Audrey Ha ha ha. . Wonder how many lil boys had D. Boone caps? Did Bob also have a "A Man From Uncle" spy kit? R. did.
Am guessing that men like Richard and Randy are more wired to interact w/ the real world. R would rather build something, help someone, and fish & hunt. His natural inclination fo want physical interactions & results leads him to have less attraction to the virtual world.

Cathy You drew up a very clear road map for an OP day! Yum. Your breakfast burrito sounds delicious! Thx for the inspiration for a different breakfast option.
"Golden Girls" was an American sitcom from the 80s. Theme song included the words "thank you for being a friend" ... Show celebrated female friendships of mature women. Was a hoot!
New courses are a lot of work, but exciting to conceptualize & field test. Hope that your DD has a great start to the semester. Ha ha ha ... leave it to the grands to let you know that you goofed!

Good morning all. Our temps finally dropped once again last night and we were able to sit and enjoy the screen room. Just love it when the air is crisp The walk with Donna pushed me well over 16,0000 which I have not seen in a long time. Not sure I'll be able to repeat that today. I was pretty beat last night. LaDonna after the pie, I'll be hitting reset right along with you. June and Audrey, LOL to the Daniel Boone hats. I do remember those and got quite the 'image' MJ have fun at the park. Enjoy that coffee. Don't blame you for watching and not jumping LOL. Cathy great goals as usual. Glad you enjoyed your eggplant. That is so tasty especially fresh from the garden June I so used to enjoy the Golden Girls. Especially the song. Enjoy your day. Not really sure what is on the agenda for today. I would just like to kick back. Tomorrow I have the 'over the phone' check in for my surgery. I love that this particular hospital doesn't require you to go down there and do it in person. Smaller hospitals have less complicated rules. Wishing all a good day and will try to CBL.

If I am remembering right, Cathy, The Golden Girls solved everything with cheesecake --- or it seemed that way to me.
Today I am setting out to solve a mystery. Yesterday afternoon when I swept the kitchen floor, I saw one ant. Have no clue where he came from, but will do some searching this morning.

June - It's the simple things that get us through the toughest times. During my very dark period in 1997, my jetted tub was my best friend. Hugs and prayers. Eventually it does end. Bee - My body is also telling me a different story than my mind does Audrey - You are still extremely busy! Hope you are feeling better. Ann - I am paying for Saturday and it was worth every single bite. Becky - Great goals. Glad you had a nice time with Jayleigh LaDonna Cathy - Love baba ghanouj! Good plans I guess you needed the sleep MJ I'm in planned and need to finish tracking. Had a nice day with CJ and Rich o the deck. Both Cheryl and Carol stopped by for a while. Daria arrives Friday through Tuesday. But the following weekend I HAVE NO PLANS!!! Can't wait. Weather permitting I am going to the beach! I've only been once this year.

Ann So less stressful to have your presurgery check over the phone. Yes, it is a relief when any part of the process easier for the patient. Hope that you can stretch out w/ a good book or watch a worthwhile movie.
Bee j Ants drive me nuts. Hope that your guest was a lone soldier. My nephew's house in FL had ants show up this spring. Not good.
Susi Can just picture you hanging out in your back yard w/ lots of good company. Ain't that the truth-- lots of fun to anticipate & then entertain company. Equally as when the visits are over.
Pam Ready, willing, and able-- have a great day before your WI.

Waiting to see the urologist so no personals. We took Lily Belle to the vet at 8:45. Luckily the part time vet was there to see her. She is semi retired and very experienced. Rather than do hundreds of dollars of tests she gave Lily an antibiotic shot and sent her home with probiotics. 3 cans of dog food that helps digestion and 2 medications. Also she said she is allergic to the coast since we have brought her in mid July to mid August for the past four years. We are slow learners. She wonโt go on the beach or water so it is something in the air. I am taking benzonatate capsules for my cough and sucking on honey lemon cough drops.

