MONDAY MINDSET was a perfect way to get myself back on track... I made myself take a break - which is when I journal. I only took "healthy" snacks/food to work... but I also kept my mind on what I need to do - for me!
100 oz water ✔️ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ✔️ No flour ✔️ Journal ✔️ No eating after 7 ✔️
Now to move to TRACKIN' TUESDAY... with the same goals in mind! Today after work I go for my injections - then I head over to Tim & Jaclyn's to babysit Eden while they attend a church meeting. So I need to figure out a dinner plan for between injections and babysitting... hmmmm.... Not sure how much time I will have - but will figure it out, when I can!!
I was pleasantly "surprised" yesterday, when I got on the scale! I was DOWN 3# since Sunday! ONE DAY! LOL Of course, not only did I start the water pill, but I also didn't feel well part of the day - so certainly didn't overeat! So - wondering what a day of normal (good) eating will do while on this pill!
No word on my sleep study (yet), wonder who I need to call/message about that... I'll check my patient portal later today - and see if there is anything in there yet!
OK kinda chilly in here this morning (45 outside- 66 inside) - gotta go grab my sweatshirt and coffee... will BRB ♥

Christine: Ahhhh, we barely get to the 70s these days... but sitting in my car with the sun shining in - feels GREAT! Sorry - have to LOL at your DM expecting sister to have wine supplies on hand! My sisters - who do not drink - would have nothing like that either... I bring my own!! GMTA - I just asked Tracy about pedicures this Saturday!
LOL Our meatloaf was good last night too! They also made potatoes but I guess a scoop of potatoes is better than some stuff I could have eaten last night! LOL
Oops, Carly better bump up the Emergenc-Y! I had Eden last night - she is coughing TERRIBLY - so I will be taking that Emerg-Y Stuff today!
Yes - thank you - Saturday was a long day - but time well spent!
Yikes - hopefully the poison ivy winds down soon! Good luck finding the source! DH too? Good luck!
Sue: Hopefully you found something for lunch yesterday... and hoping you did get a good night's sleep last night... yes it was an emotionally draining week for you! Between last weekend, and this weekend... you had a lot on your plate!
Gabrielle: OH NO! Yes all that commotion would certainly "ruin" a good nights sleep! YAY For you pushing through for TM time! Hope your trip to SAC was uneventful, even in the rain. Whew... glad the light rain won't impact the harvest! Did DH have good luck getting a crew hired on for this year??
We are in apple season - so many Jamaican (?) folks around here now. Same ones come every year... I used to "know" them year to year - cashing paychecks! LOL
Well I had to pay full price for my PT before my deductible... but now that I have met that - I assume I won't have to pay... won't know for sure until I can get IN! UGH! They are so backed up with appointments! I had appointments for 9/30 and 10/7, but needed to cancel them - since those are the days of the retirement seminars... so now I have only 1 scheduled... 10/2! Sent message yesterday to schedule more - have to call I guess!
Lisa: YAY for having your car back! LOL I guess it would be hard to do much shopping on a bike! Hoping you get that call for work - now that the 2 weeks has gone by!
LOL Yes, we went to this seminar 11 years ago - they suggest you go when you turn 50 and then again as you get "closer" to retirement... I could wait another few years - but I want to go NOW... so yeah, I'll take the 2 days "off" with pay... think we have decided to go down the night before... if we wait until that morning - we will have to be up at like 4 AM to get ready to be on the road around 6... not knowing traffic - rush hour - commute to Boston... Ken is looking at hotels!
Good luck with your bike repairs...
Shelly: WOO HOO for getting out of town! Sounds like a busy - whirlwind trip, but SO Happy for you... getting away... seeing the kids... YAY!
Sue: Bet you slept well last night! {{{hugs}}}
Shelly: UGH To internet issues... ours is as slow as molasses these days! Still in line for the new higher speed to come through in 2020... fingers crossed!
WOW - going the protein route, huh!?? LOL Good for you - I have been doing well, when I pack the right foods... I do not "Snack" a lot... if I don't bring it I can't eat it!! This Thursday we are having a "waffle bar" for the September birthdays... good news is, there will be a bunch of people and probably only 1 maybe 2 waffle makers... so I will stay in the background and wait... maybe by the time it's my turn I won't be that "hungry" for one... will have my usual protein bar or shake and call it good enough!
Good luck getting to the gym this morning... better be up and ready to go by now?! What time do you have to go??
Sorry you lose your housekeeper for the next couple of weeks... it'll get done!!

Good Morning ~ slept fairly well until those darn leg cramps woke me - grrr - and yes, I am eating a banana each day and added fresh potatoes to my diet again but it's so hard when we've been told those 2 foods are too starchy for the diet! What to do...I do NOT like sweet potatoes so that option is out...will have to look what am I missing in my daily nutrition? I am not tracking my water but I do know I'm over 100 oz a day thanks to our Brita water fountains at work and my double size water bottle I refill constantly. Even the students now know that is my water bottle and offer to refill it for me during busy times! lol
4 more days of after school child care...
It's actually getting easier - I think the students are adjusting to hanging out with us for hours - I even started a fun game with the 1st graders to think of a food that begins with...a letter of the alphabet, in order...some stop me in the halls and share a new food they thought of! It's really about getting them to connect letter sounds with words and items but many struggle at this age to recognize it just yet -
Today I have a few Parent Meetings mixed in with still trying to tackle the school wide benchmarking. The Teachers for the most part have been very flexible and understanding - probably tired of seeing me stand at the door - lol
Re-doing ALL our laundry here. DH is convinced, absolutely positively convinced, he is breaking out in a rash all over his body from Arm & Hammer Laundry detergent I purchased on sale about 3 weeks ago. It's fragrance free. I can't understand but I'm willing to prove that it's not the cause - even though we have never had it before - hmmm...don't you hate it when they're right? lol

