Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Nice cool sunny morning. I’m going to give walking a try later this morning. Foot is achy at times, but if it is just plantar fasciitis I wil just deal with it.
Laundry on the agenda this morning. Washing my white summer pants, getting them and light colored capris ready to pack away. I’ll keep my black and navy capris out in case it warms up enough to wear them to work. I don’t go in until 3 today so I can get a lot done.
I have a couple of books due at the library so I’ll stop there before or after work to drop them off. I’m going to order the blinds for my front window today. They run their 50% off sale quite often, if the blinds work out I’ll probably order some for my bedrooms and replace the shades.
Have a nice day.

I did post twice yesterday but posted on the weekend thread. I guess the holiday really messed me up on posting.
Joyce, freeze a water bottle and when you are sitting down roll your foot over it - really helps with the PF. Hope the new blinds work out ok, let us know.
Waving to Ruth.
Busy day - lots of running around to do.

Good afternoon. Just sort of marking my spot. Need to get ready to leave in a few and go to my first solo PT. They have someone there who will help me fill out a card on weights to use on the machines, etc.
We will be taking Mara home later today. Stan is going to try and get started on getting rid of the yellow jacket nest in DS’s front yard. They both got stung yesterday doing yard work. I wish he’d just hire a pro, but he’s so stubborn.
I’ll be back later!!!

Joyce, hope you were able to get a walk in. When I had PF I used the frozen bottle and also a stretch that I found on line. Both helped a lot. Except for the clothes I plan on bringing to Italy I have started packing my summer clothes away. I will have a few outfits from Italy that I can wear if the weather stays warm once we get home.
Ruth, hope Stan is successful with getting rid of the yellow jacket nests. When we have nests we usually wait till dark to deal with them. How was your PT session, hope it was helpful.
Busy day today. I did several loads of L but as we know it won’t be long till there is more to do. I picked up the euros that I ordered for the trip. I also made copies of our passports and the credit cards we are bringing. Bill and I won’t carry the same credit card and if one of us has our purse/wallet stolen we still have a card to use. We keep the copies I made in our suitcase and also in case of a problem we have all the information we need to report it to the company. I also packed my purse and most of my carry on. One of my friends lent me a purse that is supposed to be theft proof. It isn’t very big and I wanted to make sure the items I need to carry will fit in the purse.

Good (late) evening! We took Mara home about 7:00, then spent about 40 minutes cutting up brush from a free growth tree Stan is cutting down that is trying to grow into their foundation. Stan cut it the other day, so tonight we took a bunch of cutting implements and cut up the small branches and got them bagged up for trash pick up. But the time we got that done, it was almost dark and then they were able to sprinkle the stuff on the wasp nest w/o getting stung. DS will give it another treatment on Thursday night, just to make sure it’s gone!! And if need be, Stan will buy more stuff and hit it again this weekend. He priced having it done professionally, and it can get pretty pricey!!! So we’ll do it his way for now. I’m sure this was hard on DS’s back, it was mine a little. Harder on my feet just standing there working!!! I’m so happy we got it done for them tho.
PT was good today. The gal showed me how to use each machine, how to set them up, etc. l’ll do my 4 free sessions there, then switch to the Y which is free.
Dottie, we do similar things with the credit cards, licenses, passports, etc. when we travel. Have not tried each carrying a different card tho. We have 2 cards and just carry both of them. May have to try your trick.
I still haven’t gotten any of the clothing off the bed upstairs to put back in our closet. Maybe some tomorrow since we don’t have Mara until her bedtime. I’ll put my white capris away but will keep others out for a while. I don’t start wearing long pants until it’s way too cold to wear capris. I hate giving up my sandals too!!!
Ok, I’m going to bed shortly. Hoping for a good night’s sleep since I don’t have to listen for a little one. More tomorrow!
