TRACKIN' TUESDAY.... Will track in my journal - and try to make the time to track in MFP too... I think I need to get back to seeing just what I am eating! LOL Not sure it will "help" but I guess it can't hurt!
Thought I slept OK last night - but feel soooo tired this morning... I have an appointment with my Dr. September 4th so hopefully we can figure out what I can/should take to help me sleep!
Meanwhile - I need to work on my food and drink for the next three weeks - before going to see her! UGH! My weight is UP this visit for sure!!
Monday Mindset - 100 oz of water/liquid ✔️ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ✔️ No flour ✔️ Journal ✔️ No eating after 7 PM! ✔️
Need to keep these goals going for Trackin' Tuesday... Ken will have a meeting tonight - so I will do something "quick" for supper... something with chicken... just need to pull it from the freezer!
Gonna try to catch up here... but think I am running later than I should be... ♥

Sue: Oh no... hope the day went well for you! Yeah, midnight is a tough time to still be awake!
Gabrielle: WE are "up" to 64 this morning... I'll take it! We should be returning to HOT weather this week... I hope so - feels like the summer just went too quickly around here!!
This is the time of year I hate having the pool - gotta keep it open/running/clean, but not hot enough for people to use it!
Good luck getting DS19 to pack... hey "threaten" him that if doesn't you will! That will light a fire under him... maybe???
Is the monitor any less painful now? HOW do you sleep with it? I'd be afraid it would go too far under my skin.... UGH... good luck Hun ♥
Oh I Know... and the only reason we do the 50/50 is for someone to WIN some cash! I only bought $5.00 worth... because yes we do all have that "line in the sand"... and I didn't expect to WIN.
Tracy is feeling better - she has a couple of appointments today... I am hoping SHE will call the credit union - but she was off yesterday and didn't follow up... leads me to believe she is not as keen on this as I thought...
LOL I know, when I try to spell your Kate's name, I know it isn't right... (my??) Kaitlin was fine yesterday... the fact I didn't leave her with a LOT of work helps... and I truly didn't go out of my way last week to get things done - it was a fairly slow week for her stuff!
Hope everything works out for your Mom - sorry the "have to " appointment falls on a busy week... {{{hugs}}}
Sue: Sorry the day was long... lack of sleep ain't for sissies!!
UGH How I would love to be 15 minutes from SOMETHING! LOL We have local gas, and the store... but MAN a quick trip to Wal-Mart would be heaven sometimes!!
Trying to not over react to the fact Tracy made no attempts to contact the credit union yesterday... she was here all day! I am hoping it was just because she was chillin' most of the day? I am trying not to think that she really doesn't WANT to move out!
I know... just weird that the holiday is still so high... like I said with schools starting earlier now, who goes away over Labor Day anymore!?? Anyway... we may still be able to salvage something.
We had 42 people NOT show up for the picnic... 42! I am so ticked off! Seriously how do that many people "change their minds" about attending??
Shelly: LOL Oh well, one "oops" moment isn't so bad!! I am sure little Chesney has electronics here and there - otherwise she wouldn't have known how to play the game?? LOL We have to limit tablet time for Eden too! Glad you were able to see and spend time with Tyler and Chesney... even a quick trip is better than none?
NICE! A Sunday matinee!! Glad you got some rain... hope it was enough to ward off the chances of fire!
Hoping the weather cooperates so you can walk today after work... and Hope you got some sleep!!

Good Morning ~ I'm with you Carole, I slept well I thought but wake up feeling exhausted! Geesh - need to see am I not breathing right? I am cutting back on those meds - but I'm sure that has nothing to do with fatigue. I drag myself home from work and honestly, like our Shelly, I am so tired by 7:00 pm - I am taking Vitamin B and Magnesium for leg cramps but lately not working - waking up in middle of night with crazy painful spasms in my legs. okay, enough...anyways ...big excitement around here for our Girl Lindsey - finally her 21st Birthday coming up tomorrow!!! Will need to bake her cake tonight, pop a few gifts in gift bags, and hope to find a cute pic to post of her on FB! lol We will have a family dinner tomorrow at a local brewery for her 1st official beer with Dad Thursday night is dinner/drinks with my DM at a locally owned Wine Bar - hey, she's paying, so why not? LOL Somewhere in there Lindsey's GFs from school are coming here either tonight or Wednesday or Friday? I could not keep track of all her plans!!! Hoping everyone is doing well - I will have to sit and get ya all caught up - been too busy around here again.

