Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Ruth - it’s tough trying to find a missing stitch. Sorry you have to start that cowl from scratch again. Glad you were able to take the pillow back to BBB. Their return policy is great. I often wonder what happens to items that are returned but can’t be reused, like pillows and makeup.
Yeah, I was surprised that they left me all the work, even simple filing. I always make sure I take care of coworkers stuff when they are on vacation. And from what they told me, it wasn’t that busy. Oh well.
See ya later.

Good morning,
I’m going to the grocery store later this morning to pick up a rotisserie chicken and meal prep for the week. I need to get back on my routine. And I’ll make some breakfast muffins, apple and pumpkin. I can freeze them, nice grab n go snack or a quick breakfast.
Will be watching the Bills game this afternoon. It would be nice to win on the road.
Laundry is also on today’s agenda.
Hope you are both having a nice weekend. Later...

Good morning. Up early since the cleaning lady is coming while we are off to WW and breakfast out with DS/DIL. I need to get Stan up soon and then after I’m ready, get Mara up and ready. Then home after to watch the VIKES. No other big plans for the day. Hoping to be down over 3 lbs. at WI. Will report in after the meeting. Had a good week. Cutting out ice cream, root beer (my favorite) and cutting down on snacking has all made a big difference. Have a good day all.

Good evening from Italy. The trip so far has been wonderful but very tiring. Tonight we are in Florence and tomorrow we tour the town of Florence and in the evening we are going to dinner at a villa in Tuscany. Things have been going fine but it is go - go - go. Bill and I are skipping the afternoon tour tomorrow because I need to catch on my rest. So far I have been getting lots of steps in every day and there are lots of hills around. Internet connections are very spotty so I want to cut this short but wanted to let you know that I'm enjoying Italy. Don't know if I will be able to check in again, but will try.

Dottie - happy you were able to check in, glad you are enjoying Italy. DB and DSIL really enjoyed Tuscany.
The Bills won their game today. It’s nice to have 2 wins, especially since they were road games. Next week is the home opener, hope the weather is as nice as these past 2 Sundays have been.
Still have another load of laundry to do, that will keep me busy for a while.
See ya tomorrow

Good evening all. Dottie, so happy you could check in. Sounds like a great trip!!! Will look forward to hearing more about it when you are home.
Joy, VIKES lost today to the PACKERS~~~. Ugh!!! Oh well. At least it’s wasn’t our beloved hockey!!! Can’t wait for that season to start. They are in training camp. Joy, who did the Sabres get to coach when they fired Housley?
Well this morning was weird!! Just as we pulled into the shopping center where the WW meeting is held, Mara threw up. No milk (although she’d had her cup full), but the peanut butter sandwich she demanded right before we left. Weird! Anyway, while Stan ran in to get weighed (he lost 8 lbs, took off his shoes for the first time ever, got him back into Lifetime); I cleaned up Mara as well as I could. He came out, I went in and got weighed. Got to get a hug from our leader we love! I LOST 4.6 lbs! I was thrilled. We ran home and cleaned up Mara, changed her clothes, Stan cleaned the buckle on her car seat and Mara charmed the cleaning lady. Cleaning lady said, “you are so cute” to Mara, and then Mara went around saying, “so cute”!!! We took her and went to breakfast to kill more time, then home and let her play in the back yard. I was thrilled with what I lost, but DH had told me he thought he’d lose 1-2 lbs. Apparently he forgot what his weight was last week, so he was surprised with his loss. Just drives me crazy how men can lose more than women. He gets 2 pts more than I do a day, and he seems to be eating constantly!!! Oh well!
will be back tomorrow!
