I can:
* journal
* eat a fruit and/or veg at every meal
* exercise more than yesterday
Daughter confirmed she will visit for over two weeks in December then again next summer I hope to speak with granddaughters and daughter this evening via Skype. Lunch today (I think) will be rice based tostadas to help use up the black beans that are leftover from Wednesdsay...need to reheat if they are not off and enjoy the meal.
BIL went for a walk in the park using his walker with a seat to sit on. He is motivated to healing. Glad he is improving.
SUSI: Hope you enjoyed the meal with your father's cousin and heard some memories of the past you had not heard before. Good to hear Charlie is a bit better.
ANN: I don't mind throwing out food I don't like and hubby won't eat. I still have the black beans and do like them so hope they are still okay to eat today...if not...in the trash they go. Hubby buries it in the garden as fertilizer since we don't have ducks and chickens to eat leftovers any more.
MJ: Sounds like a busy productive day...again Tried to watch the youtube video BUT this wonky computer wouldn't show the image and the sound was weird...
JUNE: I am happy your husband did well with surgery. The pain of any surgery is not nice but I think perhaps spinal surgery is worse. I am glad you are there for him and that you have backup people to help out. I am thrilled R and my BIL are on the mend. Your teaching load without an assistant is a LOT...hope you have time between teaching, grading and caring for R to "smell the roses".
BECKY: How do you track calories if not with an app? Do you use a book with the information or a website or? I don't do WW because figuring points is just difficult. MFP is fiddly because so many foods here are not easy to find on MFP. I have thought of exchanges (TOPS/MAYO/Some other) but...haven't really committed to that yet.
Okay...am going to go check the black beans and wash the lettuce...hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Cathy - I find that MFP has an extensive enough data base for me and I find adding recipes and foods easy. But I am sure some of what is available to you may not be in there. Irma traveled extensively to places most Americans could never find on a map, especially in South American and Africa. Most of her trips were solo and would today be extremely dangerous, never mind that she was a single woman. It included being the only passenger on a frigate in South American and heading into the rain forest to visit an indigenous tribe, with a boa landing on the front of the vehicle on the way. She gave us a generous donation to help the feral cats as she knows we would otherwise never accept money from her. But she is a cat lover as well and is happy to help us take care of them. We had a lovely late lunch at a nearby Mediterranean restaurant. Today is a "free" day. I will have a good breakfast but the day will be dominated by wine and food pairings and I am just going to enjoy.

Good morning all. June so good to see you. Miss you (((hugs)) We had a wonderful time last night. The pizza and salad and company....all good Cathy thank for getting us started. When I got home I had 'puter issues' and would not let me into the site to post. Great goals and so happy that DD will be here to visit. Christmas is just around the corner Susi your friend surely has traveled the path less taken. So happy that she is so generous with her donations. Enjoy your 'free day' Not sure what's on our agenda for today...time will tell....Last night it was 70 when we were out in the screen room enjoying our wine. It's going to be another beautiful day today. Wishing AWF an OP Sunday

Good morning, Cathy - Susi - Ann - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
We went to bed at midnight last night (got involved in Midsomer Murders, Vera, and then Dr. Blake - all on PBS) and slept in until 7:30 this morning. There is a YM community service event from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM at American Legion Post 471; they are hosting a BBQ for some of the residents at the Veterans' Home. The Kressling did not sleep here last night but will be here by 10 AM. Our plan is to drop him at home afterward (he's actually going to a Red Bulls soccer game this evening) and then head for Sunday Steak Dinner.
Both Toots & I have decided that KSMBrunch does not work well for us - we prefer it to be Breakfast and be around 9:30 AM, not noon. The diner was packed and we just felt like we lost the bulk of the day (the two diners we use are each at least 1/2 hour away). Ah, well. Things evolve.
When we got home we took naps and then I headed out to the Kressling's soccer match. He came home with me and stayed until DDIL picked him up to go home and work on a weekend science assignment. She and I also talked about her new job. The earlier arrival time is company-wide and varies according to "what has to be done" to get the store ready for the day. She has asked for morning help in October while she investigates pre-care for the Zigster (they've already contracted for after-care, which was his normal routine last year). It won't be every day of the week - this week it's Tuesday and Friday for us with Son#1 covering Thursday. October also includes one school holiday (10/14) and four half-days for parent conferences (10/22-25). Forewarned is forearmed...
NASCAR Monster Energy is at 3 PM as the playoffs continue.
Coffee... ☕☕☕... it's National Coffee Day...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

First of all I would like to thank all for the prayers, and please don't stop.
Second, I apologize for being in a blue funk for almost a month now. Thanks for bearing with me. I am not totally in the clear mentally about this, but I am sure better.
We got some sprinkles --- DD was in the store, I had the window down, and I got sprinkled on. Didn't last long.
Hope ALL have a great day!

Becky bet you aren't going to miss 100 degree days. Sending some cooler temps your way.
Our walk was good. My foot still acts up but today so far has been good. I just have to be careful not to push myself.
We had an early supper. Ate in the screen room and it was lovely.
Will take one more walk before the sun sets. Starting to get dark earlier. Still can't believe tomorrow is the last day of September.