OK Need to get moving... no lunch to pack, I have been invited out to lunch! I feel a little awkward about it... it is my former supervisor, Ken... just odd. He is always easy to talk with - but going to lunch just feels... odd! I know - gotta get over it, it will be nice to visit outside of work... and stepping out of my comfort zone - may get me motivated to go out more often! ? Anyway... going across the street to the place I like to get the grilled chicken salad - so I already know what I am ordering!
Yesterday went well - I expect the same for today... hope you all have a great day ♥hugs♥

Happy Birthday WEEK to your DD Linds! LOL What fun for all... Hopefully you can get some relief on the leg cramps... wonder if the Gabapentin was "helping" and you didn't know it? I took a Gabapentin last night to sleep - guess that's not a good choice! LOL
This going to bed at 8:00 PM Sure puts a damper on after work activities! NO ambition - lucky I cook some nights!
♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Yep, Track Tuesday, but wanted to pop in and see how everyone is doing. It is going to be another "hot one" today....but it's okay. I finally get this monitor off tomorrow. When I sleep, I have to lay on my back or on the other side. I think that it started hurting less yesterday. This is going to sound awful, but I hope that it isn't because my skin has grown around it somehow? I don't know--we will see tomorrow. Now I want to see what it says!
Carole: Glad that you slept okay. Hey, I know what you mean about a little anxiety due to going to lunch with your former boss (we remember Ken!) I think that you would be great company though! Does he still work at your bank? I wonder if that has something to do with it? Now I am dying to know! Regardless, have a good time (once you get over the initial awkwardness). Maybe Tracy is letting "fate" handle this whole credit union thing....she is letting that be a decider about what happens? So, no idea if they are lowering the price yet? Well, hope that you have a good day---glad that it worked out with Kaitlin yesterday!
Shelly: Oh, how fun to have Tyler and Chesney there! Sounds like you and Chesney have a special connection. Sorry about being so tired, but glad that you went to bed by 10 pm. I struggle to exercise in the evening...here, the wind calms and it stays pretty hot. The mornings usually are the coolest time of day so that is why I go then. Hope that you can get your walk in tonight maybe? So sorry to hear about the fire danger--so scary! Hope that today is a good day and that your employees are working out.
Christine: Happy birthday to Linds (tomorrow)! Sounds like fun times--and emotional for DH I would think? Oh, so sorry about the cramping you are having! Crazy thing I read once said that a tsp of mustard helped...I know, weird. I think that some ingredient in the mustard helps? I have never tried it! Hope that you have a good day today and that you are feeling better as the day goes on.
Hello to Sue and all who follow. Need to get this show on the road. I have a meeting until 7:00 pm tonight so a long day, but also a short week with taking DS19 to Eugene on Friday. Make it a good one, ladies!

Will catch up after work....should be a fairly busy day and hopefully will go quickly!

