Just thought I'd jump start us seeing as I'm still 'awake' Can't believe that it's been a week since my surgery! My how time flies when you're having fun!
Tuesday I need to hit RE-SET. I did more nibbling while watching RocketMan than I had planned. Oh well...it happened and nothing much I can do about that but have an extra glass (or 2) of water.
Sleep well.......

Thanks for our start Ann. Each week will be better. June, breakfast is generally my fresh start for the day. I generally have an egg or yogurt with fruit and coffee. I have a dentist appointment at 10 and then will do the bills for DD and DH. DD prints them and I prepare the envelopes. I also mail them. Dinner will be leftover eggplant casserole, oven baked chicken and a salad

Each day a little better Ann. Glad you enjoyed the movie even if the snacks were slightly overdone How is R doing and how are classes going June? Audrey - Since I work out early most mornings, breakfast is a critical meal for me. I've only been home for barely 90 minutes so I am trying to wind down. Fortunately dinner was minimal prep and clean up.

Audrey Bet that eggplant dish will taste even better since the flavors have had a chance to marry. Thx for the giggle. The dentist's recepceptionist would have been surprised to see you this morning. I usually have eggs or Gk yogurt, too.
Susi Whew, that had to be some Labor Day at work. So glad that you had a plan together for an easy meal. Hope that you can unwind.
R is optimistic about his surgery. That is a blessing. As Lewis and Clark would write, we proceed on. Holiday weekend gave me time to grade, record, complete student progress reports, and do on. Have fingers crossed that the Chair will handle the mess w the other instructor's first assignment as promised.
Becky Love the image of us cruising in our lanes. What are you driving? I am driving my copper colored Escape, car dancing to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," with the windows down, sun shining, and fluffy clouds floating by in cornflower blue sky. (Weather is quite pleasant here in NE Oh). And I am singing, loudly, esp. the chorus.

Good morning, all!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
Additional prayers for all those in Hurricane Dorian's path...

DivaTaxi's done its morning run but there is no MHMR (MousekeHouse Morning Routine) yet - that should Thursday, the second day of school.
We spent quite a bit of money at ShopRite yesterday, including some meats that will go longer than this week. Since yesterday started out cool and rainy, I was willing to run the oven low and slow for some baby back ribs. Our "holiday BBQ" was delicious and we have L/O for another dinner. Tonight we'll have chicken leg (drum & thigh) and I also cooked up a couple of chicken breasts for lunches.
We didn't pick up the pole saw (so we didn't get the trees trimmed). Perhaps today. And I've got some phone calls to make. MissMouse will take the Mouseketeer to his 3 PM appt with DrK, and we will cover MousekeTWO.
Coffee time... βββ...
πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ

My day is over half over. I drove a friend to the hospital for a simple outpatient procedure. Picked her up at 8, they took her in at 10 and by noon she was still not back so her husband came to wait. No idea if they finished or not. More later...tired.
Oh...had two cookies then came home for lunch. Still on track and looking forward to an early night tonight

So busy at work today - but I left at 9:30 -took my lunch time and some extra and went to a WW wins workshop after joining again online yesterday. I'll hhave to work late today to make up for the extra time I took. Hopefully this will be just the thing to get me back in gear and stop the creep that's been creeping the past few weeks. It was actually ok. The weekly focused on slowing down when eating which is something I have trouble with. Will def work on that this week. DON'T put food in your mouth if you HAVE food in your mouth. I've heard many times but always a good reminder. Ann, glad no bad dreams and you are enjoy a beautiful day June, I plan to join you for a walk later Audrey, glad you realized the appt was another day before you went. I've done that before. The heat is getting to me too. So ready for fall. Susi, will the whole week be busy with tourists? Id imagine so. Take care. Becky, its so funny that staying in our lane has come up here...we've been saying it a lot at work...hope you are feeling better. MJ, sounds like you and Susi are well stocked. Cathy, so nice of you to help out your friend! good job staying OP Bee, hope your bible study is meaningful and healthy

Try to keep cool Audrey. Our weather is 79 however with the sun it feels hotter than that.
LaDonna love that tip. Thanks for sharing.
Took a very short walk then stopped and dropped off paperwork for our new PCP here in town.
I'm going to read/nap before supper.
