WORK IT WEDNESDAY... Gonna try!! Yesterday was a weird/good day - not all 100 oz of water, but also didn't eat much! Just not feeling "hungry" these days... not sure why that is?? Yesterday the scale was the same 3# down as it was Monday... so the water pill is NOT doing all it was said it would "do"!TOday is Day 3, she said 3-5 days... so we'll see! I didn't eat my salad yesterday - so it's all ready to pack up to go again today! SO that makes my morning easier!
Let me refill my coffee and be back to catch up ♥

TRACKIN' TUESDAY! 100 oz water ❌ I think it was 82 oz! 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ✔️ No flour ✔️ No wine ✔️ Journal ✔️
No eating after 7 ✔️Actually nothing but water and seltzer after 2!
While I did journal - I did not track in MFP... not sure why that is so much "trouble" these days... must get back in the habit - soon! As you can see I have added another "goal" for each day... haven't had wine in the house since Wednesday - last week... did enjoy 2 glasses at dinner with Cindi Saturday - but since last Wednesday "that's it"!
There has been a cocktail or two since last Wednesday - but not to the "extent" that I drink the wine - when it just Sits.Right.Here.!
Anyway... baby steps...
So far this is not showing a huge difference in my sleeping..but will continue to see how it goes!!
So moving on to WORK IT WEDNESDAY... MAN It's ONLY Wednesday?? UGH!

Good Morning ~
Yesterday was a good day. Hectic, busy, but not the chaotic feeling compared to last few weeks. I keep reassuring my one Title I Teacher we are making good progress with the DIBELS benchmark program. I think she's losing her motivation to 'help' much longer. Especially since she hasn't pulled students to work with yet. But I reminded her the data we are collecting will show WHO needs to be on her caseload. She gets it, but it's hard.
Meanwhile they are still working on setting up offices. The new Dean of Students has to move to where Title I teachers are located. She is furious! lol The school nurse (um, once one is hired) will need to move where the Dean's office is as it has a private bathroom, which, of course, the Dean had claimed as her own. Yesterday the IT Guys were running wires, drilling, and trying to set up internet/phone lines in the Dean's new office space in order she can MOVE there. But as they work they walk right through our testing areas - rude. We will all be so glad when this is done. Even the substitute nurses are irritated with the work being done. This should have been taken care of in JUNE! No word on when I'm to move, but then, no word on anyone building my future office.
Last night I started to fall asleep on the couch and totally forgot to take my night time meds. I still slept well without them! So I'm thinking hmm, maybe I can eliminate that dose too. I am finally finally feeling the results of eliminating the Gabapentrin I had to re-start for Shingles pain. FINALLY starting to lose again. Down 6# from the summer gain.
I tracked my Tuesday! Made it a point to limit carbs - had tuna fish for lunch with carrots dipped in it - nectarine - almonds - and 120 oz water at work. Then had carbonated flavored water as a treat.

Carole - good job with your Green check marks! Okay, and I see you added a No Wine to your list - good job!! Not ready here to give up my wine yet - I have a glass about 4x a week - since working until 6:00 each day I am not having the time in evening to sit with a good glass. BUT look at you go! No sugar, no flour is a great goal!!
Sue - ugh to the migraine attack. Hope it's under control today.
Gabrielle - I'm with you measuring food. I find myself just doing it out of habit especially limiting salad oil to 1 tablespoon, and weighing my organic blue corn tortilla chips. I keep my WW food scale right on the counter when making lunch. How was your visit with DS20 this week? Was he doing okay living in OR? When do classes start for him? Oh, how did the chicken recipe turn out?
Shelly - your Vacation time is almost here! I'm excited for your visit with your Boys and their families! And yes, to escape the hot dry weather will be a welcome relief. Great Job with your workouts!! Go You!!
Okay, getting this day started. Finished the last of 4 loads of laundry I re-washed for DH. Let's see if this works...geesh.
Oh, and my poison ivy continues to spread. I avoid brushing up against Colby Girl even though she did go to the groomer Saturday. I rechecked our yard and maybe found the poison ivy in the pakasandra around our deck?? but heck if I'm pulling it! lol ugh.... Just finished the last of prednisone. Hoping to just use hydrocortisone lotion and move on already!!

