Feeling almost back to normal this morning. Awareness glasses in place relative to food choices. Laundry has been started and working on the kitchen is next. Tracking every bite lick and taste, meal planning, and hydrating will be key. Have a healthy day everyone.

Pam Happy to hear that you are feeling like "you." Those bites, licks, and tastes can get ya! My tasting spoon, for example, is usually a bigger one!

Audrey I'm glad you enjoyed dinner and didn't have to wait long.A peach summer salad sounds good.Enjoy your time with Leo and Nora.
Cathy Willing and aware are always good goals.I haven't heard from my brother since the day of her surgery. We have never been a close family and not close at all since parents are gone.If it weren't for Facebook I wouldn't know what is happening with 2 of my brothers and their families. It is sad really.
MJ You and I must be on the same wake up schedule. It seems like I'm always awake by 5:00.I hope you enjoyed the workshop.
June If I didn't have the TV on while biking no way I could do a 45 minute ride.It would be too boring. Thanks for the prayers and the hug.How is your mom?
Ann I'm glad you slept well.I wish someone could send us rain. It's 100 at 3:15 again so we may make it to 103 again like yesterday.Hopefully only one more day of 100 degrees tomorrow and then high 90's with a small chance of rain for most of next week. When I say small chance I'm talking 20-30% each day for 4 days starting Mon or Tues and not much rain expected at that.

LaDonna I'm glad you enjoyed your Friday night with your friend.Yes it is hot again today.I'm hoping the end of September will bring some rain.
June I hope you enjoyed your walk.I am so glad R's surgery will be paid for by insurance. That has to be a big relief.
Ann Yea on the loss. Now that the antibiotics are out of your system you will more than likely stay in your happy zone.
Susi I hope you have a good trip.
Pam I'm glad you are feeling better.
I finally went and had my hair cut by my regular stylist. She said Kenneth didn't do a bad job.She didn't say he did a good job either.LOL.She did give him an A for effort.I told her I needed an A for letting him even try.Hopefully this will be my last short summer haircut for the year.

Becky, you are so brave. I would never let my husband put scissors to my hair.

Becky Agreed. Without some distraction biking indoors is boring. Mom is good. She's happy that football season is finally here.
LOL Must have been hair cutting day. I had mine whacked about 4 inches. Looks shorter because the curl in my hair rolled the ends under naturally.

Audrey The hair on my neck always grows longer than my regular hair and he usually just uses the electric hair cutting razor on that. This time he said if I just wanted a trim in the back he would try and he really didn't do a bad job.It just wasn't straight. My hair on top was getting longer and thicker than I liked so I decided to go in and get it cut and let my regular stylist shape it up in back.I doubt I would give him access to my hair again but if it had worked it would have saved some money.
June I wish I had curls in my hair.Mine is naturally straight. At one time I took a medication and it made me lose hair in the back but it would grow back wavy.Years after I quit taking it the hair would still do the same thing.I don't know how many stylists asked if I had naturally curly hair and I would tell him it was naturally straight. It doesn't do that anymore though.

LOL Must have been hair cutting day. Indeed! I had mine chopped when I took the Kressling for his cut - the same barber does us both. She is no longer surprised, and even remembered that I use a shorter guard on the back than the Kressling does.
