Winter can be a difficult time to motivate yourself to exercise when perhaps all you want to do is hibernate on your sofa till Spring. So let's join together and encourage and cheer each other on with our fitness goals! Warm weather will be here before we know it and we want to be in shape to enjoy it!
WELCOME EVERYONE anytime and yes you can walk/jog/run or combo, cycling, spinning, swimming, aerobic classes, elliptical machine, yoga, pilates, strength train and core work too!
Each week you set and post your own attainable mileage/minutes goal and strive to achieve it. Saturday thru Friday is our fitness week with Saturday morning weigh-ins (WI). WIs are encouraged but optional. There is no judgement here!
This challenge runs from January 1 to March 20.

Good morning! It's Wednesday and today's challenge is to work those abs! That's right, gimme 64 situps/crunches! Huah!

Mon -OP day
Tues -at least 5 servings fruits&veggies Wed -work those abs
Thurs -2 healthy oils
Fri -journal it
Sat -at least 6 servings water

Hello! I made it to the gym last night for spinning class and plan on a repeat performance this evening plus weight lifting. That is, if nothing gets in the way.
Dang if I didn't lose a piece of a molar last night! I don't even know when, just was finishing dinner and felt a hole in last upper right molar! I didn't even hear or feel it break! Arg! It doesn't hurt but it's disturbing. I've called the dentist, they're calling me back after their morning meeting so cross your fingers that they can squeeze me in today.

Debbie thanks for start. I almost did too cause I saw Tuesday in the title...lol But then noticed Wednesday Abs!! Yea for ab work. I so need it.
Gee on your tooth Debbie. I hope you can get in quickly. WTG on making the spinning class. How is your ankle feeling?

Found out Monday that Maddie has torn her other knee. So another surgery is in her future. I am so bummed about it. Debbie I have your luck on things going wrong.
Steps have been down the past two days, but will work on them today.

Brenda, so sorry for poor Maddie! How did she tear her knees? I guess I didn't realize pets had to deal with those kind of problems just like people!

Well, I got a cap on my tooth. And I'll be getting another cap in 3 weeks as the tooth next to the one that broke is cracking. I just got my tax refund so might as well get both taken care of while I have the cash. Some day I'll get to spend a tax refund on something fun!
My foot is achy today and now my face is too so I'm thinking I may just go home after work. Maybe pick up some soup from Wegman's and take it easy. Then tomorrow I'll hit the gym for spinning and weights. The weather is changing. We expect a 30+ drop in the temperature to be accompanied by storms. The pressure changes may be why my foot is achy and the dentist trip more achy.
In spite of my whining and pity-party, I am glad to get the teeth capped as it's replacing those awful old silver fillings with the nice new caps. My dentist is really into the latest technology and was able to prep, manufacture the new crown and install it all in his office in just a couple of hours! I've gotten several new crowns in recent years and I have to say that they were worth the money and hassle! And I am lucky I happen to have a little extra money at the moment to pay for the crowns.
