Trackin' Tuesday wasn't one of my better days - not sure why, but got home and SNACKED... then had a light supper - didn't get anything else done last night! UGH! So tired... and frustrated with myself... slept like crap too!
100 oz water ❌ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ❌ No flour ❌ Journal ✔️ No eating after 7 ✔️
So much for Monday being such a GREAT day... Moving on...
WORK IT WEDNESDAY - HOW will YOU "work it" Today??? I will (attempt) my usual goals... dinner is leftovers - and I have to cook up the chicken I pulled yesterday... I did cook what we needed for supper, but the rest went in the fridge to deal with today! UGH!
Not sure what was "wrong" yesterday - just came home feeling "down".... and frustrated... and let myself GO! So today will be a better day!!

Sue: How did vacation staging go? All set to just throw it in the suitcase?
Lisa: OK You are a much better person than I am... my kids would have had to do that return!! God Bless you ♥ Actually the book was a re-read... I had read it when it first came out - but wanted to read it again before the new one came out... but yes, I do enjoy my books by this author! Oh this time of year REALLY messes with my head too! UGH! I cannot stand it... If I take my usual later lunch I miss the sun on the picnic table at work - so bummed to eat in the shade most days! Hope you were able to enjoy a bike ride!
Jenny: Oh dear... Diane is back.... no more reading during the day? LOL So when is she retiring?
Sue: Ahhh, FAIR fries... we just don't get REAL potato/french fries around here much... most places here sell the frozen things... so a good fresh real potato french fry - I go for! But yes the onion rings... not sure HOW I passed on them this year. Pumpkin and blueberries... my family wonders the same thing. Oh I can eat a pumpkin bread or a blueberry muffin, but not much pumpkin stuff is a draw for me!! Gramma used to make squash pies too! She had the squash and would have to buy the pumpkin.. but nope... no pumpkin pie for me! EWWW!!!! Yup, the damned stretching - I do what I do... wish I felt like doing more! Thanks, yes I want to go to another guy - fairly local - my sister went to him so he could tell her what her retirement would look like... it's a lot like making a will... ya' know you have to do it - but making the appointment just isn't a priority!
I will do PT if she really thinks it will help... just gotta find a way to budget it in right now!
LOL I guess, but to me a Yankee Swap is a Yankee Swap... hope they have fun with it though!
LOL Never thought of nachos as fancy - but then again I never had them when I was 5!
Shelly: {{{hugs}}} sorry the jaw is still bothering you - hopefully the oils will heal it up nicely... but please call the Dr if it isn't cleared up soon! You don't want to take a chance with an infection! Can you tell us why you think you are "scared" to go to the gym?? Hope you got some good sleep... {{{hugs}}} ♥

OK Should get moving here this morning - should leave early, as I got out early for Dr appointment yesterday - lost about an hour of time! Will need to leave early again tomorrow for my injections - was going to day, but saw they are not doing them today! UGH! Saw the allergist yesterday - she will bump up my "maintenance" dose, since it seems to be wearing off before the 3-5 week time frame. The past week or so I have been using my eye drops and nasal spray - and taking the Zyrtek... not supposed to have to do that with monthly injections! So September I will have to go weekly for 3-4 weeks to get me up to the monthly maintenance - then back to monthly again. Not a huge deal... will leave work early every Wednesday in September!
Looking forward to Friday OFF this week - heading to RI on Saturday. Ken works Saturday but will get out an hour early to leave... should be at the hotel before dark! Sunday we will have the hotel breakfast, then head to the beach with our picnic basket and cooler... to spend the day!! Will probably have a nice dinner out - then return to the hotel, and head home Monday. Just want to be out of town - even a couple of days...
The following week we will close the pool. It's time... as much as I hate to see the winter cover on it - I know it's better to close it and be done. Done with chemicals, and time - and electricity... yes, it's time.
OK Now I am moving - going to throw lunch together before Ken comes down - then I will be able to get out of the house earlier... have a great day ladies - and remember to WORK IT WEDNESDAY!!
♥hugs♥

