This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Our motto is persistence, not perfection.

Good morning everyone,
Look who didn't sleep until 9 or 10 this morning! Haha
Just jumping in to get us started. I've got a pot of Maple Bacon coffee brewing, and it's about time to pour up a mug.
I'm sure I'll pop back in later. Hope everyone has a decent Monday.

Hi everyone -
I promise I'm still here. I'm still in my funk - going to an appointment this afternoon to try and work on that. I don't know what happened but all of a sudden last night it got so much worse.
i had a good weekend overall. Went to visit a friend in Charlotte and saw the broadway show for Aladdin which was really good. My favorite of the disney musicals I've seen on stage so far.
At work for a little while to catch up on a few things and then I'll be heading out. Keeping you all in my thoughts.

Hello Everyone - skipped the gym this morning so I could go to neuro-fit with DH. We will stop at DS and DBIL’s when we leave here for a bit and then head home. I don’t think we have anything else planned today so maybe I will pop up to the clubhouse gym to ride the bike and lift weights.
Lora - oh that coffee sounds so good!
Amanda - sorry about the funk - hope what you are doing to work on that helps - remember we are always here fore you
Jana - how was the weekend?

Amanda, so sorry about the funk but glad you're getting support. As Susie said, we are here for you if you need to vent.
Lora, maple bacon coffee sounds amazing. I'm sure that flavor doesn't exist in decaf so I'd have to break down and have regular. I don't sleep well anyway, so who cares, right?
I started the day with PT, made breakfast and lunch, and went to a network board meeting at 9:30, realizing halfway there that I'd left my backpack with my wallet and everything else in it at home. It was too late to turn back, so here I am in the office just generally anxious. I will drive home really carefully to get it before my agency board meeting this evening. At least I had my lunch, phone and keys with me!!! Still, feeling very off and disorganized to forget something that important. Wish me luck tonight...
Hot, hot, hot here today, 86 right now and still going up. Just weird to have it this hot so late. I had heat on briefly twice last week and a/c on last night and probably tonight. We're supposed to have rain tonight and back to the 70's tomorrow.

Hi Everyone,
Today was not great but not quite as horrible as Thursday. My teaching partner wasnt in due to a tragic accident that was fatal for her husband.I am not sure exactly what happened but it may have been a car accident but I am not sure if it happened here or in Puerto Rico. At any rate, I am not sure when she will be back. About 4 of my kids were out. Not sure why but not complaining. One of the people came to pick up her grandson but his mom never told her that he didnt come today.
Amanda, sorry you are still in a funk. I hope that the support you are getting will help you.
Andi, glad you had your phone and keys at least. I know you will feel better when you have your wallet and any other thing you may have left.
