Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Another nice morning, temps in the 50s.
Will continue to set aside summer clothes, bring out my 3/4 sleeve tops to wear to work.
Ruth - my mini trip is to Lancaster, PA ... to see āJesusā at the Sight and Sound theater, visit Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, visit a huge 41000 sq foot gift shop, and 2 great places to eat. Leaving Monday morning, returning Wednesday night. Quick getaway.
Need to schedule an appointment with health insurance rep for next week, to finalize everything for my Medicare and supplemental insurance and sign up for Epic. Will be glad when thatās done. All of my doctors and specialists and my dentist are part of my new plan so no need to look for new ones.
Heading out for my walk, then to get started on my agenda.
Enjoy your day

Good morning all. Joy, I thought Hershey was involved, but couldnāt remember for sure. My female cousins (the ones I got to visit with last summer) take a trip each summer, all together, somewhere in the US. A couple years ago they went to Hershey. They loved it. Hope you enjoy your trip.
You are doing so well with your CBāing. I got a card for a truck in our area on Monday the 9th I think. I should sign up and get rid of more stuff from the basement. I know Iāll have more stuff as I deal with all the clothes still upstairs. I have some menās clothing I should take to the place that gives them out to men going out to work for the first time.
Mara slept all night and Stan had trouble sleeping and he slept in this morning. I let Maggie out and fed her and got Mara up and gave her a cup of milk. As soon as they were done, they both headed to our bedroom door (closed) and Maggie started whining and Mara started hollering, āPAPAā!!!! Poor guy didnāt Stan a chance! Neither one could be deterred so Papa got up. Meant to mention earlier. DS Carol fell on Saturday night. Tripped on their sidewalk coming back from a walk. Nothing broken thankfully, but sheās really sore. She landed on her knees and shoulder and then her face. She went to the ER twice, first time for some bleeding; then because her shoulder was so sore she couldn't even flush the toilet. She has a black eye. She still got chemo on Tuesday and just is getting the ātake homeā container disconnected. Her oncologist said if her shoulder didnāt get better to go to an orthopedic surgeon. Not that he doesnāt trust the ER to read an x-ray, but........ I donāt know what sheāll do yet. But sheās sure in rough shape.
No big plans here. I have noticed my kitchen pantry cabinet is becoming a real mess. I may work on that while Mara naps today. I canāt do it while sheās up because sheās into everything. But would be a good naptime project. Papa may take a nap with her.
Hope everyone has a great day. Will check in later.

Joyce, Iām sure you will enjoy your get away. I read that the play you are going to see will stop later this year, so it is great that you are going to be able to go see it. Have a good time.
Ruth, we stayed in a condo for a week when we went to Hawaii and were able to do L there. The hotels we stayed at had washer/dryers but not as convenient as the condo. Made packing so much easier. We have to rely on the hotel to do our L if we need anything washed and that isnāt cheap. I have seen some of the mustard yellow clothes, Iām not sure who that would look good on, not me. Great buy on the new tops. Sorry to hear about Carol, hope she heals quickly.
About the wedding dresses. When my mom died there was a closet that had 13 bridesmaid dresses in it. Both of my sisters and I had our wedding gowns but we had all been in weddings so there were all the dresses My brother suggested that we donate them to his church, they put on several shows a year and were always looking for clothes for the shows. So that was an easy way to deal with the problem. I started my packing, so far so good. Everything fits in the suitcase and there is still room. I think my back pack might be a problem. Bill thinks Iām taking too much stuff in the back pack, but I have my make-up bag, pills, hearing aid kit, jewelry, head phones ā will use them to help sleep with, some snacks and a light weight jacket. It all fits but is a little heavy.
