Monday first thing I need to call my surgeon's office as I am not sure if my follow up appointment is the 23rd or 25th. The writing on the card is sketchy. I'm reading 25 and Carl 23. It's not till 3pm so I do have time.
Only other thing on my agenda is to hydrate plan and track. I did have two cookies while visiting Sheila. I guestimated the points and will move on....
Sweet dreams all.

Today I will:
* journal on paper and MFP * fruit and/or veg at every meal * stay positive * come up with a menu for Wednesday that will not derail the weight loss momentum * exercise at least 20 minutes * begin clean-up for Wednesday
BIL is home. Sister said the trip was easy and they did not have their friend come at the halfway point to get him up and out of the truck. A friend had the items requested in the house to make his transition/healing easier and another had dinner there for them. Sister is looking forward to seeing and walking with Piper, their Labradoodle, tomorrow. Piper is also BIL's assistance/support dog.
MJ: I have never heard of the Young Marines. I have heard of the college group that are already enlisted before going...they have a special name...ROTC or something like that. Do they have earlier groups than college for the military? Hope the schedules this coming week all line up and flow seamlessly.
SUSI: Sounds like a lovely Sunday!
ANN: My coffee is sadly gone for this morning. It is a nice habit to begin the day. Do you ever have the coffee out on the screened in porch? What view do you have from your comfy chair out there? Glad Sheila is better.
BEE: Oh my...sounds like some difficult times in the future for your sister...and since you are nearest...for you, too. (((HUGS)))
PAM: Just noticed your profile picture has you wearing blue...perhaps a talisman for the blue dot days you are gathering one day at a time.
BECKY: How interesting you included "best friend" on your wedding invitation. Mine had the verses from Ruth (I think) that said something about your people will become my people...
Will tackle cleaning once I get through with online activities. Then...more books.

Good morning, Ann - Becky - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
Extra prayers for June & R, for Sheila & Donna, for Cathy's sis & broIL, for Bee's DD and family...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
DivaTaxi will run in a bit. Then both Toots & I will head out - he to Son#1's to take the Zigster to school, and me to MHMR. I have LA-F at 9:30 AM. This afternoon we will have MousekePickup at 3:30. I will get Toots & the Mice settled at the MousekeHouse and then head to The Plantation for 6 PM-?? squidSitting with MissMilla & MrLogan.
Yesterday's John Basilone parade was an excellent experience, and I am still <ahem> "feeling it" - especially in my back and legs 😂🤣.
Today, as the paragraph above attests, will be nutzNutzNUTZ and the spreadsheet is quite detailed since it also involves Toots. I will say that I am NOT "doing legs" at LA-F (and there is an update on last Monday's skirmish with my trainer about appointment times, but that's for another post).
Not enough coffee in the world... ☕☕☕...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

Glad you could visit Sheila yesterday. 2 cookies are a small price. Becky - Enjoy your KOKO day Glad BIL is home and the transition was fairly easy. My sister's cat is named Piper. Yes, it was a lovely, mostly lazy day. MJ - I wouldn't call this retirement. Do your kids realize just how lucky they are? I'm in. Off to walk Charlie. Will add more later.

Good morning all. Had another good sleeping night Cathy great goals for today. So happy to hear that you BIL is home. Bet he and your sister are as well. Our screen room overlooks the backyard...lots of pine trees out there and we also see our neighbors home. We do have coffee out there in the a.m. It's quiet where we live and just love sitting there. MJ I hope you can get some YOU time into your nutz day. Happy you enjoyed the parade. Will wait till my surgeon's office opens and call to see when my appointment is. If it's not today, we will go and scout out a pair of comfy shoes....
Susi yes the cookies were delish and I enjoyed them. Normally I stop at one...but ya know how that goes

KOKO as I keep aiming for blue. The fact that tomorrow is my WI day will also keep me focused. I’m headed out to get a workout in and then picking up a few necessities for planned meals. All will be tracked an I’ll get my water and other liquids in. Hoping everyone has a healthy day.

Visiting nurse came to see Sheila today. She still needs someone with her 24/7 as she's still not steady on her feet. Donna and her dad take turns. Donna does have a sister that has excuses as to why she simply can't lend a hand.
Donna is coping best she can. She was with us today while we shopped.
