Hi all. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day for us. Taking Donna to get her license renewed and we'll shop around and have lunch. Then they are having a homeowners meeting here. Normally I don't bother going, however this one is to elect new members to replace those that are running the show and not doing a great job of it. We also need to check in on our neighbor Brian as he is not feeling well. Won't be online at all....catch ya'll Tuesday. Enjoy the last day of September

Back home and it feels so good. Monday morning will be back to work. Edisto was lovely but very hot. So enjoyed time with family and friends. One sad thing that happened was that 4 Pilot Whales came to shore and died right down the beach from where we were staying. There was a 5th one we could see off shore that kept coming to the surface. Saturday afternoon it came on shore and died also I'm learning that this is happening a lot near the southern coast line. Necropsies will be done to hopefully determine what is happening to the sea creatures. I will get back on track tomorrow and take my medicine Tuesday morning at WI.

Today I will:
* Hydrate * journal every BLT * Stay OP * walk 20 minutes
I have plenty of produce and protein and grains to make healthy OP meals this week. I am hoping that the power cord/adapter that we ordered will fix t he DELL laptop computer issue and it will recharge again BUT if not...won't pay for it and find out if the shop is able to fix the laptop or send it to someone that will agree to fix is under the warranty that still exists. Fingers crossed.
SUSI: I sometimes have to fiddle with food input on MFP when it comes to Lebanese dishes. I should probably make them, put the recipe in and then use that every time. I have done that with some of the foods and products produced locally. Irma sounds like an interesting person with many stories to tell. Has she written down or recorded them for others to read in the future?
ANN: Sorry you had computer issues...when the internet here goes out (and it often does) it makes me a wee bit crazy. Your pizza with friends and wine on the screened porch sounds heavenly! Loved the image of saddling up animals for a walk I can see why you would attend the home owners meeting to oust current people in charge and put in better people. It is good of you to take Donna to renew her license. Hope Brian will feel better - good of you to visit him.
MJ: I get dizzy reading all that you do and keep track of! I am in awe of your organizational skills and keeping everything straight! Your children are blessed to have you and your husband there to help carry the load.
BEE: Sorry you have been in a blue funk and hope that you are moving up toward a brighter happier time this month.
BECKY: Sorry you are living through a record breaking high heat Fall but perhaps it is something to write in your diary for future generations to read DD may come and may not...or so she said last night. I will keep thinking positive that she will be here for Christmas.
LADONNA: Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed time, even if hot, with family. So sorry to hear about the pilot whales I read an article about whales having trouble on the west coast, too. Some die from collisions with boats. One population is diminishing in number but another is increasing. I hope the necropsies provide some insight.

Good morning, Ann - LaDonna - Becky - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
πππππππππ
Yesterday was busyBusyBUSY... good busy... but <oy>. No, <OY>. The Kressling & I arrived at the American Legion post at 11 AM. Six Young Marines took advantage of this community service opportunity, which was to welcome a bus of veterans, men and women, from the Veterans Home at Menlo Park. There were 11 in wheelchairs and two with walkers. The YM welcomed them with a formation outside the bus, then escorted them to the picnic tables and helped to serve their plates of food and dessert. They also chatted with them - easier for some than for others - and one YM asked if he could stick with the Kressling, who, he said, "made it easy to talk to people". We were supposed to be done by 2:30 but when we left at 3 PM (Kressling had to get home, to go to a Red Bulls game with his family) they were still going strong.
Then Toots & I went to Charlie Brown's for a late Sunday Steak Dinner (got the almost-last plates of prime rib!) and watched some of the Cowboys/Saints game.
Today has many elements of the same. DivaTaxi is actually off-duty (Son#1 is not going in) but there's still MHMR and LA-F this morning, and cooking up the chicken for MissMouse. We'll pick up the Mice at 3:30, take them home, and feed them an early supper so the Mouseketeer can get to 6 PM CCD.
DDIL told me yesterday that due to a Sunday-afternoon-last-minute schedule change, Son#1 will have to coach the Kressling's soccer game tonight at 6 PM instead of having practice with the Zigster's team (their team's other coach is in PGH on business, planned with the original schedule in mind). DDIL will be at work. So there's a lot of juggling, picking up equipment and the Zigster from aftercare and shifting coaching mindset from 6-yr-olds to teenagers. I suspect that we will have the Zigster and K'ling2 here.
AND it's the last day of September <sigh>. HollyDaze are coming...
Coffee... βββ... sure will be helpful today...
πππππππππ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππ
NOTE: the tallest one is the Kressling

Very busy day for you Ann. Enjoy. See you Tuesday Sad to hear about the whales but happy you had a good vacation. Good plan Becky Cathy - Hope that fixes your computer issues. I had to do with with a number of recipes that don't have "equivalents" in the tracker. Irma has books of pictures from her travels. She never married or had children. She has two nieces that, while they don't live close, she is very close to them. Sorry but that's just nuts MJ! I'm in. Yesterday was fun but my friend ended up getting sick which put a little damper on things. New winery was definitely a work in progress. They only opened in May and 2 buildings aren't even completed yet, but they had a band, a food truck and the wine is very good, albeit expensive. Today is back on track.

MJ, chicken is onn our menu tonight. La Donna, I read about the beached whales and wondered if it was near where you were. Glad you had a good vacation. We arrived home Saturday night at 7 p.m. but the car had a dead battery. We did not end up home until almost 10 p.m. so yesterday was my first day to try to do everything. The trip was wonderful but time difference is so hard to get used to. This morning I have a board meeting and the dog groomer comes at 2 p.m. I will try to walk the dog after my meeting. DH did it this morning while I was trying to wake up. Susi, that's such a good photo. Will try to catch up this week but am definitely back on track moving, tracking and hydrating.

We arrived in Breckenridge last night. The aspen turning gold are at their peak. Usually they turn earlier and weβve always missed them. It is just beautiful wherever we look. The sky is so blue and the gold against the green is awe inspiring.
Iβm planning and tracking on the WW app on my phone. I wonβt make it to a meeting this week as there are none close. Iβll be back on schedule next Tuesday. Iβm wearing my Fitbit and recording my steps. I can do this. The beauty will keep me motivated!
