Busy night ladies! I slept like a log and wouldn't mind going back to sleep LOL Charlie is walked and ferals are fed. The sub spin instructor this morning is one of my favorites. Then a mani. Possibly a town wide yard sale near by. Otherwise the pool and deck. June, Bee, Audrey, Becky, Ann, Cathy, MJ, LaDonna, Pam and anyone I missed, have a WONDERFUL Saturday.

Cathy, the Jumble puzzle came out in our newspapers in '54. Back then you always had to wait til the next day to get the answers. I do it on-line. Don't like that way as well as the newspaper, as they time you.

Cathy Great goals. Including enough water & produce at mealtime is a winning strategy. Happy birthday to your DD. Ha ha ha. . . Some of the best soups, chili and stews are born from a simple base and then adding dibs and dabs.
Ann Nice that you could rest soundly. Was an answer to prayers. Enjoy your pampering and whatever else the day brings.
LaDonna Good way to offset what could be a wildcard dinner w/ adult beverages. Sometimes nearly being OP is what works best. Have a productive, but not hectic Saturday. Glad central SC had some rain fall.

Susi Have lots of fun today! As always, it's to a great plan to start your Saturday w/ a spin class.
Bee j Thx for sharing. Like Jumbles, too, but would not like to be timed. Part of the fun was to be able to come back to the puzzle later.
waving hi to Mj & Pam. Will try to check back later!

June, sometimes it would take most of the day to get the last word. And some days I have been known to call sista or vice versa. BUT it was fun.

Took DDIL out to breakfast and ate all wrong. BUT sure enjoyed it.
Back on the right train.
Making a slaw type salad --- shredded slaw stuffs, cut up apricots, craisins and cut up cold roasted chicken. A dressing like the broccoli salad one.
Am roasting more chicken as if I keep it to munch on, I am less tempted to eat stuffs I shouldn't.

Bee chicken is always a good 'go to meal' when you have strayed. I do the same thing Enjoy. I love eating breakfast out. Glad you enjoyed. It poured for about an hour on and off and that just made the humidity worse!!!! I shall wait until the sun goes down before I attempt to walk. Take care, all.

Called and was able to get in for a mani appt this morning. It was definitely needed and welcome. I started drinking water last night and am now working my way through another 20 oz. This is a very good thing. Meals have been planned and are tracked. I’m working on getting my steps in. I’m smiling as I continue to aim for blue.
Wishing everyone a healthy day!

There’s been a lot of conversation today and I just can’t respond to everything.I had a huge knitting disaster last night.By circular wire needle broke and stitches started falling off and I couldn’t fix it myself.I was sitting on the couch watching an Avengers movie with my husband and half attention went to the movie with the other half on the knitting. I was able to use my rubber band for the ends and grabbed masking tape for the wire. Today I bought a new needle and the store owner patiently transferred it for me, not an easy job.

Happy you enjoyed the manicure Pam.
Hot here also, Becky. Pain is still present. At least I got a decent nap in.
Audrey so happy your knitting was salvaged.
Donna wanted me to go for a walk. I just texted her back saying I'm not up for it but invited her over for a coffee. She is on her way.
She's such a nice gal so I try to make her feel good about herself.
Keep cool.

Ann, you are the best neighbor. Enjoy coffee with Donna. La Donna, wings and drinks sounds like another lifetime. You’ll be able to work around it. Bee, count me in at loving Jumble but I am slow at puzzles of every kind.
