Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Looks like we’re going to have a beautiful weather week here in Buffalo. Cool start to the mornings, climbing to the high 70s in the afternoon. Perfect week for the last week of summer. I have upped my vitamin d already, hopefully my levels will stay where they are supposed to.
Will probably go down to my basement today for more CBing. Gotta keep that going.
Ruth - I printed out the Silver Sneaker class schedule from the Y. I am so looking forward to taking some classes during the week once I start my part time schedule. That’s what I want to focus on initially with my extra time.
Have a great day
Just talked to my landscape guy, he is expanding his business and will be using a plow instead of snow blower starting this winter. He wanted to be sure I would be ok with that. While I prefer the snow blower, I like his work ethic and will stay with him. I was thinking about taking my snow blower in for service, to see is it’s still in working condition. It’s nice to have something to use “just in case”. We were both bummed that we’re having a snow discussion on such a beautiful day.

Good afternoon Joy. Waiting to make sure Mara is sleeping before I go do a couple chores. Need to wrap Harper’s birthday presents for tonight. And I have a couple little things to give Sawyer too.
Taking Mara to meet DS before we head to the sushi place. Will be nice to have a day or two w/o her. One of younger DD’s high school swim team friend’s DF passed away a couple days ago. There was a group of 6 or 8 of us parents who went to every meet those girls were in from grade 8 thru grade 12. You always knew how many seats to save at away meets and this dad was one of those 6-8 parents. A great guy. He has had dementia for 11 years. A kind of dementia where he lost the ability to talk. And he didn’t know his grandkids. He has 4 of them, he loves them all, but didn’t really know they were his grands. About a year or so ago they had to put him in a dementia care center because his wife just could not care for him at home any longer. She also lost her sister less than a month ago. But she was running herself ragged trying to take care of both of them and she is in her early 70’s also. Hoping the visitation is tomorrow or this weekend so we can go to it. Won’t go to the funeral because it’ll be a Catholic one. The swim team friend lives in our small town and we run into her or her hubby every once in a while at the grocery store and would catch up on her dad’s condition.
Joy, talking about snow it’s too early! But DH has already been making noises about getting a new snow blower. Ours we bought right after we moved here so it’s aging out. Still useable and he might give it to DS since they have just a small electric one and it doesn’t do much in deep snow.
I’m thrilled because pre-season hockey starts tonight. Will listen to the game on the way home from dinner and then try to watch some of it on tv. Going to get online and see about getting some tickets for this weekend or next week whenever we don’t have Mara.
Ok, going to go find wrapping paper and then maybe sort out a few more kids clothes to list.
Will check in tonight during hockey.
