Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Dreary, drippy morning. It’s supposed to clear up later this morning, I hope so.
Work went well yesterday. I took in 3 deposits, they sold 5 vehicles... not bad for a 5 hour Sunday. Working today, will get in my 8 hour holiday pay and an extra 8 hour work pay. Not bad.
My foot is still a little sore, I’m wearing a compression sock and that makes it feel better. I’m not doing the stretching exercises enough, but I am rolling my foot on a bottle of ice water every now and then.
Enjoy your day

Happy Labor Day all. It’s grey & ugly here too this morning Joy. Praying for sunshine to help my mood. I read something yesterday about something happening next spring and I almost had a panic attack thinking about winter in between. Think this is gonna be a hard one for me. May need to talk to the dr about trying something.
Glad to hear work went well. And they must be happy with selling 5 cars. What is the average # of new cars and used cars they sell in a day? Will you have help working today?
Hoping your foot gets better soon. I need to do more stretching of mine as well.
Just spent a nice quiet 45 min of “me” time. But decided it’s 9:15 and Stan needs to get up to let Maggie out and then feed her. Mara is still sleeping but we’ll get her up shortly too so we can keep her on some sort of a schedule. She doesn’t have a regular schedule at home, but we try to maintain one here. But oh was that peace and quiet wonderful. I just need that sometimes and it’s in short supply most of the time.
ok, going to get dressed and get moving. Stan is going to go help DS today. They haven’t done anything yet because DS wasn’t up to it, but things have to get done today. He goes back to work tomorrow. Sometimes you just have to push him a little to get moving.
Have a great holiday all. Will check in tonight.

It rained until about 10:30, then the sun came out and it ended up being a beautiful day. They had a cookout at work for employees and customers. Hots dogs and burgers for all ... Other cashier started the morning, I came in an hour later, she left an hour before closing. I think I heard we had 15 today. Every month is different, based on the past years sales, but it sounds like 10 sales a day is what they aim for.
Ruth - you really do struggle during the winter months. I get the blahs, but you definitely get the blues. I think this winter will be better for me because I plan on going to the Y during the week. I’ll have a new focus, some goals I want to achieve ...
Meeting other cashier and her DH in a bit, we’re going out for ice cream.
See ya tomorrow
