I'm IN.
It's the first day of school in our township (FiveBoyz, all three levels of education including a new high schooler, a new middle schooler, and three in elementary school including the youngest one heading to the first day of kindergarten). I've already been out to do a drive-by at Son#1's house, to "make sure the lights are on" - at his request after taking him to the train.
I don't have MHMR until tomorrow but I do have a list for MY "last day of summer vacation", LOL.
And a full pot of coffee... βββ...
πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ

Good morning Diva and all who follow Happy first day of school for your grands diva49 , Working from home as my office is closed due to the storm. Did lose power overnight, but not for very long. Just enough to be annoying with fixing appliance clocks. Right now getting a lot of rain and wind, at least where I live. We should see the worse of Dorian today as it passes by Jax - later this afternoon, early evening Have a wonderful day!

diva49, congrats on getting all of the kids into school. Maybe your spreadsheet will calm down a little. Enjoy the coffee! I'm making a Costco run and later I will meet a physical therapist today for the first time. They are going to teach me some knee strengthening exercises so I'm interested to learn something new to help my achy knees.

So true DebDoesWW! I woke and couldn't figure out if it went by or not, we had some heavy rain and wind in the middle of the night. I watched the local news this morning and we are starting to feel the effects of the storm and they gave a better timeline of when it will pass by our area. Thanks for all the good thoughts!

pamthomas46, DH has had 2 cataract surgeries and all went well. The biggest decision is whether your surgeon will use something other than a clear lens. There are many options now for different lenses so you might not need glasses at all. It also depends on your insurance because Medicare will only pay for a plain lens. I have friends who got 2 different lenses for each eye; one lens for distance, the other is close up so they don't need glasses. Good luck!

dina,-sending lots of love and prayers. Be safe pamthomas46,-good luck with the surgery. Having a rough time emotionally and not totally sure why. Think it's the BC pill. Went off it for a few months to see if my cycle would stop. NOPE. So this is the first cycle back on it. Going to give it a few months before we decide to try something different. I wanted my tubes tied over the summer but waited too long, so now I know to make an appointment in March for June! Stay safe everyone
