ann1953, you have extenuating circumstances, to be sure. Friday, September 5: 124.4 - up 0.8 lb. Sodium overload = water weight. I saw this one coming a mile away, but I ate the jerky anyway.

ann1953 , like lani said, you have extenuating circumstances so don't get too wound up over it because as you mentioned, it can be having your body regulate itself back to normal settings after a surgery, and that can take some time. Today was WI for me and I am firmly one full pound into a new decade, yeah Me! I'm down 1.0 from last week as well. I've been stressing less about hitting all my DPs and if I don't feel like eating all of them I just dont. So far it's working because I ate out twice last week, which is a normal no-no for me, but because I'm eating less some days I feel like it's equaling out. I also am not pushing myself at the gym, at least not like I've done in the past. I used to do the treadmill for 45-60 minutes and at like a high 3, close to level 4 speed. I can't do that now, or at least not 4-5 times a week. So I do a solid 30 min and sometimes I stay 45 min. Tammy ( Tammy) from my old Wendie/Maggie group here, used to always say that one shouldn't do way more exercise than one was willing to do in maintenance. At that time I was going to the gym 5x week doing at least 45-60 min treadmill, doing Pilates 3-4 times a week, and walking here and there. It was too much for me to maintain! Now I'm doing what I know I can do ad infinitum without hurting myself or re injuring old ailments. When I want to push more I can, but not daily. And I'm okay with that as long as it means I can do whatever I want to do, physically speaking.
lani, I don't know if it was the double Becking I did but man, that was rough!!! My friend over there reminded me that I did meet the 5 pound challenge that that group had going during the review so I guess that's good, despite the fact that I've been 'working' on this 5 pounds since March!
