This thread is for anyone that has been away from healthy eating, had a gain and is recommitting. We accept all forms of healthy eating here, whatever that means to you. We touch base daily for accountability and to encourage one another. This is a judgment free zone.
We all struggle to get the weight off and keep it off. Sometimes this is a challenge, but we never give up and that is the key. Regardless of our situation or where we are in reaching our goal, we count on talking to each other every day and are blessed to have one another as friends.
Our motto is persistence, not perfection.

Good morning all. Woke up early and went to WW with DN. Am up 2.6 this week, no surprise. The receptionist (or whatever they call them now) and I talked and we raised my goal weight 10 lbs so that I'm only 1.6 over. She convinced me I needed to do something different to change things up for myself and although it feels like a defeat on some level, it also feels like a relief. I'm 4 lbs below the top weight for my height, which I know is too much for me but reminds me I'm in an acceptable place. The irony of it all is this is the weight I was when I went to WW the first time, probably almost 50 years ago... Wow.
I have the heat on here this morning, was in the 30's outside when I woke up. So I guess it's official, heating season has begun.
Going to the gym shortly, then maybe Target where i hear they have a pumpkin spice coffee creamer I'd like to check out. I'll probably hate it but am in kind of a pumpkin spice mood this morning. Later movie and out to dinner. Tomorrow am going on a hike, really looking forward to it. Perfect weather for that.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. I know Susie is having an awesome time with her DD. Jana, thanks so much for posting here. You know we are all thinking of you during this really difficult time.

Hi Everyone, Other than going to the library for a change to work on my portfolio and food shopping for my friend I dont have much planned this weekend. I had a chance to work on my lesson plan yesterday since the meeting we were supposed to have got cancelled. I am somewhat congested so took one of my claritin pills which usually help. Jana, ditto on what Andi said. My thoughts are with you and your family. My sister said she didnt even get a chance to say goodbye to our doctor. She had an earlier appointment with her on Thursday as well. She thought the doctor was going to come back in the room but she hadnt. Now she says she may go back just to say goodbye and to get the name and location of a doctor she recommended to her. So at least I did get to say goodbye to her. Have a great day!

Hello ROs, Andi, I can't wait to hear your opinion of the movie...what a life she had, and such a complicated one. That whole thing with the harassment complaint is interesting. We are having an issue with someone, and our office manager is completely blowing it off. I was told yesterday, that someone went over her head, and said something. I hope they deal with this idiot. Glad you are in an ok place with your WI and all. I am trying to be very diligent not to gain weight on this new med that I am on. I am down 10 lbs from last winter, but am working on the next 10, and just trying to eat nutritiously, and take the time to make a good variety of things. Janet, I hate losing a doctor that I like. It has happened to me a lot, being in the Army. I had a wonderful doctor here, but when I got divorced I lost the option of seeing her (she was at a military clinic). At least my daughters were able to go to her for their visits, for quite a while. Its funny, but now, her daughters are patients of mine at the office I work at! I hope you find another one you really like. I hope you are able to get some productive work done, on your portfolio. Jana, you are always in my thoughts....please don't forget to take care of yourself, and Robin, too. Keep in touch, as you can, and as you need or want to. I worked this morning, and it was an easy shift. Got out of there before 11. Then came home and got another side of my pool shed painted. I really like the color. It was really windy, but the leaves aren't blowing off the trees yet, so there was no problem with anything blowing on the paint. I'm doing the walls in a medium dark gray, and the trim in white. I hope to get it finished in the next few days off. The weather is supposed to turn rainy tomorrow night and Monday. I'm painting the sides that are most exposed to the weather, first. After I was done, I pretty much just came in and took it easy, and watched some football. Not sure what my plans for tomorrow are... Sleeping in, for sure though! I am going to go make some dinner. I have a leftover crab cake, and I'm making a little salad, with farm stand cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella pearls. The crab cake is HUGE, so I should be fine with just that. I hope everyone's weekend is going well. I am waving to all, and will be back tomorrow RobinMD