Evening all....busy but productive day! Got a little rain but the severe storms we were supposed to get went south of us which was a good thing! I forgot to grab my umbrella from my car to put in the van for the day so was glad that she showers started after I got to work and ended about 3:30 pm so I didn't get wet! It is always weird to drive the van after being in the CR-V all the time...I take the van 2-3 times a year....for being 18+ years old it really does still ride well and handles perfectly...just different!
Shelly...glad you got to pop in last night! Sorry you have been dealing with the HOT temps...I saw on the news this morning that your area would be getting those severe temps again! Glad you got to enjoy a quick visit with Tyler and Chesney...she sounds like you two are real "buddies"....how cute is that! ♥♥♥ OOPS about the phone but I'm sure that is not the only time she has been playing with electronics...heck she knew how to play the bubble game, right! I know the girls like to limit screen/electronics time too but a little won't hurt! Kids these days will have to learn how to handle electronics in order to survive in life but limiting it is not a bad thing!
Glad you got to see Lion King too....we saw it and loved it on Sunday! Not sure we will see Toy Story 4....will likely wait until it's on Netflix and probably will watch it at some point when the boys are here. I loved the original Toy Story, but all the sequels were OK....nothing I "have to see"!
Hope you were able to get to bed by 10:00 pm and feel more rested today....I'm planning on another early night tonight too....hopefully I will be caught up from my Midnight Sunday! I will say I feel better today but still a bit dragging by the end of the day!
Thanks for starting us off Carole with that tracking reminder! I too need to get back to tracking on MFP....I did a couple days last week but nothing consistent...I'm still not focused....not drifting too far off but far enough that I'm up and down the same 5-8# for months now. I'm hanging onto a "6" in the middle but sometimes drift dangerously close to a "7" and I don't want that! WTG....look at all those green checks! I know you can get a handle on that before your doctor appointment in September.
Hopefully you can figure out the sleep issues and what might help. I know sometimes now since my FitBit tracks the "stages" of sleep I'm amazed that women our age are really not great sleepers....it says my sleep patterns and the time in each stage (REM, light, deep, awake) is all normal and most nights fall in the right range for women my age but I still feel tired and then other nights I feel rested??? Wish I had a "magic pill" to fix it for all of us!

LOL Carole....it was 73° this morning when I got up but it barely got any higher...I think it was 79° when I got home....thanks to the cloud cover! I will say it might not be hot but it is HUMID and I have fans going just to move the air! Thankfully according to the 10 day forecast summer is coming back! I'm not ready for it to "feel like fall"! It's funny....I would still be in your pool every day....as long as the temps are upper 70's, low 80's....I'd be in....doesn't have to be scorching hot for me...I love the pool and would be in it every day!
Carole/Gabrielle...I too have charities that I donate to annually but I always help out at things like your picnic Carole, knowing it's for a good cause. Might not be a lot but whenever I go to any fundraiser event I always try to help out with a little bit know I too never win the 50/50! LOL!
Carole...glad Tracy is feeling better. I'm sure Tracy does want her "own space" but on the flip side the unknown of whether she can do it on her own is looming.....I'm sure yesterday she was just in "veg mode" trying to rest and recupe after feeling lousy and then picking up the extra shift! Glad Kaitlin wasn't too bad yesterday....always nice for a slow week when you cover for her....makes it easy on your while you are covering and easier on you when she gets back because the less she has to catch up on, the less drama you have to endure! LOL!
42 people "no showed" for the picnic....I'd be more than annoyed! That is so inconsiderate of the not only the people who planned the picnic, activities, etc but also the bank who "foot the bill" for the food and entertainment....do you think the bank or organizers will say anything about that?? Maybe not now but next year when the picnic sign up rolls around??? That is ridiculous....I get it, sometimes things come up but 42 people is WAY too many for those "things" to come up!
Oh Christine...sorry sleep issues plague you too! It is odd how some nights I feel like I slept well and I'm still dragging! Have you ever had a sleep study??? I know many people with CPAP machines because of breathing issues that they didn't know they had.... Have you tried Potassium but leg cramps??? That's what I've heard is a "biggie"! Happy 21st Linds.....your baby girl is growing up! Sounds like a full week of celebrating! WOW, DM is treating to a night at the wine bar for the occasion! How fun....take advantage! LOL!
Gabrielle...you must have popped it the same time I did this morning! Well, I guess it's a good thing the monitor is hurting less now but it still has been a REALLY long week. I too will be anxious to hear the results....with your healthy diet/exercise lifestyle it makes me wonder what it will show. I'm still baffled that they even went to this extreme for 100 non-fasting. My fasting this last time was 100 and the doctor just said "it's the top of normal so we will watch it"!
Lisa....finally got a chance to check your FB page for pictures from the wedding....looks like ti was a perfect day! I love your dress!
Waves to all I missed....time for some dinner and relax before an early night. Hoping Hannah will call to FaceTime...today was the 1st day of school for Kale & Rowan! Can't wait to hear how it went! I saw some pictures and Rowan looks so excited!
See you all in the morning!

