I'm IN.
I walked in the door at the stroke of midnight, coming home from The Plantation. I'm exhausted.
WW workshop and monthly weigh-in at 8 AM. If it wasn't for those 50 Wellness Wins, I would just go back to bed now.
One mug of coffee... ☕☕☕... and a travel mug in hand... and a NAP to follow...

I’m in. We’re having our final breakfast before heading home. The size of the crowd is huge so we know we’ve made the right decision.😊Packing up has begun. Unpacking and relaxing this afternoon is on the agenda!

In the jargon of DivaLand, The Plantation is Son#2's house. When he bought the house, it was described as a "wooded property" set on 2 acres - with bramble bushes and various forms of undergrowth and lots of unkempt trees (and ground bees). Thanks to many, MANY hours of "menial labor" - think 12-hour-plus days that first summer/fall - it is now a "parklike setting". Son#2 always had a very specific scope of work that would be attempted on a given day and a plan for accomplishing it. He was often referred to by his loving parents <ahem> as Plantation Lord & Master, hence the nickname for the final result. |

When you think of The Plantation... think labor... LOL... although right now the next big outdoor project (spreading a dump truck full of fill dirt) is on hold until Spring. |

I think I'm just going to have to go on the notion that I will never understand diva speak and it will be like the time I tried to learn Swedish. I'll just always have to read it as though it's a foreign tongue and just accept the fact that I'll be reading words but no clue as to what they mean!
At least now I'll know that being at the plantation means they've put you to work!

At least now I'll know that being at the plantation means they've put you to work! Yup. I was helping my DGD work on her snow leopard Halloween costume. Let's just say that she has ambitious ideas. But she is 12 years old and she wants to hang out with Grandma to do this. Works for me. |
