WORK IT WEDNESDAY...
Same Goals for today: 100 oz of water/liquid - (22 oz done!) 5 F/V No sugar No flour Journal No eating after 7 PM!
I grabbed another HUGE zucchini someone had brought in to work - so maybe I can get Tracy to make some kind of stuffed zucchini boats for dinner. I have ground beef in the freezer - I'll have her look it up on Pintrest.
I will also focus in my stretching that I can do right at my desk today - need to work on those 2-3 times a day.... need to build more strength in my left ankle/toes, and try to help the PF in my right foot! Might not count as "exercise" but it won't hurt me, right??
Let me grab my coffee and catch up a bit - before Ken comes down... ♥

Trackin' Tuesday went OK... I didn't track in MFP but did my journaling, and was mindful of my choices!
100 oz of water/liquid ✔️ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ✔️ No flour ❌ I decided on chicken quesadilla for dinner! Journal ✔️ No eating after 7 PM! ✔️
Makes a difference... I know that the flour and sugar are (maybe) the worst for me, and yes, after dinner I was "full", and I only ate 1/2 of the quesadilla - will take the 2nd half for lunch today! Also had a few chips and queso - but, it's OK... my day was 2 HB eggs, tomatoes, salad with grilled chicken for lunch... and water and tea... so dinner should not big deal!
Feel pretty good about the day!
Gabrielle: Thank goodness you get that darned thing OFF you today! Yes, can't wait to hear results... and reasons...
LOL Yes, Ken still works at the bank - he moved to IT... and well, I guess he just wanted to "catch up"... it wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be... it was fun actually! I heard about his upcoming trip/cruise to Europe!! HE asked about my back/leg issues... of course we chatted about some of the goings on around the bank - even in IT they have department issues! LOL It was all good. Thanks - yes, Ken and I talked about how maybe Tracy isn't quite "ready", so maybe the CU not returning her call works to her benefit... I need to just sit back and let things happen - or not happen - and stay out of it!
Sue: YAY for a good nights sleep... hope you got 2 in a row! LOL I wish you had a magic pill for us too! I am dead tired today! FITFUL night last night... just awful! I know this is part of my "mood" and "Attitude" too...
LOL Yeah, we all say that every year too... but then as the days of summer wind down - we don't hit the pool each day... when you get home to low 70s it is not an incentive to get in the water! Pretty soon though the water will feel warmer than the air! 'Tis the season!
Nope... I am on the organizing team - and I mentioned it to a couple of the others and they were like, well, it's to be expected! Well then next year we pay the caterer for 50 meals LESS... IMHO... don't care how many say they are coming... last year it was 32 this year 42 that didn't show! I forget how many employees it was... but most were bringing someone... anyway... I think it is awful for that many people to not show up! The guy that gets the caterer says, no biggie... he's very "cheap" and will always bring food for 200! Excuse me? 200?? We never have that many at the picnic! UGH! Some folks weren't too keen on the food this year - so maybe next year another caterer!
Shelly: Oh No... feeling "down" is one of the worst things for us {{{hugs}}} OH I hope you can get back to your training - I remember how good you felt! Not about GOING all the time, but once you went you felt better... keep trying... gotta.keep.trying.! I hear ya'... we think we have this thing by the horns, then WHAM, right back into old habits and the weight comes back... By having my leftovers today I will have my flour again - but earlier in the day... maybe it won't bother my sleep? A couple times I woke up during the night I still felt "full"...and I had NOT overeaten!! I should journal THAT and see if it is a pattern I have when I eat flour/carbs...
Not surprised the "country" girls want the kids outside... fresh air - sunshine - exercise... all good country living... no electronics needed! Hoping DS Tyler wasn't "angry" with you about it... just glad they were there for a day or so ♥
The rains seem to be avoiding us here these days - they call for it, then we barely get wet and it's done! Looking H-H-H this weekend, so of course this brings more "chances" of T-Storms...
Oh yes, gift certificates to take the littles to the movies would be a great gift for them! Make up your own certificates - so you pay for the tickets. lunch, etc. when they want to redeem them! Makes it easier to handle the cash flow too! LOL Rather than all the gift $$ coming out in December?!
I'm not good about vitamins either... I was when I was doing the Plexus... and I did feel better... but not sure I want to get into that expense again!
Hey now... you do NOT know that Chesney will be too busy for you soon... she may (as she gets older) want to come to Gramma's for a week during the summer... I always did! I loved my summers in RI with my Grandparents... hey - ya' never know!
UGH... good luck with 5 AM gym class! I know you CAN do it... but UGH! Heck I could do it - I am up between 4/5 each day anyway - but to get up and DO a class... I WISH I had that "energy"... I would love to say I do 30 minutes on the elliptical each day... at 4:45 AM... but... UGH... Can you find an "Opening" person for the store? Maybe if they opened at 6, you could go to the gym and be in by 8? Then work 8-5? I know it's later than you usually work (scheduled to work) but if you got your WO in at 6:00 AM... maybe the longer day wouldn't wear you out as much? LOL Since you don't often get out until 5 anyway... maybe try switching up your hours?!?
Yeah, 10:45 - 4 is not a good night's sleep!! Glad you sleep good WHEN you sleep though...

