So I took a lawn chair and a cooler full of snacks and sat out by the mailbox all day waiting for my newsletter. Now I'm sunburned and sad because it never arrived. Can I bring anything while we wait?

The impression I got was the newsletter would arrive by email. Sorry about the sunburn!

I didn't get a newsletter from Mindy.
I feel so abandoned by WW.

Can I bring anything while we wait? A pitcher of margaritas and some nice appetizers would be nice. Preferable fried - wings, cheese sticks. The good stuff!

The impression I got was the newsletter would arrive by email. Sorry about the sunburn! But what if I don't have email? Or a computer? Or a smart phone? Or any of that new-fangled stuff? I am doomed to spend my life newsletter deprived.

DebDoesWW, borntexan, OK, Texas gals. We can meet Mindy at Buc-ee's and get BBQ sandwiches, fudge and throw in some Beaver nuggets. I'm sure she'll love it! LOL!! Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets Contrary to what these sound like, Beaver Nuggets have nothing to do with rodent droppings. They are, in fact, sweet, buttery corn puffs whose name is a nod to Buc-ee's beaver mascot. I would not take Mindy to buc-ees. She is not worthy. 😐

If Mindy were indeed a WW member, I’m surprised she hasn’t seen the short comings of the company and acted to rectify any of it. I call bs on that, or am I being too harsh! I believe being a WW member is a requirement of employment. I think making spouses join is optional 8>).

What I should have said is being a member and following the program are 2 completely different things, saying you’re a member does not make you “one of us”

The CEO before David Kirchhoff was also a long time WW member. He is the reason they’re in the mess they are now. The launch of PointsPlus was hugely successful with the hype bringing in tons of new and old members. But the subsequent aftermath nearly ruined WW. Remember the complaints and people jumping ship? The hype drove up the stock price making analysts believe the company was worth more than it is. They’ve been chasing those PointsPlus launch stock prices ever since.
Anyway, Dave used to have a similar letter in the magazine. Now that it is gone, I guess this is her way of reaching out plus her Connect handle and (public) email address. I have her private one, so I know that isn’t it.

Buc-ee's is a travel center, primarily in Texas on major highways. It was started by 2 brothers who wanted to be sure they offered the cleanest bathrooms for families traveling. In the women's section, there are individual little rooms that are so clean. They have won national awards for the cleanest bathrooms in America (I know, the things we get excited about) In addition, they have very good food to purchase and also gifts. At the Buc-ee's close to our house, there are 120 gas pumps and the worlds longest car wash in the world. Yea, everything is bigger in Texas! Google Buc-ee's and you'll see a lot of information. Buc-ee's will always have a special place in my heart because of the outstanding things they did for the people impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Here is a picture of the ladies' restroom. Yes, green lights mean the stall is ready !!

linda72, that is awesome. Reminds me of the bathrooms in the big rest stops on the Autobahn. They were always spotless. One of the worst parts of traveling is dirty bathroom, so this is really nice to see. Better than the old Stuckey's we used to stop at when we were down in Texas.