Morning Carole...going to try and do a little catching up for a few minutes this morning since I know I won't be on tonight since it's a painting night....doing a Fall version of a truck filled with pumpkins instead of a Christmas tree. Will be fun!
Carole...look at all those green checks from Monday! WTG tracking in MFP too! Try putting in your Zucchini Lasagna recipe in the recipe builder....if it came from a website you can put the link in and it will auto fill it then you delete and add ingredients so it is actually YOUR version. It's pretty easy and I've done it a lot! Then you can save it to your profile too! I've heard that if you go to bed too early the last part of your night is more restless and therefore you don't feel like you got a good night's sleep. They also said you should go to bed at the same time every night regardless of week day or weekend. Now that can be tricky since you never know what the weekend will hold!
Carole...with all you have had in medical bills this year are you close to your deductible?? PT might be mostly paid for if you get it in during the 2019 calendar year! Oh my, didn't realize Kaitlin "confessed" to you that she contacted Amanda & Josh when Ken tried to stir things up! Hope Crystal can stay strong and do what is best for the running of the department.
LOL Christine....sometimes husbands are so annoying in the middle of the night.....Jason will poke me and push me over, then if I don't cooperate he with huff and roll over, flopping the covers. Glad I'm not alone on the "romance" part!
Gotta fly....just glanced at the clock! YIKES! Will pop in later if I get done early enough!

Good morning! just a quick hello before a peridontist appt. which I considered rescheduling AGAIN, but better stay on my oral hygiene schedule. The credit cards are just going to have to carry me for a couple of months and I have come to terms with that. It's usually a minimum of like $200 walking out of the dentist office, and I will get a small portion of that back from the State of Ill. insurance in about 18 months after meeting my deductible of course. Anyway, sometimes it does come at a good time and is a nice surprise.
So after dentist, to Kinkos to make copies of our missing 2017 W-2 forms before dropping them off at tax office to file an amended 2017 state return. Then taking Greg's broken glasses (lens fell out last night) to All About Eyes to hopefully be able to mend. And pick up library books on way home. I might run through Kohls since I got a 20% off coupon in my email today.
Carole-today is a new day so hope it's better. Yes start looking forward to the long weekend!
Sue-oh that sounds like an awesome painting!
Movement? I hope that Greg will be up for a walk this afternoon. We played a game of mini golf yesterday afternoon and that was fun.
BBL!

Good morning!
Got home late yesterday and had a conference call....never got on here. Glad to be home, but it was a good meeting and helped to think of our long term goals. It's pretty high elevation there (about 6500 feet) so I felt kind of winded while on the TM at the gym--this happens more sometimes than others-- but powered through it somehow. Good thing too because, with meetings on both days and driving, it was a LOT of sitting. Back at the office today though.
Carole: Oh, more than the shorter days and cooler temps, I know that the seasons are changing when the Hall family covers/uncovers the pool! Sigh...yes, seems like time moves kind of quickly in some ways, doesn't it? The doctor's appt yesterday was for allergies or for your foot? Sounds like the allergy thing worked out. My insurance also has a copay/deductible AND I am only allowed 12 PT visits per year. I found out the hard way that the "year" is counted from my 1st PT appt through the next 365 days--I thought it would start over on Jan 1 each year. Yes, sounds like a good idea to meet with the other recommended retirement fellow. I need to schedule an appt with our retirement system people--I have attended workshops, but hear that it is a good idea to get the more "personalized" option. So happy that you are getting away to RI...sounds wonderful! I agree that sometimes it is great to just get away for a couple of days. I loved the fall when we were there a few years back---it is really beautiful in NE. We have a beautiful fall around here too, but it's never long enough. I love the clothes for cooler weather, the crisp winds, the leaves---all of it! Hope to see a little of it in DC in October. Hope that you have a good day today and GREAT job with your tracking!
Christine: Glad that the PD day is behind you and now on to the kids! Your office is moving AGAIN? Do you know where it is? Is it really an office? Hope so....did Linds start on Monday? DS19 called yesterday and (not surprising) is getting antsy for school to start--it is hard to meet new people when you don't have school or work. I am encouraging him to look for part time work that will work around his school schedule before a bunch of other kids come back. We will see.....hope that you have a good day at work today and maybe get a nice walk in afterwards (Colby would probably like that --Oh, and hope that it went okay with your mom....

