I'm sure millions of this email went out to many WW members. Mindy, CEO of WW wrote and said she's starting a monthly newsletter.
Here is the first paragraph:
Hi Linda,
Welcome to my inaugural newsletter! As some of you may know, I am not just the CEO of this amazing company—I’m also a WW member. What makes WW different is the incredible community we have built, both online in Connect and in Workshops around the world, and my absolute passion is talking with our members. I get the benefit of incredible tips, ideas, and inspiration from all of you during my travels, and this monthly letter gives me a chance to return the favor. I’ll share WW updates, as well as news from my life and, of course, my kitchen!
Check out my first batch, below, and email me your thoughts, and what you’d like to see in this space in the future.

I am rushing to my mailbox to see if she and I are BFFs too!! I am so excited!!!!
*snort* I’m not sure if posting her Twitter page access and a direct email address right now was one of her wisest moves. She is going to have to hire additional people to help her with damage control.

You are special indeed linda72. I did not get that email. However I did get an email offering me a third month of digital free. I guess since I didn't go to the studio and pay the missed meeting fee they decided to throw me another bone. |

I have a mailbox titled “Isolation Booth.” Mindy’s newsletter landed in it. Smart computer—it knows attempts at damage control when it sees it!

Okay, I’ve had time to read it and reflect on it.
It seems that Mindy is trying to repair her image—perhaps by trying to channel Saint Jean—to project charisma that, to date, she hasn’t projected.

DebDoesWW, borntexan, OK, Texas gals. We can meet Mindy at Buc-ee's and get BBQ sandwiches, fudge and throw in some Beaver nuggets. I'm sure she'll love it! LOL!! Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets Contrary to what these sound like, Beaver Nuggets have nothing to do with rodent droppings. They are, in fact, sweet, buttery corn puffs whose name is a nod to Buc-ee's beaver mascot. ![]()

I always thought David Kirchhoff had the upper hand by initially being a WW member himself and getting to goal weight, and then working in every capacity from the ground up (including being a receptionist/weigher at meetings) learning how the company works; to fully understand the needs of the staff and the needs of the customer.
If Mindy were indeed a WW member, I’m surprised she hasn’t seen the short comings of the company and acted to rectify any of it. I call bs on that, or am I being too harsh!

So I took a lawn chair and a cooler full of snacks and sat out by the mailbox all day waiting for my newsletter. Now I'm sunburned and sad because it never arrived.
