Good Cold Morning to Y'all, 14 here to 37 BRRRRRR! 3 pages yesterday! We are a bunch of awesome folks!
Cat I love that World Peas photo you shared. I copied it. You may see it on facebook.
Jenny, I am glad you got a good night's sleep. That is always welcome.
Kathie, Jim is making good progress.
For those who asked. I had to give in and let the heat in my bedroom last night. I did not like the door open to the hall because of the night light, but I managed.
Massage and chiropractor this morning. I think that will be all I do in town. Brother in law is to be moved today to the speciality care hospital I was in. Won't be there early I am thinking. Afraid they will come up with another excuse not to move him.
Have a warm and Holly Holly Monday. Keep Christ in Christmas Lucy

Hello, Lucy and all Jollies,
Snow and ice falling. I'm really seeing winter this year. Temperatures rising, however. It is right at 32 degrees. Glad I'm on the third floor.
My cleaning lady gave me a small loaf of banana bread. What a dear lady! That is one of my favorite breads, too.
Lucy, I think I got that picture from FB. I have to keep adding a picture because I will forget what I am doing. Well, that's my excuse.
Prayers for Trace and Diane's DS. I think I'll ask Debbie about Kathie's text problems.
Blessings! BBL

So happy to hear that Trace is doing better. Praying he continues to improve.
Nothing much happening here. Got a bunch of stuff done inside yesterday. Haven't been outside since we got home from our celebration on Saturday. Just too cold for me.
Rehab today. At least the roads are clear again.

Good Morning Lucy and Holly Jollies,
This morning it was 6º (feels like -7º) and going up to 31º with party cloudy skies and wind SW 10-20 mph.
All three girls went to school this morning, just three days this week and then they will be on Christmas break until January 5 for Hannah and Rachael but January 4 for Sarah. These three days are final exam days for Hannah and Rachael.
MJ says she feels a lot better but is achy when the Advil wears off and is still coughing a bit but in general feels a lot better. We have some Christmas packages to wrap while the girls are at school and I hope we can get that done today.
Another Japan memory: I don’t know what made me think of this Japanese holiday because it is in the spring. The holiday is Shichi-go-san which means seven-five-three and is a special day for girls seven and three years old and boys five years old. Their parents take them to visit a shrine and they are dressed in beautiful kimonos for the girls and black suit with short pants for the boys. I often wondered how they came up with those ages and why there were two for girls and only one for boys but I never found an answer for that. The kids always looked so cute all dressed up on that day, May 5 if I remember correctly. More tomorrow.

Good morning Holly Jolly Friends!
I woke in the night and prayed for Trace and Diane's DS. It's so great that Trace's pain has lessened! Diane, hope your DS gets blessed answers today in KC.
I'm still finding spots to clean on my Kitchenaid mixer from the "Buckeye disaster" last week. It's almost as bad as the "Broccoli/Cheese disaster" of a few years ago when DH dropped the whole crockpot on the floor and the soup flew upwards and outwards. If I have any more "disasters," I may have to remodel my kitchen to get it clean! He also spilled a crockpot of soup in his truck once. Now we limit him on what he is allowed to carry! LOL!
Casey has decided that inside is best. He has a spot on the back of the sofa that he has decided is his own. He thinks DH's chair is his as well.
We are finishing up the box to send to Germany. It seems awfully small now. Don't know anything special for DDIL. She doesn't drink as much coffee as she used to, but I may send some Starbuck's Christmas Blend just to have something for her.
I had thought I'd go to the nursing home today, but the windchill there was -15 this morning. I don't think I'd better make the trip alone.
I hope each of you has a fine (if cold) day!
BBL. --Molly
PS: We were at -1 this morning with a predicted high of 29. Almost balmy!

Our high for the day is to be 21° , we have sunshine for the day. So pretty and snow is sparking like crazy right now. Very white as we don't get the dirty plowed stuff. It is 19° right now not as cold as some of the places this morning. the sky is very blue with not a cloud up there.
I feel a little bit better. Body aches not as bad. The fever and chilling are pretty much gone. Headache still there but not as bad either. Glad that Trace has some relief from the pain. Hope this new med does the trick. will you be going to "hang" out with him again Lucy, imagine the school will be on Christmas break soon. Will he wait to see how it goes until after the holiday.?? Keeping fingers crossed for sure.
Cat I love banana bread if it isn't too dry. Seems like everyone has a different recipe. I have a holiday bread that is banana bread with marachino cherries and nuts in it. I better find that recipe, may make it for Christmas day. Keeps well. DD#1 loves it, it can't go to DD#2 as she is very allergic to walnuts. Do you put butter on it or eat it plain? I even like it toasted in my toaster oven. enjoy!!
Hooray, finally going to get hair colored and trimmed tomorrow. It looks awful!!

Okay, that settles it, I'm getting a loaf of BB out of the freezer. Looking forward to a slice warmed 10 sec. in the microwave with real butter on it and maybe just a dab of strawberry jam. No thingies to count, right?
If we can believe everything we read on the Internet, it's true that anything licked from a finger or a mixer beater or a pan has no calories. However, if one leaves enough in the pan INTENTIONALLY to lick, that has double calories.

Hi Lucy and all Jolly Ladies,
It's 26 and sunny out (feels like 21), the high 44. There's a good possibility that we'll have a white Christmas. YEAH!!!
Yesterday I got all the wrapping completed, until I remembered the gift exchange one but that won't take long, just add tissue and that's it. Also as I was putting everything away, I was getting things organized so that's a start to my 2017 goal. Today I plan to put the rest of the gift wrapping supplies away, vacuum, and who knows what else, maybe start on my thank you cards. Feels so good to have the gifts all taken care of. Gifts are in boxes/bags for the direction they are going on Christmas day. There's a few that I couldn't get into the boxes/bags so they're under the tree, looks like I've lots of gifts, boy the boys will be surprised when they come over tomorrow, not to mention how big their eyes will be. Do need to make a run to target to pick up one more stocking stuffer and get some gas.
Lucy, enjoy your massage, and I hope the chiro will help to get you in tip top shape. Glad Trace has a good day yesterday, prayers that today is another good day for him. Hope they are able to move your DBIL soon.
Cat, banana bread, love it especially when fresh out of the oven. Enjoy.
BettyJ, hope you have a good rehab, and may the aches and pains of the rehab be good ones.
Doris, glad to hear that everyone is felling better today.
Molly, just remodel the kitchen, that's more fun )
Diane, how's your brother doing?
Connie, your description of the weather was beautiful. Glad your feeling better.
Well, guess I'd better empty the dishwasher and get moving. Have a wonderful day everyone, stay safe and warm.
Rocky Mountain Christmas Linda

Phyl, can't they hold the Yorkie for you if they know you'll be back to get him/her from the holiday?