I'm here at home with FourBoyz (the Kressling came here after soccer tryouts but then went home with Mom when she was done with grocery shopping): the Mice, K'ling2, and the Zigster.
Trampoline place went well and they gave a lot of bonus time (they call the wristband color when time's up and we went for almost 2 hours). We've had lunch and there is a plan for a mid-afternoon snack if they're interested.
The Mouseketeer "lost" his playDate-afternoon-at-HIS-house privilege when he "forgot" what I had told him not to do again (which is, in any case, something he's regularly told to STOP DOING). That means no fancy gaming with his cousin. But the younger ones are playing trains and the older ones are getting along with whatever they're doing so here we shall stay until late afternoon or they blow up, whichever comes first. And this "forgetfulness" in the child with the steel-trap memory for EXACTLY what was said is something to bring up tomorrow when I take him for his session <ahem>; it happens when it's something that he would RATHER forget, and it gets him into trubble.
We have some chicken from Son#2 if I don't get the chicken at DD's out of the oven by the time she gets home...

Thanks June. I took my hood walk earlier with Donna, came home, had coffee a shower and lunch. Now I'm doing laundry but not much more than that. Supper will be roast beef sandwiches and coleslaw...easy peasy is about all I can handle LOL. Audrey that is awesome that your vet saved you $$ and Lilly Belle trauma. Hope the meds kick in and she's back to her normal playful self. Hope you feel better as well. MJ glad you enjoyed the trampoline LOL to IT happening...it surely does. Pam good luck tomorrow at your WI. Well, I'm calling it quits on the computer for today. Going to sit on the sectional with my ice water close by and my kindle. Maybe I'll get some reading in before I doze

Ann, our big hospitals do everything over the phone as well. It just saves time. The urologist's office offers and on line check in so after I sign in and pay the $20 for a specialist fee, there is nothing else I have to do. Lily Belle was happy and joyful for everyone at the vet's office but now she is just resting. She turned up her nose at the food but I was able to give her a dropper full of the pink medicine with DH holding her. Hopefully she will be more responsive after he gets home. I am so exhausted. This morning I called the shower door people who will arrange a time for tomorrow. I went to the bank before my appointment and to the janitorial supply company in Clovis for 2 gallons of tile floor cleaner before I drove home. The latter was after the medical appointment which was fine other than the scale. Susi, I understand about being near the beach but never having time to just go and relax. I have to redo the table with the kitchen linens I washed earlier and hand dry a blouse I did on delicate.I have to go through the check book and list any deposits and home maintenance bills so Bob can do the money tonight before we have to do it again on the 15th. Our pool has really gotten cooler in the past two weeks so perhaps I can squeeze in a bubble bath before dinner. MJ the Mousketeer is at a difficult age in learning responsibility. Before school Whitney sent me a happy photo of Theo with his dad but then Rob called later to say Theo apparently had a temper tantrum at the school. As I may have mentioned he is now at a new school way across town for a dual immersion Spanish/English program. He is repeating transitional kindergarten because he is young and immature. He is 5. I don't think his parents realized how traumatic this is for him compared to being at a comfortable neighborhood school or even at the school he attended last year. He is also probably one of the fewer non Hispanic children in the program. My mouth is closed beyond this point. I also see Nora as having issues as she gets older because of a lack of boundaries now. Leo is just a quiet responsible child and she is a wild 4 year old. My older two mock their younger sibling's parenting which is strict with rules, boundaries and consequences but having worked in schools for so many years a child has to respond to rules, boundaries and consequences unless it is a small nontraditional school. We are born who we are in so many ways.

LaDonna I had to LOL at Randy falling asleep watching Gunsmoke. We have a friend who has to have dialysis twice a week at his home and anytime we visit him while he is on the machine he is watching Gunsmoke.
June I agree with the fat being mostly between my ears.
Cathy Great goals.I couldn't get rid of my husband if I tried. It really helps that when we were married almost 35 yrs ago(9/22)we were best friends and we still are. They do say opposites attract.
MJ You needed that rest.
June That describes Kenneth to a tee.He worked for a lumber yard most of his life which is why he doesn't get overly heated when he works the cattle. When he is in a store waiting on me though he never meets a stranger.I will ask him after I see him talking to someone who he was talking to and he says he doesn't know.
Ann It doesn't sound like you did much damage with that pie.
Susi I'm glad you were able to enjoy the deck this weekend with friends.
Bee I wish our ants would go away.I am so tired of spraying and am one giant ant bite.I hope you get rid of yours. We think ours are coming in because it has been so dry for so long.
Audrey I hope you and LB both feel better soon.
