Work it Wednesday went well... Except for the small piece of cake that I had at the celebration for Debbie! My co-worker Debbie has been with the bank for 40 years!! Should not have had the cake - it wasn't worth it to be honest! LOL Oh Well - it looked better than it tasted!
100 oz water ✔️ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ❌ No flour ❌ Journal ✔️ No eating after 7 ✔️
Dinner was leftovers - cleaned out the fridge, sent Kn en off with the trash - got my dishes done... rained - so no tub time!
Stayed up later than usual, finished the new book that came out Tuesday! Slept pretty good... today is "my Friday" - and for that I am grateful! No alarm tomorrow - and will not get up when I wake up at this time... will force myself to stay in bed for a while and hopefully sleep in! I got my carrots, potatoes and roast in the crock pot this morning - will have Ken turn it on before he heads to work - will be done by the time we all get home - and only one pot to wash!!
Let me grab coffee and catch up ♥

Sue: Hope your paint night was as fun as always. Yeah, I asked Tracy for the recipe, but she hasn't sent me the link yet... but I did find out it doesn't have any ricotta in it! Weird! It is just the zucchini - "taco" meat - black beans, sauce and shredded cheese! So if we have it again I will figure it out. It was OK... now I know why it wasn't as "good" as the usual... LOL... I love my cheeses!
HA! NO... Crystal is not "strong", nor will she be too "pushy" about shifting work... biding my time... if the machines add too much to my work load, and no one seems to care - HR will be my next stop!
I have a few smaller bills left to pay - but no, as of my last statement I was short for my deductible... co-pays do not count toward deductible! Tomorrow - that is one of my tasks to do... finish the filing and the paying and figuring out where I stand with insurance.
OMG Ken went to his PCP Monday - and after last week, when I slept in the other room one night, and he did another night... he STILL "forgot" to ask his PCP about his snoring/sleep study! I am so frustrated...
Lisa: Sorry insurance takes so much time to "catch up" after an appointment!! Ohhh, Kohl's... find anything nice to buy??? We don't have a Kohl's around here... no surprise, right? YES I am SO looking forward to the long weekend! I am a little "disappointed"... thought I'd be home alone Friday - but Tracy will be coming home and bringing Eden... I know she watches her most every Friday - but wasn't thinking they'd be "here"... they don't often come home anymore... I "think" it's because I will be here - Tracy has decided to come. Due to her new work schedule, I will most likely drive Eden home Friday afternoon - and pick Zoë up and grab groceries for our weekend away!
Hope Greg was up for a walk... ♥
Gabrielle: Glad you had your TM time - even if you were winded... yes, with all the meetings and the riding, I am sure you felt better for having done it!
LOL Yes, as much as I do NOT like seeing that winter cover every day - I know it's time... and one less thing to "care for" during the months of leaves falling... Although they are actually already "turning" and "falling" here!
Yes Tuesday was the allergist - PCP is next Wednesday 9/4... to discuss my foot, and a few other ailments... nothing "serious" but while I have her! LOL I also need to look into the yoga again - see if the timing has changed - or will change for the fall!
HA! I am hoping for "Indian Summer" in DC this October!
Jenny: Sorry - but have to LOL about this Diane!! WOW! I mean, Hell, I am sometimes in a foul mood - but MAN, she beats even me! I do NOT like going to work any more... and it shows (I think) in my attitude/demeanor - but WOW... I need to make sure I am NOT coming across as "angry" as she is!!! Yesterday my co-worked Deb, started a "log"... of all of Kaitlin's time "away" from her desk... and/or all the visitors she has AT her desk... she is getting ready to go to HR!
Somedays I wish I could just read my book and let it go... Oh Hun, you are so NOT a "downer"... Congrats on your 19 years...
Sue: Say what??? LOL HOW do you get monthly reports done - before the month is over?? I am confused.... but YAY for you!!
I am pleased to report my General Ledgers and my ATM are fully UP.TO.DATE.! Ahhhhhhh... good feeling isn't it???
Shelly: Too funny!! Sorry you were so early for work - but YAY to deciding to go back to the trainer... Good Luck to you being there at the butt crack of dawn! I'll be thinking of you as I sit here and lazily catch up and have my coffee!!!
Ohhh, be careful what you wish for... dentures aren't without issues either {{{hugs}}}
Hope you slept well ♥

