I guess i'm not friends with Wendy or Oprah. Did not get either of those emails. Not that I would go but it sure would be nice to be invited LOL not going to spend that hundred dollars on something else

dar1965, Heard tonight at my WW meeting that for the event in Brooklyn the tickets start at $70 and for $2500 you can meet with Oprah and have one picture taken with her.

Good Grief. I wonder if WW get the money, or Oprah does.
I sure hope people are smart enough to hold on to their cash.

$2500! I definitely would not spend that kind of $ to listen to anyone speaking. Okay okay there are some people that are long gone did I would love to have another conversation with. But definitely not Oprah. And I'm not sitting in the nosebleed section of Chase Center for $100 no wonder why people on Kinect are slamming the prices. Some members at my meeting on Sunday we're saying let's parlay our money go do something more interesting

I recently saw Hugh Jackman and he came off the stage and played with the people in the front rows....now, I’d probably pay $2500 for him to sit on my lap 😂

I never caught the Oprah bug plus I'm pretty turned off on anything WW these days.

I agree with you bbbearsmom . I still like the points system but I track on itrackbites.I have cancelled my WW digital subscription(although they have given me a free month every time I have cancelled for the last 3 months) as I feel these outrageous prices for her tour to be a total waste of money.)I also agree with Rad.I'd like to know if Oprah gets the money or WW does. I also haven't been doing freestyle so it makes no sense to keep the app unless I go to meetings and do freestyle.

I suspect Oprah receives no money but any of this could affect the WW stocks which could benefit Oprah.

I suspect Oprah receives no money but any of this could affect the WW stocks which could benefit Oprah. I’d bet the money gets slip several ways: WW, Oprah, promoters, organizers, ticketing agency. I had to use Chat to get a code this morning: apparently the WW love didn’t extend to sending me an invite either. When I went to the ticketing site, the lowest price currently avaialble was over $500. Tickets started at $79 but either all sold out or are being reserved until the public availability opens on Friday. Of course I, too, have no interest in spending a day with WW and Oprah.

I got both emails with the invite and the code but deleted both promptly. They are going crazy on the official WW FB page. You can also pm them on there and they will send you a code.I don't remember if it's by email or pm.I can't believe so many of them are actually going but they all seem to think WW and Oprah were the only reasons they lost weight.

Actually, when Oprah was last here and tickets were released, it was the same kinda deal, high priced tickets, and astronomically high prices for a meeting with her before the show. However, as the date got closer and tickets weren’t selling, they were going for $45 at one stage. There were gift bags when you arrived. The more expensive your seat purchase, the more extravagant the gift bag.
Unfortunately, no one walked away with a car!

Well, I guess Mindy and I are now friends. She sent me an email thanking me for letting her in my inbox....🙄
Then went on to regurt weight watchers old, moderation, exercise and accept philosophy.
It (not) so nice to see her there.
Still waiting for my Oprah code I think at this point it's hopeless
