I will:
* journal * eat a fruit and/or veg at every meal * hydrate * think/journal before I eat
Need to get back on track. Almost all the leftovers are gone...might toss the rest of them. Decided I don't like quinoa...won't be buying it again. I took the computer in...the cord is plugged in and the computer works BUT the battery won't charge. I have ordered a new cord with adapter and if that fixes the problem will purchase a stabilizer to use with it all the time since the electricity in Lebanon fluctuates so much.
BIL: Sister said her husband's pain is less and he is weaning off the dilaudid. She is thrilled he has less pain and can do without it. I am guessing he won't be one of the many who become addicted to the stuff. He lost a brother to addiction so have a feeling he is extra careful.
AUDREY: Have fun, enjoy the food, portion watching is a good way to taste everything without overindulging.
SUSI: Does Charlie get you up at 3 often? Ugh! Poor Charlie and poor you. ((((HUGS))))
MJ: Ugh...dead body? I think I need to go back and read the past few days! I am glad your son and his family are okay! You are busy as usual...don't know how you do it all!
ANN: Hope you have great fun with your friends. Being with good friends and catching up is a blessing. The computer is written about above...hoping it will be fixed with the new adapter/cord thingy.
BEE: Celebrating with family/friends can be worth a pound or two Glad Sharon is okay.
PAM: You are so blessed to be near family and still have your mother to spend time with! Here's to another blue day for you!
BECKY: I think I am tracking calories, too. I tossed all my old WW information except the Core stuff I have in a binder and the cookbooks but just can't wrap my mind around points like I once did. I am using MFP and when I am honest and stay within points the scale does go down.
JUNE: My sister told her husband to dump the home health care nurse...she is doing the work and the nurse doesn't set a time to come just pops in whenever. I am not sure if they asked her not to come or not. She has so many friends with nursing and medical skills and they are so glad to be home and see that he is improving. It took over an hour for them to remove the staples from his back, side and front. He is able to be left for a couple of hours so my sister can go run errands and he keeps his phone by his side in case of emergency. The nearly three weeks in hospital were a trial by fire but I think they are beginning to see he is truly on the mend. I am glad R is doing better. My sister said that the not bending and twisting is tricky. Getting out of bed and such requires a technique I think they perfected in his first two back surgeries. I am hoping he won't have to have the surgery on his neck till he is truly healed from this one! I don't know how you can work full time and care for your husband, too!
I think I am caught up...hope everyone has some fun planned for the weekend. I am using the little laptop and hoping the cord that arrives next week will fix the problem. 53 dollars will be worth it, I hope. Looking forward to having brown rice, black beans and salad for lunch today.

Ann - Good times with friends are worth the reset button Becky and Bee - KOKO is a good thing. Cathy - Glad to hear BIL is weaning off the drugs. Sounds like he is recovering well. I have learned it is not a sin to throw out food. (Sorry mom!) Charlie is a little better. He finally ate last night and again this morning. He tolerated, barely, a short walk this morning. He is mobile but just doesn't want to be. Today we are traveling north to have lunch with our dad's cousin. She is the last remaining relative of that generation.

Good morning all. Looks like I have company in the reset department Slept well and for that I'm grateful. Susi, happy that Charlie is a wee bit better. Have fun visiting your dad's cousin. Cathy hopefully the computer will be fixed. I know how that feels to not have one that works all the time available. I don't like to.....but I DO throw food out! I've reached the point where if I don't love it...it and I can't recycle it...it goes out. Glad your BIL is doing better. Getting off the meds is hard. Praying that the transition is an easy one for him. Bee and Becky I will be KOKO'ing today with a twist....Sheila called and invited us to have pizza with them. I shall bring a salad and fill up on that. Best I can do. Wishing AWF a wonderful peaceful and OP Saturday.

Good morning, Ann - Becky - Bee - Cathy - Susi - and AWF! Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... Extra prayers to St. Francis for Charlie... 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Got home from The Plantation at 12:30 AM, went to bed somewhere around 1:30 AM, got up at 7:30 AM. I am NOT going to my 8 AM WW workshop; I did "check in" on Thursday so I've got my Winning Points to add to the donation tally. And I was busy "living my WHY" 😂🤣😂 KSMB at noon at the Time To Eat Diner. Kressling soccer at 3 PM (we are covering; DDIL is working and Son#1 will be at a soccer game with k'ling2). There is a YM community service opportunity tomorrow so I think he's staying overnight. And the snow leopard paws wandered home with me... they are an ambitious project for a 12-year-old... I will do the tricky parts of setting the fingers in and save her plenty of the simpler stuff for when I bring them back next Friday evening. We made a really good, solid start. Son#2 helped, and DDIL & MrLogan cheered us on. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOEgMjtj1mI&fbclid=IwAR2hqPx8aAd2bZG8MTVlET680diXGt02CIKKeDU7ngmefOYYre8fM96ARHA&app=desktopCoffee... ☕☕☕... time for coffee... did I say that I SLEPT IN?!?!? 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

Taking a little breather to check in. Read the personals. Hate to be out of the loop, but right ...
Ann Ha ha ha . . . Didn't you know that it is actaulll (re) Sat- ur- day??? You'll do it.
Audrey Hope that you feel well enough to enjoy Rome. Coliseum & shelf i wall where Cesar's body was supposedly displayed were my favs. Yours?
Bee That blip onthe scale is well worth the family moments. But seriously there should be a special setting onthe scale for those occasions.
Becky Did you have to hit the grocery store before the weekend? My sister K has helped me w/that.
Cathy Great news for your BIL and SIL!!! I am glad that R did not have complications like your BIL,but a week of post op care for R would have been easier all around. We made it though. We made it.
good luck w/ your PC
I have 3 classes, which is almost a full teaching load. Probably have one of the largest student load or the largest inthe dept. Andno GA to gradefor me. 🤓 Am grateful, grateful, grateful just to become w/ R and a pile of grading.
I can not even think about FRi & all that. Gotta get through this part of the day first. A dthenthe evening. That's my approach-- little segment by little segment of a day.
Mj Loving the joint project. Those are the times she or someone else will likely recall. It's not about $$ or gifts, it about willing hands & hearts.
LaDonna Are you watchingClemson? R is while I scurry, scurry, scurry. Except right now I decided that I need a Can Doer moment.
I will not lie, it has been Harry at times. I am lucky that I only work PT,but I do have almost a full teaching load with a mountain of grading this semester.
Susi I feel so sad about Charlie. Sending more hugs. We still miss our lab, Jo Jo.
Pam Glad that you had time to enjoy your mom.
Apologies if I forgot anyone. Luv ya! And appreciate your kind thoughts and heartfelt prayers. They help!
Gotta go R needs me

Cathy Great goals.I'm glad your BIL's pain is getting better. For me there is too much disconnect between points and calories on either Smart Points or Freestyle.I have joined a group on Facebook of people who have gone from tracking points to tracking calories.I don't need to lose but hopefully I can continue to maintain this way.
Susi I'm glad Charlie is a little better.Hopefully he will bounce back from this.Enjoy your time with family.
Ann Enjoy the visit with Sheila.Filling up on salad before pizza is a wonderful idea.
MJ I'm glad you were able to sleep in a little.
We had planned to get our flu shots today but Medicare's system was down. They gave us the forms to fill out and we will go back on Monday.
Have a good day all.
