WORK IT WEDNESDAY... I will strive for my usual daily goals... and need to plan accordingly, for a dinner out tonight! Not sure yet where we are going, but a few of us are taking another co-worker (different department) out for dinner, since her last day is this Friday! I sure am jealous... she is so "done" with everything she is just leaving. She has no other job lined up - she isn't even looking right away - she wants some time, maybe the whole winter, to just be home - get things done - and feel better about her "life"! HOW does one do that - these days? WOW! Anyway... in reality - I am not sure I am ready to be home all day - every day... but NOT having to be up and head in to punch a time clock sounds pretty darned good right now! Anyway... need to find out where we are going - and Make.A.Plan.!
Trackin' Tuesday went OK...
100 oz water ❌ (about 84) 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ✔️ No flour ❌ Flour tortilla taco for dinner! Journal ✔️ No eating after 7 ✔️
Feel like I caught up on some sleep too... not awake much during the night (that I remember)
OK Let me grab coffee and try to catch up!

Gabrielle: Woo Hoo for Track Tuesday - hope it didn't get too hot too early for ya'! I guess we need to pull our air fryer out again and see what we can do! Does yours have the wind up timer thing??
UGH yesterday was very "tense" at work... apparently Deb was "overheard" saying something inappropriate - "about" another co-worker(s)... and it was reported to HR. So she met with Crystal - then with Josh & Crystal... they won't tell her what was said/overheard... which IMHO is not fair. If she doesn't know what she said "wrong" how does she know not to do it again!?? Also was it really "inappropriate"? Or is that just what one person perceives it to be?? I mean seriously I got into "trouble" for "mocking" Kaitlin that time, so was it really "inappropriate"? Or was it just heard by a friend of Kaitlin's who is trying to make (more) trouble?!??
All I know is I put my ear buds in and tried to ignore the room!!
Today with Debbie out - I have to much work to deal with - that I will once again ignore the room and all that is going on... or at least try to!
Anyway - it's back to the feeling of the cliques in HS again - and I do not like it... I don't want to be involved in any side of it!!
LOL Yes Zoë went and met 2 new friends before they even got in the building... I'll have to try to share the pics Tracy took. Eden starts Monday, and I think her first MCAS is after 1st grade... but she is already aware of it coming!!
Sue: Hoping the traffic wasn't bad for you {{{hugs}}} always hard to head back to reality!
Lisa: Yikes - glad you can help the kids by lending a car... good thing you like to bike! LOL Well yeah - I think they would owe you ate least 1/2 month on your bill if they can't get out to fix it until then! Geeze! LOL Yes... I am that way too - see something and want it then wonder what will I do with it... sounds like good finds! YAY for biking to your church meeting. A good habit to get into!
Sue: OUCH... hopefully the back will "kick in" once you got home and slept in your own bed again! Oh dear... I thought it was just you and Jason staying with David this trip!! Sounds like it will be another busy weekend ahead for you... hope you can catch your breath before you head out!! At least Dorian will be through the Carolinas by then! They are not on the coast anyway - if I remember correctly... but has it impacted DB Jim flying in??
Shelly: Wakey - wakey, time to get to the gym! LOL Glad you are finding it easy enough to get there early mornings!
I was so surprised about no traffic and the beach area wasn't "Crowded"... I think Labor Day is a great time to be in RI!
Happy Birthday to DH! ♥

WORK IT WEDNESDAY... will "work" what I can... need to get back to walking away from my desk each hour... NEED to get more steps into my day... Today I have Dr. appointment - will discuss the PF and what she can do for me... hoping more then just PT, but will do what she tells me to do - I guess! Also need to discuss weight gain recently - and lack of sleep... I also have a "rash" behind my ears that bothers me off and on - not constant...I already KNOW what she will tell me about the sleep and weight gain... stop drinking alcohol and get moving! Even the intermittent fasting is not helping me to feel any better - or lose weight... so here I go again!!
Went for allergy injections yesterday - and now will go 5 weeks in a row, to get built back up to my "new" maintenance dose... I'm fine with it... leaving work at 4:15 one day a week for 5 weeks, isn't a bad thing! LOL
Now time to get moving... didn't leave early "enough" yesterday - got caught in 2 rounds of construction traffic... today I take the back road to avoid the 2nd stretch... but the 1st I cannot get around!!
Make the most of your WORK IT WEDNESDAY ladies ♥hugs♥