OK Gotta move it this morning - by taking the whole hour lunch yesterday I am "short" on hours... I need to get in earlier today to make some time up! Next time we go to lunch I have to do it on my 8-5 week! LOL NOT my 8 - 4:30 week!!
My lunch and snacks are pretty easy to throw in the bag today - and will have HB eggs for breakfast (again)... easiest thing to grab and eat at my desk these days!
Nothing planned for tonight - maybe a little more de-cluttering... got through 2 piles of "paper" last night and this morning - will now take the 1 pile I created and get it FILED... think I need a NEW file cabinet... one that can sit here in the DR near my desk, rather than the BIG one I have out back - ya' know... outta sight - outta mind... nothing gets filed as it should!
OK Ladies - WORK IT WEDNESDAY... HOW will you WORK IT today???
♥hugs♥

Good Morning ~ a little late here today but wanted to check in, and read what everyone is up to - going to start focusing again on LOSING this excess weight as I slowly emerge from this whole Shingles episode ~ Fell asleep in bed around 9:30 last night but woke at 11:00 pm to house full of giggling girls! lol Not upset at all! I didn't go down to see everyone as I'll see most tonight - but it sounded like Linds was all set and ready to go out at Midnight for her 1st legal drink!! lol Carly was their Driver - just one or two drinks at a popular tavern. Tonight they are going to an outdoor patio/water front bar/restaurant - I am SO tempted to join them for a drink and watch the sunset Carole - sounds like your Work Ken really did just want to sit, chat, catch up over lunch. Sweet! Glad you were able to make time to do that - the weather should be clearing here today - heavy rains where our school is located (not in our neighborhood) and yes, I got a good soaking walking and walking the distance into the building even with an umbrella LOL all good - at least it was warm rain! Gabrielle - Thankful today you get that monitor out - really hoping it reads results that are helpful to your physician - curious to hear what new recommendations come from this - DS19 pack yet?? lol It is so hard to light a fire under them isn't it? Okay, gotta dash - Working it this Wednesday!

Good morning!
Getting ready for another hot day 106 today, 108 tomorrow.....eek. We used to have entire weeks of that so it could be worse. Today is a DOR from the TM and appreciating the time. Didn't get home from my meeting until 7:30 pm so looking forward to being home earlier tonight. I am proud to report that DS19 packed ONE box yesterday (turkey)....and he is finally starting to realize that it all needs to get done. I could sense the pressure last night. I know it will get done, just realize that I don't have a lot of control over him
Carole: So glad that you had a nice lunch with Ken! It did seem like the two of you always got along fine. So he likes it in IT? It does seem like, no matter where we are, there is always some kind of "drama" or something. I had one time where I worked with a team of 3 other women that was WONDERFUL--it was about 3 years of time and I still realize how lucky I was to have that ideal work situation. Good idea to track that flour and see if it is making you have that "full" feeling. Hope that you can get those stretches in today--seems like they really help. Still no word from the Credit Union? Hmmm....you and Ken know your girl well Hope that you have a good day!
Christine: So now you have two girls over 21, huh? Oh, I think that you should join them for a drink and watch the sunset! Sounds amazing! LOL about the giggling girls waiting for midnight. It really is a significant birthday for us all. So glad to hear you talking about being on the "other" side of the Shingles incident. Wow, what a challenge it has been! Now you can focus on other aspects of your well-being (I hope). You deserve that!
Sue: Sounds like you needed some rest last night! I am not sure that I would wake up if I fell asleep in the recliner! I have to head to bed when that happens. I LOVED Toy Story and only saw the 2nd one after that. I have such great memories of taking the boys to see the original one--such a cute movie. Not sure about Lion King--most likely will wait for PPV or some other way to see it. Hope that you have a good day....oh, speaking of swimming, are you going to be swimming at the Y again now that the boys are heading to school and things might be more scheduled? I remember how you loved that!

Sue: Oh, good job keeping that "6" in the middle...we all have our "non-negotiables", and you will get the tracking, etc. settled again--you are so good at that! Yes, I am looking forward to hearing what she says today too after seeing the monitor data (I want to see it too). I really have had a "Normal" week--long run on Saturday, track days, one night with a glass of wine, etc. so it's a "real" week for me. I sometimes feel like she will ALWAYS find something wrong with me. The blood panels that I have are like 3 pages long of numbers ---something is bound to not be perfect. Hoping that I don't become one of her "experiments" -- she seems to like to do things like that.
Shelly: Sounds like you really like that trainer! $30/hour sounds like a steep price unless you are by yourself? Maybe you can pair up with two other people and save? I wonder if you might do some searching and find a "coach" that would work with you and help you find ways to work out (maybe even set something up at home) and support you individually. Have you thought about that? Could be a great option---and you might have someone even though you live in a rural area--we do around here. I loved Carole's idea too...maybe you can get someone to open for you? Even a few days a week? Hmmm.....maybe it's time to rethink the schedule. Hope that you have a good day today!
Hello to Lisa (loved your pics of the wedding--now you have another son! When is the next wedding?), Jenny, and all who follow. Getting the monitor out this morning so working from home (instead of going in for 30 minutes). Taking DS19 to TJ Maxx for some last purchases (a frying pan, spatula, etc). I made tacos the other night so have some the meat to make a taco salad for lunch today--one of my favorite lunches. See you all later!

Good morning 🌞 trying to get back to normal routine. Laundry almost caught up. Greg goes back to work tomorrow. Other than being humid, the wedding was beautiful. I think that the newlyweds head back to Missouri today or tomorrow.
Will try to read posts from last week. I'd like to do something fun today since it's last free day and a bit cooler out.
Hope everyone is doing well!
