Had fun yesterday. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Nobody seemed to want to go home. I am resting today. Hubby is going to Beirut. The coomputer is plugged in at 36% but not charging or depleting so??? I need to take it in but since the car with AC will not be here to drive will wait to go till tomorrow.

Good morning. I got my yard mowed yesterday before it rained. There was not much rain, 0.04", but it did shower as promised. It wasn't very warm, in the mid 50's, and there was some wind. I was partly sheltered by the trees but it was a bit cool when I had to be out in the open and facing the wind. I think this will be the last mowing for this year. Anyway I'm glad I got it done because the forecast shows showers and rain at least through next Wednesday with some snow showers thrown into the mix.
Not much on my agenda today, and especially nothing outside. There are always things to do in the house.
Have a nice day, beaches.

Good morning friends,
Not much going on here either. The cleaning girls are coming today & while they are here, I will probably get out of their way & go do a bit of grocery shopping. DD has asked me to run by the drug store & pick up a prescription for her, so I will fill the time with a few chores. Right now, we have a plumber here, one of our toilets is backing up. Seems there is always something, guess that's just part of keeping up a house, especially one that is 50 yrs old.
We are getting ready for DGS's birthday party this Sunday. Hard to believe that he is going to be 14!!!!!! He is such an amazing young man!! We are so blessed to have him in our lives. The party is going to be at SIL & BIl's house. SIL is doing most of the cooking (something that she loves to do), I am in charge of the appetizers. I am going to make a veggie tray, a fruit tray & some sort of cheese dip. I figure the veggie tray & fruit tray will be for those who want to avoid the cake & ice cream. GS has requested homemade pizza as the main course, so that's what it will be. I ordered 2 packs of gluten free pizza crust mix (so many are on special diets), SIL will make that & also her own famous crust for the rest of the group.
Have a wonderful day everyone!!

Bev, what a handsome young man!! His birthday celebration sounds great! Waving to all my friends!
We went to the fair yesterday and I am pooped. It was huge...I did as much walking as I could a. nd people watched the rest of the time. We didn't get home until almost 9 pm. It was wonderful though. I am a city girl and had never been to a fair like this before. All five New England stated had buildings where they offered state information and dozens of booths with their best food and state made items. I didn't buy much...just a slab of cheddar cheese from Vermont and some chocolate covered graham crackers for my DD who loves them. There were food stands galore...and a circus, a 4H exhibition, and horses...we missed a lot because it was so big, but next year will cover more turf.
I am resting today as tomorrow we are heading to Rhode Island again...my DH gets to rest from his hectic schedule.
Have a great day all!

This morning I got a workout in. I then picked up a few needed essentials as well as lunch. well as lunch. Paul and Tracey then got the new drapes hung. The last load of laundry is now in the dryer. Itβs been a productive day.