Ugh... we had rain last night - expecting more tomorrow afternoon/evening... but the weekend should be fine weather. Rain or not a day at the coast is just what I need!!
Gotta get moving... need to go early again today - ahead of buses... hopefully! LOL
♥hugs♥

Good Morning ~ was paying bills and getting caught up on budget - blech - still waking in middle of night with awful leg cramps despite eating a banana a day plus adding fresh potato to dinner meals. What is going on?? So frustrating - but the good news is I am finding a nice energy boost with Vitamin B complex - better than caffeine lol
Short on time - been trying to leave the house at 7:00 to beat the heavy traffic. Our new location/campus means a drive through the most populated areas around here - figures - but it's okay if I leave early. Poor Carly deals with bumper to bumper traffic at a snail's pace on her morning AND evening commute. That is very frustrating!
Making hb eggs for salads. Just NOT in the salad mood lately though...leftovers from previous night's dinner sound so much more appealing...
I've been working longer hours then usual but then I feel pretty on top of things at work getting our Parents and special needs students ready for the new school year. The Prince has been holed up in his office ALL the time - I guess he's working pretty hard on being a CEO lol (rolling my eyes)
Gotta get moving - hope to find some down time this weekend~

Hi from my iPad....just a quick pop in before I get dressed and head out the door. Computer keyboard crapped out yesterday so will have to stop on my way home at Walmart to grab one. So frustrating but I have some things to do tonight before we leave for 5 days so need a keyboard. The space bar doesn’t work...tried taking it off and cleaning it but still didn’t work! Thankfully they are cheap and easily replaced.
Will get gas, well, “top the tank” on my way home too then finish up the packing. All the laundry is done and stuff is laid out...need to double check the weather in Avon before I make my final choices.
Friday night we have been invited over to Dane & Nicole’s house for dinner....I’m excited to see their new place, they had just moved in when we were up last year and we also get to see the nursery and the baby of course!
Gotta run...hopefully will pop in for a bit tonight at some point!

Good morning!
Got in my TM time and now getting ready for the day ahead. It's so nice not having night meetings this week! What a difference! Have chicken thawing in the fridge for dinner tonight and need to finalize what we are having (looking at a couple of recipes). It's a bit cooler this morning and we are welcoming the change. We are in fire season right now so there is a lot of talk and anxiety after how terrible last year was. Hope that we can make it through the season unscathed. Missed my WW meeting this week, but will go on Sunday. Looking forward to it---miss some things about my Saturday meeting, but Sunday comes close!
Carole: Hmmm...sorry that you won't have your house to yourself tomorrow. That is probably a bit disappointing. I know that you love Tracy and Eden (of course), but sometimes it is nice to have the place to yourself. So excited for you prepping for your trip! I have been a bit tense at work lately too. I think that it is because we have a lot of "balls in the air" right now and I STILL am chair of that state committee (which is a TON of work). I will be done with that at the beginning of November though and that will be WONDERFUL. Anyway, I need to get a better attitude. Yay for looking into yoga! I know people who love it...hope that it works out for you! LOL, we will both have our own wishes for the weather in DC...but on Sunday (of the marathon) I want it to be COOL. NY was perfect. Hope that you have a good day today!
Shelly: GOOD JOB committing to the trainer! I have the say that the morning routine for working out has always worked best for me. It is energizing and sets a good tone for the rest of your day---sometimes I find it REALLY hard to come home and try to fit in a workout. Good for you for committing! BTW, you need to say, "I WILL get up at 4:30 to workout" --- you can do it. Glad that the tooth is better and that you have that cleaning coming up to get it checked out. Hope that you have good day and feel energized after your workout!

