Thanks for the start, Becky. Can't believe you beat all us east coasters. My Garmin is still doing freaky things. Body battery still at 5 and when I got up in the middle of the night, my stress was at 98. Makes no sense and I wonder if my tracker has an issue. Things were fine until Sunday and I checked my previous stats for the past month and they were pretty consistent. Body battery rarely got below 50 and stress was usually below 30. I posted on the Garmin forum so we'll see if anyone responds.
Chele, I just saw a contestant on The Price Is Right from Dayton. I hope she wins! Did Baby Emma go home yet? Great that the new dad is taking off a couple of weeks. Do your DN's inlaws live locally? She will have her sister for support and advice, but it might be nice to have someone else in case she needs help. Are you going to cook something to take so they have food without either of them having to cook? Glad DN liked the candy you took for her. Probably didn't last long.
Well, Kathy, the report on Dorian on the a.m. weather mentioned Orlando at the top of the list of potentially impacted cities. Sorry to hear that. What are you hearing? Might be good that you and DM got the grocery trip for the week over with before everyone starts hitting the stores in a panic.
Linda, how are you doing? Is Micki back to himself yet? Is tomorrow a museum day? Have you been to the pool lately?
Last day at the office for a while, Liz. Hope it's not too insane. Are you doing all the home prep stuff, like getting the pups' food, getting things set up for when you come home post surgery, etc., or is Gary adept at doing that?
Working the fair tonight so this might be my only opportunity to check in for the day. Doing my usual Monday laundry because I wasn't home much yesterday to do them. I'm a little tired but not like I was on Friday. Sleep has been about normal, so not sure what might be going on. Other than Osteo, after I get through tonight, I have nothing until Sunday. We got about half an inch of rain over night, so I won't have to water. YAY!

hope not by you...Some parts of the country are experiencing blooms of blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) in their fresh water sources. Blue-green algae have neurotoxic properties and can result in death if ingested, either by drinking water with these algae present, or by licking items contaminated with the algal bacteria, including the fur of another animal. According to the ASPCA and the Pet Poison Helpline, there are a number of symptoms that may result after a dog ingests blue-green algae, including vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, excessive drooling, liver and respiratory failure, and death. While we are not currently aware of any cases of harmful algae blooms in bodies of water in Arizona, they are a possibility for Lake Havasu and Lake Powell, per research done in the Arizona State Law Journal and by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
Harmful algae blooms are not always visible at the water’s surface, which can make spotting them challenging, as the algae and bacteria may be clinging to plants below the surface. Most frequently, the affected water will be covered in a bluish-green scum of algae, or the water will appear as if mixed with green paint, resembling pea soup. If you and your dog encounter a body of water with such an appearance, do not come into direct contact with it.

Thanks for the start, Becky. You are still very hot. We are supposed to get to 77° today and it is still raining. One good thing about the Apple watch is it comes with a charger that does not require a USB port. There are also plugs you can buy that fit a USB port and can be plugged into a wall.
Karen, I hope the Garmin community can answer your questions. Did the Daytonian win the Price is Right? DN’s inlaws live in the area, so they will have help there as well as other DN. Other DN is pregnant again, so I think within a couple of years SIL and BIL will move down here to be near GKs. BIL wants to retire in a couple of years. I am thinking of cooking up a batch of Firehouse Enchiladas to take with us when we go visit. Enjoy the fair tonight. I hope your entries win something.
Kathy, I looked at Orlando’s forecast for September. UGH! Florida weather will look better to me in January. I hope Dorian leaves you alone. I also hope it bypasses PR. They don’t need any more hurricane issues.
Linda, sorry to hear the first round of antibiotics didn’t do the trick. Did you manage to hack at the overgrown bush today?
Liz, I hope you are winding things down today and can get away at a reasonable hour.
Baby Emma goes home today. DN sent a blanket with her scent home with DH so the dogs and cat could get used to Emma’s smell. I hope that works. DB’s cocker spaniel was fine when DN was an infant but when he became a toddler they had to re-home him with an older child. Poor Paddy could not handle the pushes and tail tugs of a toddler.

so...Another week of 110 or more. #$&*%-!!!! Sawing in that bush branch is going to have to wait unless I am ambitious to get up very early. It it is hard, just tedious sitting in a cushion, but too icky out there.. but it beats hurricanes. Hoping that one turns out to sea.
Dr called , cancelled apt. and they are giving me three more days of different antibiotic. They wanted to do macrobid since I am sulfa allergic and said if my itching was after the fifth day of it last time, it wasn't that...i said no, I am still getting over it! So it is cipro, which i used to have years ago and was ok with even though I had problems with levaquin. fingers crossed...

Becky, thanks for the start. We're a late bunch today. Karen, the latest cone for Dorian has the entire state in it. They said it will be one or two days before we know where it's going and how strong it will be. If it goes over the Dominican Republic, it may weaken a lot since they have elevations up to 10,000 feet. If it goes in between Puerto Rico and the DR, then that is trouble since it won't weaken. I hope PR doesn't get much from it since they're still recovering from Maria. Apparently, all those paper towels that were lobbed at them didn't solve the problems. I'm hoping we're not going to spend Labor Day weekend holed up at DM's house. Not fun at all! Chele, UGH is right on our September weather! December through March is my favorite time of year for Florida weather and even then we get some hot spells sometimes. Enjoy your highs in the 70s. Hope the pets react well to Emma. Linda, hope the new antibiotic does the trick. You've sure had a tough time of it lately. The blue-green algae has been on the news here too. I don't see people here letting their pets get near the ponds, so that's good. Liz, how's the week going? Hope all goes smoothly with the prep and surgery.

Karen I had already done my recumbent bike workout and got on here and thought everyone must have slept in.LOL.I don't know if your tracker has an issue or the app does. However my body battery went below 50 quite often and I could really feel it when it was that low.I did find out when I rested a little while it would go up slightly so I never completely bottomed out but I did get down to 5 more than a couple of times.I hope you get answers on the forum.Good for the rain. It's a little cooler today considering it's only 93 at 2:15.We have had a cloud cover all day it's not as humid. However we are getting smoke from agricultural fires in Mexico and the Saharan dust.
Linda Two dogs in the Austin area have died as a result of swimming in one of the Highland Lakes in Austin. They have restricted people and pets from swimming in the lake for now until they get it cleaned out.I felt so bad for the dog's owners because they knew nothing about the algae until it was too late for their dogs.I hope the Cipro works.
Chele I would love to have some of your rain.At least it's not miserable today at least not yet.I have one of those USB chargers that plug in a wall outlet but the charger on the Inspire HR is very short and the charger keeps coming out of the wall so I just use that one for my phone charger.I'm glad baby Emma is doing well.

108 but humidity makes it feel like 112.
Finally removed the photos from the 2007 Mac desktop...sure do miss those big screens. We had been slowly getting passwords and personal data off it or a long time. Today I put on a new system (the original 2007 one) that allowed erasing the computer and writing over old stuff. Then I removed the hard drive from the 2007 laptop and destroyed it....hammer! Bib took it to a Mac resale and fix place that will properly dispose of it. You cannot just dump those. The desktop was dying anyway and neither could support new internet sites. They said too old to sell and no fee! Two more useless things out of the house.