Christine: OUCH to leg cramps continuing... Not sure what else you can do for that. YAY for students offering to fill your water bottle for you!! I left my bottle in Cindi's car Saturday - need to figure out a time I can go pick it up! NEED IT! I seriously don't do as well without it!
Whew... child care is winding down... is DL (and the Prince) still helping out? Good for you making a learning game out of the time!
Hmmm, wouldn't think the laundry detergent would be an issue - but yes, do it "his" way and try to prove him wrong!!
Gabrielle: YAY to the rain NOT affecting the harvest!! Nighttime harvesting? I thought they came early - EARLY morning? Hoping the weather holds and they all get picked and everyone is happy {{{hugs}}}
Pretty sure Jamaica is where they come from - they come in every fall for apple picking... the orchard has housing for them, and they have a van to drive them into town once a week. They used to come to Shelburne to cash checks on Thursday - then Friday they take them to the grocery store in Greenfield...
Oh dinner Friday will be "easy... one gal is bringing an appetizer - another her "famous" Caesar Salad - another a dessert... all I do is the main course... supposed to be a nice night - so we may sit outside, even if we have a fire going, to ward off the "Chill" if there is one! Weekend is supposed to be back in the summer temps!
We will have Zoë, but Tracy will be here as well - and has agreed to watch her - so Ken and I can spend time with our friends. Usually 4 couples, but one gal may have to come "solo" this time... LOL She was supposed to babysit her granddaughter Friday night - so she may leave her DH home to do it!
I am not even trying to limit my PT to non-work hours... for my first few visits, I am OK with using lunch and making up time if I have to - I just want to get IN! Now my first appointment is 10/2!
OH I hope DS20 was home to enjoy dinner with you guys - before heading out again. When will he travel this time? Overnight? Or daytime??
Oh SUE... NOOoooooo.... so sorry it all caught up with you... {{{hugs}}}, but hey, may as well use a "sick day" and get it under control... hope it is better by today ♥
Shelly: LOL Just thought a friendly "reminder" might help get you to the gym!! Glad you got there - doesn't matter if it was "late", the good news is you got there!! I see the difference in going to train and going to WO alone is the trainer... I mean - it's more difficult to not go when someone is waiting for you, right?? MUCH easier to ditch when no one is waiting for you!
Hope the boss stays away today - so you can just get your work done, and get out on time!
I use Gluten Free Bread crumbs in my meatloaf now... I know not "KETO" but no flour... so that's what I keep on hand now... DDIL is GF so I try to adjust! No point in buying both!
I am so NOT ready for this "cold"... again 45 here now... will need to go pick up the pellets pretty soon - so I can turn the stove on these chilly mornings.

Mornin' Christine.... YAY for a good day, not feeling chaotic... good luck keeping the Title I Teacher "in line"! LOL
OH YAY, Ken just came down a little early... TV is on... OY VEY!
Oh dear... nothing like getting the "boot" out of a nice cushy office! LOL Sorry - don't feel bad for her... yes the nurse will need a private space! Umm, once one is hired?? Guess the first one didn't work out?? OMG, yes, none of this work should be going on now... I bet the "workers" and IT are fed up too!
WOO HOO for a 6# loss! YES, being free of the Gabapentin should show results! Glad it is for you!!
Thanks... to be honest the no sugar, no flour isn't that difficult... but then again I don't think if the wine as "sugar", so I am kind of flip-flopping on that whole thing!??! My No sugar, is candy - cakes - cookies - you get my drift... anyway... baby steps... gotta keep telling myself that... all things I go without - are "good"!
You are so good - I would have washed a certain amount of clothes and let DH try them... if he didn't get the rash I then would have re-washed it "all"...
Yeah - NO... gotta get someone else to pull the poison ivy for you... can DD Carly help you out? Good luck!
OK Time to get moving - still trying to make up some time so I can get out early Friday - left early yesterday for injections... so today and tomorrow will be go in early and take only 1/2 lunch! Friday I should be able to leave at 2.
♥hugs♥

Morning all....feeling human finally.....just a dull ache but definitely one I can function at work with. I pretty much slept off and on in the recliner all day yesterday...might explain why I was so restless overnight but feel fairly rested.
Will come home and lay low after work and hopefully by tomorrow be good as new. Depending on how I feel when I get home, might pop in to catch up....computers are not always my friend when I get a migraine so after a full day at work....we'll see!
Waves all...been thinking of you!

Good Morning everyone
I had a really bad Dr's appt on Monday so I'm switching Dr's. I always feel like I'm on a conveyer chain when I see my Dr. In and out just as fast as possible and I don't get enough time to explain what's going on. I talked to her about my Diverticulitis and she said maybe I'm allergic to dairy. I don't eat dairy except cheese and that's not everyday either. Then I tried to talk to her about my back pain and tried to explain the PT really didn't help out at all. All she said in return was Huh... Huh... that's it!!!! No going to see any specialist or anything?!! She didn't have time to talk about it and she just left the room. So I'm been researching clinics and found Salem Women's clinic and going to start going there.
I did get my first Shingles shot and boy did I feel horrible yesterday. Felt like the flu bug was coming but it was just the reaction of the shot. I also got my flu shot along with the Shingles that day so now my arms are very sore. Diane has been a lot better lately, I think with her son moving out of the house made her mad/sad also, but he's moved back in again with his girlfriend so she's happy about that. So back to normal.