Christine: So glad that you are feeling on top of things for the beginning of the year! What a nice feeling! I didn't realize that the new campus was in a completely different location--I was thinking it was next door to the old one. Sorry about the longer drive (but sounds like Carly has it worse). I hadn't heard about the energizing effects of the B-complex--so glad that you are feeling better as a result! Sorry about the leg cramps---did you try the mustard trick? Sorry- I know that it doesn't sound too appetizing. Hope that you have a good day--when do you move into your new office? Hope that it's nice and that you have time to move everything and get settled.
Sue: Haven't seen your picture yet (need to check FB I think?) Yay for leaving for your trip and feeling on top of the work projects!
Jenny: Wow, sorry about Donna--how stressful! Hope that, no matter how it happens, it changes soon for you. Congratulations on 19 years! How great that they honored your seniority...they really do (continue to) sound like a nice company to work for. LOL, how can Donna think that you shouldn't have the access you have? It's not like you just started the work....oh well. We all know that she came into it with a bee in her bonnet. Hope that you can continue to tune her out--and kill her with kindness!
Hello Lisa--hope that all is well with you!
Okay, going to get going. Have a good day ladies and I need to figure out what AMAZING, creative thing I am going to do with boneless chicken breasts!

Good morning! Took a walk and clipped some mulberry branches growning on another tree, and I already have a wheelbarrel full, so taking a break.
New wedding pictures on FB-the "50 Favs" shared by Kimberlee Boise-Fleming. Some of the outside background pics are just gorgeous. I do not like how plump I look in my pic with Kim, so that is going to be my inspiration! But I was still very comfortable in my dress.
Carole-oh an Indian summer would be great! Congrats to your co-worker for 40 years. I never made it to Kohls. I ordered a couple of things from Old Navy, so in reality I should be fine for clothes for extra help jobs.
Gabrielle-yay for no meetings...hopefully a productive day for getting caught up on other things. It seems that no matter what your occupation is, there are numbers and stats that drive whether it was a good year or a bad year.
Christine-I am working on budget at end of the month too. Take regular monthly bills right off the top and then see what I can whittle away on these credit cards, definitely American Express tops the list with their high interest rates! I am sure that the parents and student will appreciate your long hours to make the school year start smoothly.
Sue-I love the new painting-so nice for the autumn feeling. I hope that you can grab a new keyboard. You can probably tell which days I sit at the computer (like today) and which days I have many errors and am a person of very few words. Hope you get all ready for the weekend.
I have an extra help job lined up helping out in the extra help office. The coordinator is out for a couple of weeks, then needs some help with some kind of reports. I'm not sure what I will be doing or how long it will last, but she said the magic words of "you can work whatever hours you want" so I can wait a couple of weeks to get started. Also motivation to try and get some of the home stuff that needs done taken care of.
I have tenderized pork chops thawing for dinner. We seem to be in a rut again and tired of the old regular restaurants.
I need to get more coffee, my head screwed on straight, and back to the September budget. I was all on track till the wedding, but it was worth it.
Waving to all, will try to check back in tonight.

Not sure I can catch up completely but will take some time here now to go back and see what everyone has been up to this week. Yes, I had to stop at Walmart to get a new keyboard. All I have left is packing my suitcase and that shouldn't take too long!
Christine....glad in-service day went well....yes, gotta love the annual "have to do" trainings...for us it's fire safety, blood born pathogens, Right to Know (chemicals), Sexual Harassment...always a snooze but we have to do it! Actually, the scavenger hunt sounds like a fun way for the teachers/staff to learn their way around the building! Oh my, teachers showed up "union strong" and would have loved to see DL's face! Really, your office is moving??? Makes sense to move you to the academic wing but she hasn't had it started yet?? Hope you don't end up in another janitor closet! Gotta laugh at your DM sending emails to "hint" that you need to visit! Heck my mother doesn't ever call me, let alone text!
Carole....so glad Crystal "gets it"! Kaitlin will just have to suck it up and deal with the fact that when she calls off spur of the moment there is no guarantee her work will be done!
Actually, once retired, "stand by" wouldn't be bad but now, still working, it wouldn't be fun, I would likely lose time with them and I'd rather pay for that time! Yes FREE w/ restrictions! Once training is done, he works approximately 2 weeks one, 2 weeks off but when he's off, he's home....now when he's gone like that when he is home he still goes into the base and works 8-5.....He will get a schedule each month of the trips he's assigned to....if he has something he wants to attend for the boys or for a wedding/special event he can put that trip up for others to grab that want more hours and get the time off. He can also take extra trips if they want some extra money for a vacation, home improvement, etc....actually pretty flexible and VERY family friendly. According to Hannah, SW believes that the employee's family comes 1st and the SW family comes 2nd. Seems like the perfect fit for Shea who is a family man!
Lisa...guess the timing of the temp job really helped out with Joe's need for taxi service. Fingers crossed the car is fixed by now!
Jenny....hey there!! Diane is back, cuts down on reading and thread catch up time, eh!! ☺
Shelly....glad the oil capsules seem to be working for your tooth. So glad the loan from you boss worked out and 3 years will be shorter than you think and the savings is AWESOME!

