Plans for the weekend? Do you organize your week over the weekend?
Any special things you do for you?

This weekend hubby and I are going to the opening of a new exhibit at Nabu Museum and will stay for the Vivaldi Four Seasons concert that begins at 8. We will talk to children and granddaughters on Sunday evening.
Nothing special I do for myself

Nothing special going on here this weekend at all. I will go to church this afternoon, I'm not sure that DH will feel like going, he is still recovering from his fall. He is getting better, slowly. Other than that, just hanging out around the house.

Nothing special for me either on the weekends. My son should be coming Sunday afternoon and we'll watch some recorded TV shows that have been waiting for quite some time. They are ones that I like to watch but I wait until he can watch them too.
I'll be going to Mass in town late this afternoon and will also pick up a few groceries, mostly fresh fruit. My week is all mine to do whatever I want, so I don't usually plan anything unless I have an appointment in town.

Same as most weekends - we had a volunteer visit with the dogs this afternoon. Weather hasn't allowed for walking with the dogs today (random rain showers). Went grocery shopping this morning. Will continue to clean and sort to take things to the thrift stores. Probably watch sports on TV with DH. Baseball this evening, football on Sunday.

Celebrating dh’s birthday this weekend. We started with brunch with family today. I’m taking care of myself with making healthy choices, tracking and hydrating and getting in steps. Tomorrow will be a repeat.

Today (Saturday) was my food bank day. After that, I did a bit of weeding. I have a little bit of cleanup to do around the greenhouse still. might try to do that on Sunday afternoon. My main chore on Sunday is to go and get some cat food. Cinder has enough for breakfast and that is it. I don't think I need many groceries this week- have lots of fruit after picking plums and pears on Friday and got 2 bags of grapes today.

cathygeha , I LOVE Vivaldi! I'm sure you enjoyed the concert!
Ladies, in this morning's email came an article from WW about medications that can affect weight loss. Here's the URL: www.weightwatchers.com/us/article/medication-and-weight-gain?utm_medium=marketingemail&utm_source=active_digital_naco&utm_campaign=15092019&utm_content=us_newsletter_link2&utm_term=masthead
Let me know if you can't get to it; I can do a copy and paste here if necessary.
Yesterday was terrific! One of my students (a somewhat difficult special ed student) did a great job of confidently leading parts of the Sabbath morning service (on his journey to "manhood"). His party last evening was enormous fun (and delicious food!). Today looks interesting: after services this morning, there is a meeting about becoming a "buddy" for a 7th grader so s/he will understand what to expect at weekday morning services (the 7th graders spend the first hour or so of Sunday school with the adults in services about once a month; they go to regular Sabbath services with their own families).
And once again, thank you for letting me drop in even though I can't get here all the time. You're my last connection with SF...

Great day yesterday although Paul struggled with stomach issues all afternoon. He slept in today and I brought him home coffee and breakfast. He’s feeling better today but taking it easy. Relaxing this afternoon as I watch football.

Holly - We left before the concert began. Information was that the sculpture/exhibition opened at 6:30 and the concert would begin at 8:00. We were there a bit before opening and waited and waited outside in the garden with the sculptures and a crowd and were not allowed into the museum at all. Waiting for the first lady. She and her body guards and entourage arrived at 7:30. There were photographs and a viewing of EVERY sculpture and sculptors to talk to and more so by 7:45 with no sign of the gates ever opening and no assurance that there would be chairs to sit on for the Vivaldi performance....I opted to leave and hubby didn't seem to mind. He likes to go for the "people" but he didn't know anyone and talked to nobody so...he was ready. I sent him a youtube link to listen to the music that would have been played.
I did find that the time I started gaining weight was in fact the time I started taking metoprolol...I kind of wondered. Now...to not let that medicine keep me from losing back to goal weight!
