning and we'll be selective about what we put in there, LOL.
Today is also Toots' 69th birthday; I let him sleep late (6:30 AM).
We were at the MousekeHouse until 6 PM last night although we did come back here mid-day for a couple of hours. I think it's time to discuss the plan for the upcoming school year (we go back on the Wednesday after Labor Day).
Coffee... βββ... breakfast... got to get movin'... BBL...
πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ

Lol MJ be very selective with what you put in your free time. We need to examine MHMR (MousekeHouse Morning Routine) to see what may change, now that MousekeTWO is entering kindergarten at the same school as the Mouseketeer. Last year I did all 5 mornings and the afternoon pickups were M&F-me and TuWedThu-GrammyWags. That can work for one more year, until GrammyWags' DGD starts kindergarten in a different school in the same system. Toots reminds me that KSMB is at noon, not 12:30. Must get to ShopRite and the liquor store and get on the road.

Coffee, walk and a healthy breakfast done. Read some in Kindle book. Now to do a few chores/errands and my church clerical. Fri evening I ended up going with Laken to a friend's house on the lake. We had a few drinks and laughed. Got home very late but we had fun. Randy and his friends are having a work day at the hunting club today to get ready for the big day next week. August 15 deer season will come in and I'll be a hunter's widow from time to time Audrey, safe travels. how fun to run into old friends I was always so embarrassed to run into old friends prior to my WL. Most of them had gained weight too but occasionally I'd run into one that still had their high school physique. Cathy, sorry about your printer issues. My printer is turned off and has no ink. If i have something to print I usually just use the printer at the office and pay the small fee for personal use. June, were you able to go back to sleep? I hope so. I know how worry can keep you up HUGS Susi, I can see how the harness would be more support . glad that worked out. Ann, oh my that temp does sound divine! glad you had good time with your friends yesterday. MJ, adding happy birthday wishes for Toots waving to the rest of the crew...will cbl to see what the rest of the gang is up to

Thx again for putting a smile in my heart as I read what's new and what's on your plates. (Bad pun intended)
Mj Lots for you & Toots to do today, so that 6:30 AM wake up call was a nice gift for our birthday boy. HAppy birthday, Toots! Enjoy your gatherings through the day. Hope the taxi plans get ironed out and yiu are happy w/ the game plan.
Ann Yipeeeeee-- yes take that maintainand bank it! Super! Plz come do my chores. My morning was hijacked by some conversations that were overdue. Downside is that my house is trashed b/c I started to rearrange my study. Ugh!
LaDonna Love, love, love that you have such a warm and comfortable relationship w/ your DD & her friends. ARe you like me? I am happy that R spends about 98% of his time just being outside. He only harvests two deer a year and we share the meat w/ others. .
