Good morning!
Thanks Sue for starting us off for the day....I am SO glad to be here in my house at 6:00 am and planning out a day AT HOME (okay, minus my WW workshop and grocery shopping). I have been feeling so behind. I notice that, if I feel things are not done and organized around here, it is much harder to motivate myself to plan meals well, etc. So, today is an organizing day. Slowly chipping away at the list for DS19....he is going to meet me at TJ Maxx tomorrow after work to pick up a couple of pans, some utensils for the kitchen, etc. He doesn't need a lot.
Sue: Oh, I love the boy-band name! The Mill3r Boys??? So clever! I need to see if you posted their performance on FB when I am done. Yes, it is great that the boys see Jason and his efforts with the garden all the way through the harvest, prep, etc. You two have done such a nice job with the girls and the grandsons in terms of sharing traditions...heartwarming to hear! Sounds like a nice calm day for you too? Hope that the weather stays glorious for you! Oh, by the way, "Cabi" is a clothing line. I had never heard of it before the party but the ladies there were big fans. The clothes really were cute, but the woman you presents it all, and then trying clothes on with a bunch of supportive women to tell you what they think was actually the highlight of it all. A fun evening.
Carole: Such a fun-sounding event that you put on for the bank! I loved the pic of the girls with their face painting! Like Sue, I am also looking forward to hearing if Tracy makes an offer...she surely sounds interested in that place if she drove by to see the "crowd" at the Open House....you are SO smart to let her do the deciding. It is a HUGE decision...especially on one income--I can see why it is a tough one. Hope that you got a good night's sleep and felt good about how the bank event went.
Christine: Hope that you had a nice, calm morning. Loved on FB the picture from years past of the other color run! Nice that DD still depends on you . Looking forward to hearing what is on the agenda for you on this lovely Sunday!

Lisa: I haven't checked FB, but I can't imagine that you would have had time to already post....so, how did it all go??? So excited for you and to hear about the big event!
Jenny: So busy for you this weekend!! Uggh, about Kerry's truck! Glad that the parts are available though. Did you make it to WW yesterday? I am planning to go today.
Shelly: How are the employees working out? Everyone "healthy"? I hope that they are for your own health's sake!
Okay, need to get my organization extravaganza started here....cleaning out the fridge is top of the agenda. Hope that you all have a good day. Having DM (and hopefully DS25 and his GF--they arrived from Boston yesterday) for dinner--the last one before driving DS19 to Eugene. See you all later!

Good morning - Sue, Thanks for starting us off this morning - I am having a pretty lazy start to my day here!
Such a long day yesterday - but a good day overall... everyone that attended seemed to have a good time - so MUCH for everyone... some lingered - with the DJ until The.Very.End.! I got home and hit the hot tub and crashed!!
Girls had fun... glad they went home after! LOL
Today is a "catch up" day here... laundry - dishes - prep for the week ahead... maybe some time outside in the sun? I hope so - it's COLD here... only 66 but was in the high 40s early this morning! UGH! IT is slowly rising to upper 70s so some time outside will be welcome! Might even try to dig out more rocks to help level the front yard more... we'll see.
Meanwhile I will enjoy one more cup of coffee and catch up with you all ♥

Jenny: Oh Boy... sounds like a busy day yesterday - hope DH got all the parts he needed... so he can fix the truck himself??
Sue: LOL Well yesterday my water DROPPED (Again)M so will work to focus on that today! Picnic choices were OK, and I did have plenty of salad/veggies... had some of the other stuff too - but not much! Mostly I got my STEPS in... OY VEY... my feet and legs were tired when I got home!!
Yeah - she is still thinking it through - she wants to make an offer, but still unsure... I told her yesterday to give it until the middle of this week. See if after a not so good Open House they may drop the price... we'll see.
We still had a LOT of food go in the dumpster... such a shame, but ya can only bring so much home! It will go bad before we could/would eat it all! I did grab the rest of the garden salad - not sure how long it will stay good - but I can make it work for a few days!
Well it may be a cold - remember they say you CAN "get" allergies as you get older... a gal I work with never had them, but she does now - and she is 61! But glad you are feeling better.
LOL Glad the boys had a quiet place for each to "go" to chill out a bit... that's what I do to - not really a "time out" but some quiet time is good for all of us once in a while!

Gabrielle: YAY for a day at home! You will need it - to get organized for your trip North this weekend! Enjoy {{{hugs}}}
OH YAY for a family dinner today! How fun - and I know DS19 will appreciate it ♥
Saw photos on FB of Lisa - beautiful dress - looks like a beautiful wedding... wonder when she heads back home?
OK Been lazy enough here today - must get moving... it is now warmer outside than inside so will maybe take my last cup of coffee outside to enjoy in the sun!
Might CBL - not sure what turn the day will take... I do know we have to uncover the pool and see what needs to be done there... not sure if anyone will come up to swim today - but I want it ready if anyone does!
Enjoy the day my friends ♥hugs♥

Morning all...got the dishwasher emptied and refilled and washed up the few dishes that don't fit or need to be hand washed! Relaxed a bit with my coffee and breakfast was just getting ready to make the quick pickles when Jason came home and wanted to get a few things portioned out for the freezer so I will do those when he's done. Will do my HB eggs too when he's out of my way! LOL! Will be leaving about 4:45 pm to drop the van off at the garage to be inspected tomorrow and then dinner and the movie at 6:45 pm. Can't wait to see it!
Gabrielle.....hopefully today you can get yourself back into a good groove of organizing...you are right, when there are lots of little things that are not don't it's hard to "just get started".... LOL, I'm sure Max won't be living in the kitchen creating masterpiece worthy of Food Network....just the basics to get him by for now! I know our TJ's has a great home section!
OMG Gabrielle...the boys were so funny yesterday. When we left they were in the process of writing a second song....don't know if they finished it or not. They were so proud of themselves. Honestly wasn't sure how much the boys would be involved with the garden since Sarah is not the garden person but now that they own the house and have flowerbeds and a place of their own instead of just renting, even Sarah has taken more of an interest in the garden. She will actually go out and weed with Jason at times.....it's fun to see! The boys love to help him for now....let's see how long that lasts!
Carole...glad you are enjoying a quiet morning! Sounds like the picnic was a success...you definitely had perfect weather for it! I'm sure you were exhausted by the time you got home! The pictures of the girls looks like they enjoyed the day for sure! WOW....that is chilly this morning....when I got up about 7:30 am it was almost 70°....to be low 80's today and the humidity is down but the humidity is coming back! It was nice while it lasted but we all know around here that August means humid!
Happy to report the "cold" is gone....used my roller all day yesterday and last night....work up this morning with no congestion, no cough....good to go!
Exactly Carole....the boys didn't get put in "time out"....just needed to separate and chill out. I didn't put a time frame on it, I just sent them in 3 different directions and gradually when they had all regrouped they were back together and playing perfectly!
Waves to all I missed....Jason is finished up so now it's my turn to take over the kitchen!!