Carole I only had one wine last night also. Trying to cut back on that too. I just came home and made chicken noodle soup(homemade) and ate and went to bed until 3:00am and woke up and tossed and turned the rest of the night. Your dinner party sounds fun especially around a camp fire. It's really raining here lately so I'm a bit chilly too.
Christine oh Poison Ivy ouch. Between the shingles and now this I hope you start getting back to normal again soon. Hope you get back into normal routine soon.
Hello Sue and all who follow I gotta go for now trucks are coming in so back to work I go

Evening all....head is pounding but wanted to pop in and at least see what everyone is up to today!
Carole...my BP med has a "water pill" ingredient and it really doesn't do much for puffy ankles and stuff....what med are you on?? Mine is a combo with HCTZ (Hydrochlorothiazide) in it! Yes, having stuff ready does make for a quicker morning...I did pack my lunch container last night when I ate a little dinner so I just needed to add it to my lunchbox! YAY for lots of green checks. Yes, when you have a box of wine in the fridge it is easy to just get some....I go in spurts....sometimes I just want a glass or two....other days, I just have seltzer! I will say I did get a little "Black Box" to bring along for the hotel this weekend...the equivalent of 2-3 5 oz glasses....but then the rest of the weekend none....wine or no wine doesn't make a difference with my sleep either.
Christine...glad your day was a bit less hectic! I'm sure your teacher is frustrated with all the info gathering but I know she'll be glad to see who actually will benefit from her help! Patience is not always easy when gathering data....seems so tedious until the it is put into practical daily use! LOL, it's funny, but not funny that your office work is still not done...are you surprised?? Glad you are starting to see progress on the scale and overall well being with the lower dose of Gabapentin....6# down is great! Made it through the day but all the fluorescent lights do NOT help a headache...was glad to get home and out of the light! Can't believe you are still dealing with the poison ivy! OK...now I need to know why you had to re-wash 4 loads of laundry! Glad child care is winding down! What a fiasco!
Gabrielle/Christine...my scale is on the counter too.....
OK...I'm done...my head is pounding....hoping another early night and I'll be good as new!

Hey all. Bad morning. Well not horrible but a rushed morning. So I get up and get ready to go to the gym and grabbed my bag with my clothes in it for later. Then I realized when I was almost to town that I forgot to grab a shirt for work. So I had to rush back home and grab a shirt. Made my workout shorter. But I got it in!!! After work I stopped by the gym and got me a meal replacement shake. Didn’t feel like cooking when I got home.
Boss was out of town today as his new granddaughter was born last night. He was headed back this afternoon though 🙁. Oh well 2 more days and I’m gone!!! So ready. I’m just so over being around ppl not using their brain.
Carole I again would like to get up and make it to the gym but so far I haven’t made it yet on non training day so we will see. Your PT will be here before you know it. Glad you will be able to get that started.
Way to stay on plan as well as you do!!! I get it on the no sugar. I keep saying baby steps. I’m sure you will start seeing results with the water pills. Give it time. At least your down 3# since Sunday. I haven’t lost a thing. Still hovering around 201-202. I need to be under 200 for my mini goal.
Christine I can’t believe there is so much construction going on I figured that would’ve been done before kids arrived. And still no nurse??? Wow I guess DL should have done a more formal interview before hiring. So you still don’t have an office? I hope your not in a closet again while waiting for an office to be built for you. Hope you are going to be able to wean yourself off of the night meds.
Oh I have not tracked in forever. And measuring...... I’m sure that would make a huge difference. Not sure why I find it so difficult. Good job being down 6#. Proud of you. Now if I could start following you and Carole’s example.
Oh I hope you can get that poison ivy out of tour yard!!! Yes demand help!!! How is DH with his rash. I agree with Carole I probably would’ve just rewatched a few items to see if that helped before rewatching every single thing. Lord knows I don’t want to over do myself lol.
Sue glad you are feeling a little better Hope tomorrow is an even better day. I’m not surprised you was ready to come home and just shut down. I would’ve been too.
Jenny so sorry you had to find a new DR. They need to treat their patients how they would want to be treated. I mean what if they was sick or hurt. Do they want their DR being vague? Hope your new dr is a little more attentive.
Ok thinking of heading to bed. Will try to check in tomorrow