Evening all. Need to try to make this quick but want to catch up. Today I was just annoyed....by the time I got home this evening I was just in a funk and down. Not sure why so down but wanted to get the heck out of work early!!! Went to visit my old trainer after work. He is putting in a gym and he showed me what he is planning on doing. I really hope it works out for him and I wish I could afford to train again because that’s the only time I’m consistent at the gym but I might try a membership again. I think if you do 3 times a week training he is charging 20 each session, 2 times a week will be 25 each session and 1 time a week will be 30 each session. Last time I trained he cut me a break and only charged 15 each session. That would be a 60 a month savings. I wish he would do that again. He’s hoping to be open by September 7, looks like he has a lot to get done. He said it will be a work in progress. The biggest issue for him is the other g that is already established. But the thing that will help is the several he is already training will be moving gyms. Also he will have new and modern equipment and less crowded building.
Carole thanks for starting us off today. Tracing is not my strong suit these days. Guess I don’t want to see what I am actually eating. I have got to drop what I have recently regained again. Ugh!!!! WHY ....I always do this. I lose maybe 10 or so and then just start regaining.
Sorry your turn out for the picnic was bad. Nearly 50 ppl that was expected didn’t show....that’s crazy. Oh yeah I’m sure if Chesney wouldn’t have thrown such a fit when daddy told her no more phone it wouldn’t have been so bad I know they don’t want her on electronics much if any but yes it doesn’t take them long to catch on to any of it. Now DDIL Vicky (Michael wife-oldest son)is all about the kids having electronics. Of course she’s a teacher but I feel her kids are need to be monitored more on how long they are on theirs. They bring them over her that is all they do. Actually it’s funny that the least technically smart DDIL is the one who’s kids are on the tablets all the time. The two country girls want the kids to be outside and active.
Rain ended up not being much. Tonight another chance but just saw an updated radar and looks like a good chance we will miss out again. I sure was hoping with the wet spring this was going to be a wet year. Now it’s so super dry. Hope there isn’t much lightning tonight.
Oh I saw something on FB for present ideas for kids so I may make some Sunday matinée a thing for Christmas and Birthday gifts and get some special time with the kids. They have so many toys they don’t need any more. If mom wants them to have more maybe she can be the one to buy them lol. I’m thinking movie tickets or bowling night. Maybe just a special trip to McDonald’s to have a lunch date and play on the jungle gym. Just some bonding time. I would really enjoy that I think and then a book or something they enjoy reading.
Christine I snooze a lot but once I get up I’m usually good. I usually go right to sleep and sleep all night. Just tired at end of the day. Well usually exhausted and end up dozing right after I set down on the couch. Maybe a multivitamin would help me. I am terrible about taking vitamins. Oh Happy Birthday to Lindsey. Hope she has a great day!!!! Sounds like you’ve got a fun night planned.
Gabrielle what kind of monitor do you have? Sorry I’ve been so in and out I missed what’s going on. Oh yes I’m not sure how things have gone in my favor with Chesney but I’m loving she wants me when she sees me. And how she told me I was her “best friend” made my day. Yes she tells others that too but it was special. With the little bit we get to see her I’m going to soak up what I can get when I get it. Soon she will be to busy for me and that will be sad.
I wish I didn’t have to be at work at 6 because I would love to do my exercises in the mornings but I barely get out of bed by 5:15 I am considering if I do the gym again going in at 5 before work at 6 but I will have to think about it.
Sue the heat wasn’t as bad today but is coming back in a few days I think. The wind just gusted pretty good and they are talking about sever weather but looks like it will once again stay east of us.
Some days when I get home and it doesn’t matter what time I fall asleep early and get up and go right back to bed and asleep within a few short minutes. Tonight I actually stayed awake and fixed DH some elk steaks in the instant pot with some noodles. It was like a beef and noodle dish. It turned out pretty good. Love my pressure cooker. Still wonder if I would use an air fryer.
Ok it’s about 10:45 and I need to get to bed. No wonder I don’t want to get up by 4:00 to workout. Will do my best to check in tomorrow