Good Morning ~ wow, I feel so out of the loop but did spend some time getting caught up here - Carole - Good Job Tracking!!! You are doing so well with keeping your goals in mind daily I have followed your lead...Yesterday I had Greek yogurt w/blueberries, almonds for a snack, tuna w/carrot sticks (no bread), nectarine, organic blue corn tortilla chips and WATER. Lots of water! Dinner was flour tortilla as I made enchiladas for Carly and I - we pack left overs for lunches - actually, I make a large salad over mine with a dollop of light sour cream. I made Hamburger Helper for DH (ewww - can't stand that stuff but he LOVES it) lol Gabrielle - I did get outside for about 2 hours weeding on Sunday. So so glad I finally got that done! Did you have any time to venture outside? I did finish my contract report - hooray! - and submitted it. Just received another...so Glad to hear Max took your cousin up on the offer for dinner Monday on the Holiday. Does the heart good to know he'll be okay and get this figured out. Our 1st Day of School with students was yesterday. Chaotic and busy but I think all the students enjoyed a good 1st Day! I think the Teachers did too! My dear close friend the School Nurse took a position with another school district. I actually encouraged her all the way as DL and the Prince were AWFUL to her for years! It's been very hard for her as she was at our little school for 10 years but we keep in close touch and she is finding the Positives in her new school district. Meanwhile, DL hired a new nurse OVER THE PHONE in August. Never brought the woman in to interview or show her around or nothing...crazy...just goes to show how CLUE LESS DL is about the school nurse role - I have always worked closely with the school nurses as part of my responsibilities especially regarding possible abuse, behavioral health issues, medications, and plans for medical disabilities (most are temporary but we still need a plan!) - so yesterday this new school nurse arrived to NO OFFICE!! LOL LOL LOL oops - no one thought to set up an office!!! I just can't stand it - I knew all along this was happening and all summer I kept asking the Prince what was the plan - he never answered. This poor woman arrived and had a fit! Not my circus...HR tried to pull me in thinking I was the nurse's direct supervisor but nooo the Prince took that on himself 2 years ago. So I kept telling the nurse to go see him - she did. And threatened to call the Dept of Health to shut us down for no restroom and no sink in the nurse's station! LOL He just stood there. Frozen. Then walked away. I caught glimpses of him wandering the building with hands in his pockets just walking...meanwhile I earned 10,000 steps in one day (for a desk job that's double what I do) Anyways, I am secretly enjoying watching this whole scenario play out -

Morning Carole, Christine and all to come...will be a whirlwind work week for me...only 2 days but 2 BUSY days...got a customer visit tomorrow which adds stress and will take probably 2 hours out of my day for making coffee, setting up the room, serving lunch, cleaning up, etc.....thankfully it is a short one and I will still be out on time to get home and get packed to leave again on Friday.
Will try to pop in tonight among the chores I need to get done. Pat will be here on Friday at 4:45 am so we need to be ready to go! Got the wash done last night so tonight I need to tackle the kitchen.
Today is our last "summer" day...will be almost 90 today and then low to mid 70's are coming with temps in the 50's overnight....glad it will be 80's in NC so I get a couple extra days!
Gotta run....need to order my free lunch from Panera before I leave for work!