OK Time to get moving here... need to throw my salad together (again) - by the time I got home last night and finished dinner... I just didn't feel like doing it! UGH! Gotta get in that habit! WHY do I make this so hard on myself?!?? Especially today - need to get to work early - so I can leave early, for injections... if I play my cards right this week, and take short lunches I can get out Friday at 2. Planning a small dinner with friends - before they head back to FL in October... Trying to decide if I want them HERE, or if we should go OUT... here would be nicer - in terms of visiting, but MAN My house is so not "ready" for company! Need to figure it out ASAP though... good news is we have the date and time - I told them I'd get back to them with the plan! LOL
PAVING IS COMPLETED! WOO HOO!!! LOL ! Yesterday there was not ONE single stretch of construction going on! I know they still have the shoulder work and guard rails to do - but it won't be anything like the paving was! So I am back to my normal commute... which still can be anywhere from 25 minutes to 45 depending on the darned traffic!!
Anyway... TRACKIN' TUESDAY... I will track in my journal, and will try to get it tracked in MFP as well!
♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Track Tuesday here and I SHOULD be tracking too!!! Who knows, maybe today will be the day! I have not tracked in so long--it's crazy too since I do measure most of what I eat. Think it might be time....nice and cool this morning but we had more rain than expected yesterday. DH isn't too worried about it as long as it doesn't heat up too quickly now---I don't think it will. He'll be watching the thermometer though. The harvest starts tomorrow night and goes through Tuesday. All of our buyers seem to want their grapes at the same time so it is working well with getting the laborers here and working.....
Carole: Dinner with friends on Friday? Sounds fun! I agree though that it might be more relaxing (for them) to have it at your house. I wonder if you can buy some prepared items to have along with a main course? Then you can have your time to clean up, etc. and feel good about it? Yay for the paving being done! That sounded so annoying with traffic, etc. We have alot of that going on around here too while the weather is right. So you have laborers from Jamaica? That is interesting! Most of ours are from Mexico...but have lived here for years and working in the orchards/vineyards is what they want to do. They have to be skilled to do it (trained) and reliable. Hope that you have a good day today and can get a few more PT appts scheduled---they are hard to get when limited to before and after work.....
Christine: That is so odd about the laundry soap! Sounds like you have an experiment going on, LOL. Yay for a few more days of child care and what a great idea for a game for the kids! Sorry about the leg cramps....sounds really painful. Is your poison ivy rash any better? I have gotten poison oak about 50% of the time from cats or dogs....they are definitely carriers of the oils! Hope that you have a good day.

Lisa: Yay for having your car back! Sounds like a good idea to wait to make that call about the job---it always seems like "forever" to us until we think about the other person's situation. Hope that you get something soon now that you have your car. Good job on the walking with DH---good for both of you! Hope that you get your bike fixed...love hearing about your rides.
Shelly: Yay for your drive to see the kids!! Such a beautiful time of year for it too. I wish that I was going to be in NV that week....would love to see you!! Keep up the good work with the gym and the eating--hope that you are feeling stronger.
Okay, gotta get a move on. Like Carole, I did not make my salad last night and need to before Track. I was SO tired after my lack of sleep the night before. Have a good day ladies--trying a chicken breast recipe tonight for dinner...DS20 heads back tomorrow night so this is our last dinner for a while .

Hey all. Getting on later than I had planned. My trainers wife asked me to do a favor so I had to come home and type up their Herbal Life Smoothie recipes for her and type a second one that was just a menu for customers. I had a sample of a pumpkin smoothie and Oh My Goodness it was yummy!!! So I finally got that done.
Didn’t make the gym this morning but did get there after work. Later than I wanted but was trying to get stuff done. Oh and Lane (boss) was in and out driving me crazy. Still lots to do before we leave
Carole thanks for messaging me this morning. I should’ve been up way before I finally got out of bed. Just kept hitting snooze while I watched the news. Funny how I get up to train but won’t get up early to WO on my own.
Your meatloaf and everyone else talking about meatloaf makes me want to make one. My last one was not very good but I can definitely do better. Was trying to not use breadcrumbs or crackers because I was following keto kinda. Oh the protein shakes I have was from the keto plan I was following. Called for at least one shake a day so trying to use it up. Oh I love waffles. That would be a tough one to resist.
Good job on being down. I am sure I will be up in the morning. Breakfast was 2 eggs and some breakfast chops but lunch was bad...a hamburger and fries. It was the special of one of our restaurants and they are the best burgers ever. They only make them once a week. It’s an Italian place and they have a lunch special and burger day is one of their best ones.
Oh I would love to trade you weather. We have been in the 90’s. I’m ready to go to NV. Highs in the 70’s.
Christine glad things are getting easier with the kiddos after school. I’m sure you will be glad when it’s over though.
So sorry about the poison ivy and DH mysterious rash. I hope you are able to prove to him it’s not the laundry soap. Yes I hate when they are right lol
Gabrielle oh I wish we had enough time to meet up but I understand. It’s hard this time of year and we actually are only in NV like 4 or 5 days. Too much time on the road. Someday I hope.
Sue hope you are feeling better soon. I’ve had headaches but never migraines. I can’t imagine.
Ok I have to get to bed to get up and WO with trainer. See all tomorrow