Lisa: Nice to see you and sounds like you have a full morning! I feel so fortunate to have good dental insurance--glad that you might get some $ back-- a nice surprise! LOL about the TP--like Carole, I would have made my kids do it too. You are not the first person to tell me that potential retirees need to think about what they want to do in retirement. Thanks for the advice. My sister said the same thing--I should consider consulting. We will see...I might want to do something totally different! I actually liked working at Macy's in college to make extra money. Making travel plans would be fun! I have a cc for work and my assistant uses it all of the time...she has told me before that making the travel arrangements (and putting it in a folder to plan it all out) is one of her favorite things to do. Hope that it works out for you! Mini Golf sounds like a great way to get outside and get some steps in too. Nice!
Sue: Nice advice for Shea from Paul! I do think that would be calming for passengers. So excited for your trip too! Loved the photo of Rowen and his "fancy" nachos, LOL. Love the things that kids say... You are so right, insurance is SO expensive. I just got a notice about open enrollment and need to look at mine--it is about $1950/month total and I pay $750/mo. I don't think it would be too hard for me to find part time work to offset the cost, but who knows what it will all look like in 5 years. DH is chomping at the bit--wanting to retire. Can't wait to see your pumpkin painting....by the way, like you, I love most anything with pumpkin (except in coffee--that Pumpkin Spice Latte doesn't interest me AT ALL). My grandma used to make Zucchini Pie--it was green, but tasted like pumpkin! I think that "normal" green goddess has avocado as a base, this one does too, but not so much oil--it has basil and other spices and just tastes great on salad. Hope that you have a good day!
Shelly: Wow, glad that the tooth is feeling better. Hope that, if it was infected, that the pills helped. Should you still get it checked just in case? I have heard that tooth infections can really make you sick down the road. So sorry for all of that! Glad that you are safe from the extreme weather too.
Jenny: Saw you pop in--Diane is back? Hope that she is in a GOOD mood, LOL! So DS19 said it was 96 degrees yesterday--wow, you are definitely seeing some heat up there, huh?
Okay, need to go girls. I need to take something out of the freezer for dinner---bought Mahi Mahi patties at TJ's so might do something with that. We will see. Have a good day ladies!

Good Morning
Yes it was 100 degree's yesterday but I'm pretty much inside all day long. Yes, Diane is back and she has been in the foulest mood this week. First she's mad cause I finally got the authority on my scale program to do my job correctly and now I have as much or more authority on my computer so I can catch my mistakes and fix them now, so she's pissed off about that and also we got an extra license to log onto my computer so I don't have to call the help desk anymore just to get into my scales. Then yesterday our boss Fred came down to give me my anniversary card and sticker and to congratulate me for 19 years of service, well she's mad about that cause even though I worked for the old company for so long my sonority still transferred to the new one, Hey, not my deal that was worked out in the sale of the company. Then she yelled at a customer for being inside the building when we were not open yesterday morning. The plant crew comes in around 6:00am and the office opens at 7:00am so the customer just came into the office to wait, now we all have to have the front door locked and use the back door. The plant supervisor told me he's going to Fred cause she is just not working out down here and he told Mike the Plant supervisor, this is last stop for her, if she can't make it work down here she's going to get fired. Fred is also the manager of aggregate for mid Williamite valley and Fred is also the one Diane turned into HR last year. Fred is also the one who demoted her from her job. I just read my book and carry on. What ever!!!!!
Sorry to be a downer today
Jenny

Hey all. Talked to my trainer today and I start tomorrow morning at 4:45 am. I sure hope I get up on time I’m nervous about over sleeping and not being able to workout. Ugh what am I getting myself into lol 😂. Oh so this morning I woke up like usual and thought I had overslept so I got dressed brushed my teeth and put the door. Rushed to work and dint realize until I got to the door that I was an HOUR EARLY!!!!! Yep it was 5 AM when I got there. I couldn’t believe it. So after that I figured well I guess I can get up I might as well go work out. So that’s how I decided about that.
My tooth ache is pretty much gone. The oils have definitely helped. Without them I would’ve been back to the dentist. I’m pretty sure I have a cleaning appointment coming up soon so will see what’s going on then.
Sue saw tour painting and love it. I wish I could go to paint nights
Carole glad you guys are getting away for the weekend
Christine sorry you are moving offices. Hope this is a nice real office. Let us know.
Gabrielle how are things your way? It’s been cooler here the last couple days
Jenny Congratulations on 19 years!!! Way to hang in there this long. Glad they have recognized your loyalty
Lisa how was the dentist appointment. I hate going because they always find something wrong. One day I will have dentures
Ok got to get up early so heading to the shower so I can get to bed. See you all tomorrow
