Good morning, and thank you for starting us Suzanne.
The new journal/planner is here and I have started on my storyboard and action plan. Step number 1 was making an appointment with a foot surgeon. We will see what roads it leads me down from there.
Daily Affirmation - My guardian angels are here for me.
Fitness Report - Pilates at PT last night.
Health Goal - plant based foods today, and a healthy attitude.

Good Morning! Happy Hump Day.
Lisa: I am so sorry to hear of the situation with your DH's sister. Unfortunately, I know this situation all too intimately and I wish I had the answer for her (and you). Its very sad to watch and very hard for everyone.
I, too, have been on an eating binge these last few nights. I don't know why. Carbs. Sugar (seriously, brown sugar, straight from the bag - I am counting the calories ). I don't have a problem with alcohol; mine is with sugar! Seriously. I've got to get a handle on it. I'm getting over a cold and I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I am just constantly hungry. I start the day out well, but by late afternoon, I'm starving. I eat a very healthy dinner but, after that, for whatever reason, I'm starving. Its like my metabolism has zinged out! Maybe I'm "feeding the cold"?
I wish I really could get by with just the paper calendar but I'm not sure it'll work. I do rely on my calendar syncing to my computer, my iPad and my cell-phone. Even tho I can't stand reading it on my cell phone. (I'm using the default Apple calendars).
Pat: The sore throat is gone; you're right - sore throats are awful. The cold is going thru its usual stages. I was so hopeful that I'd wake up this morning and feel well enough to go to my dance class. I didn't. I am really missing that class. I'm wondering if my lack of exercise this week is affecting my disposition and my appetite. I've not worked out since Saturday (except for Tai Chi which, this week, hardly counted).
Let me know how the calendar is working out. Are you using it for personal and work?

I'm glad your sore throat is mended up, Suzanne. Yes I'm using the planner as a combined business/personal - I'm so scattered that it's making me feel depressed. I think I will feel a little "safer" having everything organized.
Lisa - I went back to read yesterday's discussion - I'm so sorry about your SIL. How is your niece doing?

Pat, I can relate! I get anxiety when I'm not organized. I do well with google calendar to track everything! I literally fill in every hour daily. Then I use the tasks on the side to list my 'to do's' and I have several google keep notes to keep track of shopping lists, and all sorts of things like book recommendations, projects, party planning, dinners for the week, etc. Can you tell I'm a type A? ?? hahaha! My niece is still the same. My SIL isn't sharing any info, I'm not sure why. It's been really slow process. I just keep thinking positive things. Yes, the addictions are tough! We have such a large family who will all pitch in to help but when same person repeatedly makes really poor choices, it's really hard to keep up the help. We told her if she helps herself as in checking into a program, we will try and help her with a budget program, and help her move, yada, yada. She must make the first move tho. And she also has to get rid of her 5 animals, and stop paying for all her adult childrens phones, insurance, etc. She makes a lot fo money and has nothing to show for it... sorry to vent!!!!!!!!!!!!! She makes me crazy! Off to garden club to plant up our geraniums, canna and winter sow some stuff. Later, gaters!