Sorry Carole...had to laugh at your lack of checks on Trackin' Tuesday! Go figure that the tracking focused day would be a struggle! Happens to all of us! Never know what puts us in "snack mode"....Will say I've been pretty good about that this week....trying hard to be mindful of my "mindless" eating. Guess it is working because the scale today was down over 3# this week....didn't think I was doing anything different but as I reflected today I realized my mindless snacking has been "in check" this week! Coincidence?? Who knows but last week I had a "7" and I was pi$$ed....today 168.4....not great but MUCH better than last week!
Well, my "work it Wednesday" was basically planned around ice cream for dinner at Paint Night! When we do them at the ice cream place it includes 2 scoops of cookie dough/ice cream....BUT, the ice cream comes from Penn State Creamery which is NOT low fat or calorie but it is delish! The ice cream is made with the cream from the dairy that is at the main campus of Penn State for the Ag dept.....it is awesome and "Coffee Break" is to die for! I enjoy every bite! Depending on the cookie dough choices I get a little of that and the rest ice cream....can't do a lot of the cookie dough...it's really rich and sweet!
Carole...staging is going well...my clothes are on the bed and will take one last look at the forecast before I pack to decide the final choices...all the "odd ball" stuff like the Christmas packages, baby gift, etc are all ready to go too! Tonight Jason will bring up the cooler so we can add all the produce and fridge things that we are bringing along. I have my list of the "last minute" every day use things....you know, charges, curling irons, hair dryers, etc.....
OK Carole..."REAL" fries....I'm in! We used to make them at home a lot in our "Fry Daddy" but haven't done that in DECADES....but I do love when you go to a restaurant that has "fresh cut" fries....they taste totally different from fast food or frozen!
LOL....I know "Yankee Swaps" can be rough...if I go in knowing that all gifts are good, I can have fun but when it's a "crap shoot" and I mean CRAP I hate them. With this one, they will figure out quickly that I put all their gifts together and they get to choose who gets the final combo.....
Glad you have a plan with the allergist to get your dosage back up to where it needs to be...I'm sure each year, each allergy season differs depending on the weather...I know around here the weather last year and this year are totally different!
Need to get moving here....almost 8pm and I don't want to be up too late....might just have to read the rest and "be in the know" for now! Sorry will likely be MIA for the next 5 days! Hope all have a great holiday weekend...I know I will !

I'm back. Greg isn't thrilled with dinner, oh well yesterday he was tired of running around because he was tired. What is a girl to do?!? Pack up the leftovers and tomorrow is a new day...
Sue-yes Joe's car is fixed. Actually it is my car in my name so I paid for the repairs. They are saving up for deposit on their new place in October. I sure hope that that guy doesn't rent it to someone else in the meantime!
Got the first shot of shingles vaccine yesterday. Just a sore spot on the arm so far.
Going to refrigerate leftovers. Just can't please everyone with cooking!

Ugh it’s really late and I need to get to bed but I did want to let you know that I did make it to my workout this morning!!! It wasn’t to bad but I may be a tiny bit sore from a few squats. Didn’t do to many but did do a few. It was a fairly easy workout. I will be working out about 3 times a week. I just did the workout today and then he is leaving for a couple days then back at it Monday.
Sorry no personals but I need to get to bed. It’s after 10 and morning will come way to soon
