linda72 So far we have had 3 drops of rain.LOL. It is cloudy and only 84 degrees.I have been watching the weather channel and it doesn't look good around the coast. They did say Dallas might get some but not much.Bastrop County is only expected to get a little over 1" in 3 days.I'm hoping it's more than that for us.We really need it.

Good afternoon everyone. Sunny and cool here today. Lots of pain lately, walking is difficult at times. Seems like sciatica and yet it seems more severe this time. Lumbar spine xray showed some changes but not much I guess. I read the report myself the best I could make of it nothing from the doctor though, she just sent the report. sigh.... stenosis, and degenerative disc disease of course same as the last xray, but has advanced some. Hip xray showed mild osteoarthritis.
Just needed to talk about it..sorry for the downer post.
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone!

((( @allie, ))) so sorry you're in such pain. Have you had an MRI study? They can reveal so much more of the spine.
Heather are you eating too close to bedtime? That can cause some wicked/vivid dreams.
Fingers crossed our Texas peeps get just enough rain and nothing more. Your weather updates keep me informed about my brother/family in Cypress.

Yes, it became a tropical storm and came in at Freeport, about 8 miles from here. No wind to speak of but lots of rain.

Thanks for the well wishes. Yes on the MRI although it's been a couple years since the last one. I've had this condition for a long time off and on. It's just really hanging on this time. The pain is grinding me down. Taking tylenol more than I like. I hate taking meds of any kind anyway. Summer is bad for me due to flower gardening even though I'm pretty much down to container gardening now. Ha! I'll probably end up doing PT this time. Anyway, thanks again for letting me vent. Wishing all of you the very best. BBL

DotRen be safe my friend. Looks like it is just sitting over you. It supposedly it coming straight up this way. Ohhhmmmmm. The lake is low so hopefully they won't have to release to the rivers so all should be okay. *crossing everything* (((@allie))) epidural steroid shots for sciatica. AMAZING results, hobbled in and bounced off table after. Feel better. hpeterson1951 how weird! Maybe with school starting your brain is on overload?

DebDoesWW, you, too! We've probably gotten about 8" of rain since midnight, but overall it's been slow and steady, so the ground is handling it. We do have a temporary pool that the dog is thrilled with lol. I've dried him 20 times today!
