I looked more than once to see if the thread had been started and did not see a thread so...voila. Not sure how the thread usually begins but figured it probably did not matter a great deal sine everyone knows what it should/usually says
I will: * journal every BLT accurately
* walk 20 minutes * hydrate * think before I eat
UPDATE ON BIL: He is up and about using his walker he can walk around the block. A friend drove him to my sister's art show and he made it around to all of the booths, talked ot the artists (also his friends) and sat to listen to live music for a little while. He is still on soft foods due to the hemicolectomy healing and not wanting to snag anything on the sutures but all in all is SO much better than he was before. My sister is happy she can leave him at home for awhile on his own and with friends coming in the next week she can perhaps take off a day or half day to do some regrouping and something just for her to regenerate a bit.
SUSI: How far do you have to walk to feed the ferals and what do you feed them? Do you take multiple dishes or do they eat from the ground or one dish? I can't imagine planning for April...though that said...would love to be buying a ticket to visit family ANY time in the future!
ANN: Hope you had a wonderful Sunday! BEARS? Oh my!!! I am glad they did not take an interest in you and that Lulu didn't bark at them!
BEE: I like pumpkin and pumpkin spice BUT always flavor pumpkin pie using the original spices not the mixed together ones. I don't FIND pumpkin pie spice in a jar so have to mix for recipes.
AUDREY: I am SURE you will have a great time in New York. Hope Laura woke in time to see museums and go to the play.
MJ: So, what DID you do with the day that became yours without any family obligations? I hope you had fun and relaxed and kicked back!
LADONNA: I am pretty sure you could do the Core/SFT thing if you wanted to. I shared Kippy's easy ideas for recipes that can be thrown together: wwmessageboard.freeforums.net/thread/28454/core-info-recipes-kippys-board AND at the top of the recipes board there is a list that mention's Heather's Core Recipes...I had saved them. ANYWAY...I am sure that with convenience foods you have in the USA it would be easier than here IF you decide to do it
BECKY: I am counting exchanges with the Core foods list and thinking about the extra calories eaten in terms of perhaps four or five a day or save for one day. So far so good. Will see how it goes. We are at the end of the road where we live and hear jackals often. I worry about Bella outside but with hubby so anti-animal-in-the-house it is not worth the tussle to bring her inside. None of our outdoor cats have lived longer than a couple of years while the ones that had the option of coming inside and were rescues from Beirut each lived seven or eight years.
JUNE: My husband is Lebanese and anti-animals in the house...they are "dirty" so no animals in the house. Last ones were sneaked in while he was traveling and he didn't have a big say in the matter. If your life is anything like my sister's when she got home with her husband...AND you are teaching...you are lucky you get any sleep and are able to see and think straight! Good to hear from you! So good to hear how well your husband is doing!
PAM: Know you enjoyed the time in Breckenridge. Hope settling in at home will go smoothly with the sugar cut

Good morning, Cathy - Amy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
This is one of our early days (need to be at Son#1's by 6:30 AM). DivaTaxi segues directly into FMR, then MHMR and LA-F. Naps will follow. Then MousekePickUP at 3:30. We're hoping that the rain does hold off until this evening, as predicted.
I got another Jury Duty notice, this one addressed to Jane Mary <!!!>. I will go on-line to fill out the questionnaire; let's see if I even get past the name. I served Petit Jury on 7/22/2019 - I located the pay stub - and I think I'm exempt from service for a while.
We had a peaceful Sunday (although the NASCAR race was pretty exciting). And we did get the grocery run done.
I need coffee... ☕☕☕...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

Welcome Amy Good plan Cathy. It's about a 10 minute walk to the marsh where the ferals are. Carol feeds them rotisserie chicken and then a mix of wet and dry food on week days. I feed them whatever I have leftover - yesterday was ham, steak and chicken - along with the mix on weekends. Gracie and Ginger are the original 2. Their mom was killed. Then Callie, the only one we haven't been able to trap, neuter and release, had a litter of 3 black and one orange. 2 of the blacks were killed by cars so just Blackie and Blondie are still there. Then Onyx who came from nowhere. Callie had 2 more litters but a neighbor at the end of the street was able to TNR them all and domesticate one of them. Early start MJ! Hope you get in your nap! Adjusting to life without Charlie is hard. DGF can't even come to the house, she is so distraught. So it is one foot in front of the other.