Good morning!
Today is a DOR for these weary legs and thank goodness! Part of this training plan is training to run on "tired legs" because that is what you do for the last part of a marathon...I get it, but still appreciate some downtime. Wish that I had a nice stretching/pilates type of class though on Wednesdays to do something more gentle. I am sure that I could find something online---just not disciplined enough to do it yet. I will think about it though. It was so hot yesterday and our evening thing was outside (people were looking a little miserable with the heat). I got home at about 6:30 pm so not too late.
Carole: Oh, I can't wait to see the pictures of Zoe! Will check on FB. So glad that she made a couple of friends--so important to have that good first experience. Wow, sounds kind of tense at work. How did you hear what happened? Did Deb tell people? Eek, good idea to put the earbuds in and mind your own business. I don't remember how long that road construction near you is supposed to be going....are they trying to get it done before the weather turns? So glad that you have your doctor's appt today....sorry to hear that the intermittent fasting hasn't helped. I have to say, it really changed my way of looking at hunger -- I am still a fan (not on long run days though). I hope that you leave your appt today feeling heard and with a plan that makes you feel better. I seriously think that it is time to REALLY mix it up. Change some significant things so that you feel better---get Ken and Tracy on board to help you (I think that they are great about that)---and I don't just mean eating...something that makes your evenings nice and relaxing and sets things up for you to feel good when you head to bed. You deserve it! I felt like you started making changes when you put your foot down about some of the volunteering and hosting events at your house with no assistance--those were big things! I just want you to feel GOOD! Hoping that you get some direction/ideas today. Have a good day and hope that it is calmer at work and less like high school (uggh!)

Sue: So glad that you made it home okay and now you have another trip! So glad that the timing is working out where Dorian will not interfere. Have a good day today--it's tomorrow when you host a client right? Today then is hopefully more routine for you.
Christine: Wow about the new nurse! LOL, well that sounded interesting! No health office??? I have never heard of such a thing! OMG...I just LOST a long post here--oh man, what button did I push? Uggh. Now I am almost out of time. Oh well. Glad that you have the kids back. Will have to update you on DS19 later--darn!
Lisa: Good job getting out there on the bike! Who knows, maybe it will become your transportation of choice (when the weather is agreeable)? Nice that you were able to offer it up to DS!
Shelly: How did the workout go? Good for you for heading to bed early! I am guilty of not doing that...I hope that it works out for your trainer too--sounds like a nice perk for the community where you live. Happy birthday to DH!
Okay, need to go now. Need to thaw something for dinner--I think a pork tenderloin. I will be cooking artichokes in the instapot for sure and maybe some yams as well. Hope that you all have a good day today!

Feeling cruddy....heading to the recliner! Not sure what it is....think I'm just over tired and need a good night's sleep! MUST work tomorrow as there is a customer visit and I'm covering for Rita...no one else has a clue what to do so it's all me!
Hope all had a good day....sorry MIA but it's been a couple weeks of chaos! Hopefully after I get back from David's it will be more "normal" and I can pop in with more regularity!
Need to finish loading the dishwasher before I call it a night!

Evening. Came to bed so I could read and post then go to sleep. It’s already 9:40 though so not going to sleep early tonight. WO was good. I am really enjoying it!!! I don’t know why I ever stopped. I know for the past 2 years it’s been off and on with my help at work that was a lot of it and 2 years ago in mY I got sick with that tick bite. I think that was the start of it all then help and so on. I know was easy to use as an excuse but I’m trying to make changes. Baby steps I guess
Carole sorry about the tense moments at work. I can’t believe they won’t tell her what she said that was inappropriate. Yeah like you said was it really inappropriate or just someone’s feelings got hurt. Oh yes I would love to be able to just quite work and do nothing all winter. Hope your supper went well.
How was the Dr appointment?? I know I’ve been out of the loop but what is the PF you are talking about with the Dr? Hope they can make you feel better. I hear you. I get so frustrated with everything I try and no weight loss and stuff maybe we will get this figured out one of these days
Christine....WOW no office for the school nurse??? Sounds like she put them in their place. Hope it all goes well with here. Glad you are getting some more contract jobs.
Gabrielle glad you had a DOR today. Ugh that would be hard for me to run I’m tired legs. But if anyone can do it I know you can. I don’t do good on my own either. I usually just get lazy and no workout but you seem to usually find something to do. I wish I was motivated like you.
Sue hope you can get your stuff done and enjoy your time off this weekend!!! Hope you get to feeling better.
Ok off to go to sleep for tonight and might try to make it to the gym in the morning. We will see.
Night all!!!!!
