TRACKIN' TUESDAY - Going to get back to journaling/tracking today! I also need to get back to my daily goals... three day weekends are NOT good for my "habits'! SO Yesterday: 100 oz water ❌ 5 F/V ✔️ No sugar ❌ No flour ❌ No wine ✔️ Journal ❌ No eating after 7 ✔️ Will work towards these goals better today! Including 7 out of 10 red dots!
I have salad for lunch today with chicken - and snacks can be protein shake and almonds... shopped both Saturday and yesterday and forgot to grab celery! I need to clean out my fridge today after work - it is too "cluttered"! I can't FIND anything!
I will leave work a little early for injections - should be my last "weekly" for a while... then get home to figure out the fridge and dinner! Will be another early night to bed for me - as I slept lousy the past 2 nights... so hopefully tonight I can actually get the sleep I need!
Let me refill my coffee and try to catch up ♥

Gabrielle: Thanks for starting us off yesterday! I have to say we had a good day - subject matter was BORING as all get out... but we stayed - listened - learned (some) - some folks opted to not show up at all yesterday - some left before lunch - others left after they ate the lunch! Just strange - again, IMHO if you sign up to attend you should attend! UGH! But the ones that left are salaried employees - so they get paid no matter where they are! So disrespectful - and (again IMHO) Makes the bank look bad! Anyway - whatever...
Ahhh, your Sunday dinner sounds wonderful! YAY for DS25 heading to OR to spend time with little brother! ♥Yes always nice to see them getting older but still hanging out! Ya' did good, Mom!
Sounds like a great way to get these educators together and able to visit this school district! WTG Gabrielle for organizing such a trip!
LOL The "retirement" news is, it is what it is and we will make it work! I am not going to work more years in the hopes of living long enough to travel more - or "have more"... our only "plan" is to have a small place down south and a small place up here (with or without Tracy) and be able to split our time. Not exactly "snowbirds" as we are not interested in being away the WHOLE winter... we don't care if we own or rent - just that we live within our means and live long enough to enjoy it a while!
Yesterday's info was "EHH"... much of it was designed for people who make different money that I do - that's for sure.! Talking about the couples that have a combined "asset level" of over $2M... HA! They also suggested if you are over 50 you put $19k aside yearly between now and retirement... ummm... helloooo... $19,000.00 a year?? NOT happening... guess we will retire more modestly than most people... then again - big money is never our goal in life... we want to live - travel some - and just enjoy life!
Anyway - yes, the travel snafu was "forgotten"... and we enjoyed a couple of drinks at the evening reception - then went to the tub... I read for a while - then got TERRIBLE stomach cramps and diarrhea... SORRY TMI... anyway - I didn't get a lot of sleep - up several times... not sure if it was something I ate? Had a light breakfast - then not much to eat/drink at the seminar... felt OK by the time I got home- but had a quick supper, and off to bed! Just hate being away from home and feeling so wary about my stomach issues! Today I feel OK... but tired... catching up with me the 2nd day... and need to get back to NORMAL eating... I think the football pot luck didn't "sit well"... as it was heavier food than I am used to having?? Maybe that's all it was??

LOL Yes, I am wearing sneakers to work - will change shoes when I get there - but will have the sneakers for a quick walk on lunch/break... will have to be quick as I have to leave early today!
So excited for DS20 starting classes - getting involved - and doing well {{{hugs}}}
Lisa: YAY for getting to Chicago and being there with the birthday girl ♥ Love when Grampas/Papas can get down on the floor and just play with the kiddos!
Hmmm does sound like an interesting way of moving files... but I guess it is what it is! Hope it went smoothly!
Sue: YES! Spending time with Hannah and the boys - and getting your steps... pedicures sound fun for you both! Hope something fun was planned for after school! Heck even doing homework with them will be fun for a change!
Eh, like I said it is what it is... with no mortgage payment/taxes on this house - our retirement will be a bit easier... the money from selling this house will either go into a trust to pay our rent somewhere - or we will buy something MUCH smaller and more affordable - we don't plan to retire "wealthy" just enough to be comfortable! Yesterday actually ticked me off a bit - I think they should know their audience better - and NOT be talking like we all make $150k a year now! because I sure as Heck don't! But whatever... we don't plan on world travel or living the high life - we just need to be "comfortable"!
OH we had BEAUTIFUL weather in Framingham yesterday - apparently it rained here all.day.long... but down there every time I took a break and walked the outside of the building it was a beautiful day! When we got out (shortly before 3) it was 78 degrees and sunny!! Got into the rain about an hour from home!
Lisa: We do have a plan... and thinking about my folks who died before they could follow their plan - sets me in the mindset of retire when we can and enjoy what time we may have left!
UGH I always have trouble uploading pictures and stuff to this site! Sue is the master of that!
Shelly: LOL The week just wen KAPUT! Sorry boss is still in and out... I am still sure he is not questioning what you are doing - but just has time on his hands... probably just wants to get out of the house - away from the wife! LOL
YAY for seeing progress at the gym!!

SO TRACKIN' TUESDAY... B: 20 oz water, Coffee S: Protein Bar, 40 oz decaf green tea L: Salad w/ grilled chicken, dressing, 32 oz seltzer S: Almonds, protein shake D: Chicken, veggies... brown rice??
This should get my system back on track...
I will also try to get away from my desk to get 7 out of 10 dots for steps... and take a quick walk around the block on break! Deb is off this week - so today could be a "harried" kind of day... not sure how Aleta did yesterday with both of us gone... so there may be some "Cleaning up" to do from that - but, what gets done gets done - as long as I get Deb's daily download to accounting by 11, life is good! Since I am on vacation next week - I also need to get a handle on my month end reports (September) this week - so I may very well end up working late one day this week - just not sure what day that could be! LOL Today is injections - Thursday is hair appointment - tomorrow is PT, but during the day - so I could stay later after work... we'll see how it plays out... hoping to not have to stay late ANY day... so need to focus when I get to work and just get-it-done! LOL
TRACK IT TODAY Ladies - just for laughs... get your tracker dusted off and see how it looks! Gotta get back on track someday - why not today???
♥hugs♥

Good morning!
Yep, Trackin' Tuesday it is...and heading for Track in about 30 minutes. It is SUPER smokey here -- I think that they are doing some back burning? Not sure...there are a couple of smaller fires a ways away. Anyway, we have all been notified that there is a high likelihood that our power will be turned off for multiple days by the power company. High winds, dry air means higher likelihood of a fire starting if something touches the power lines. People are pretty grouch about it...but, at the same time, a lot of finger pointing has happened at the power company causing fires here in CA. So, this is what will happen. I am travelling, by tour bus, to the central valley to spend the night and visit schools tomorrow. When I return, we may have no power until Saturday....uggh. Anyway....
Carole: Well, glad that your plans for retirement were confirmed. I am with you....DH's parents passed away never having travelled anywhere but one time to AZ for a farming conference. We are set on me retiring at a decent age and doing some travelling and we do not need to live the high life either. I am so happy that you can see this coming for you as I know that you have looked forward to it for a long time! Yes, thanks---SO, SO happy about the boys seeing each other. DS25 said he got them tickets right by the student section so that DS20 could see what it was like I hope that work isn't too crazy today! I didn't realize that you had next week off...I thought it was later in the month (around your birthday). Nice! October is a GREAT time to have some days off. Uggh...sorry about the stomach issues. Yep, too much heavy food sounds like it could cause it. You are right too...so much better to be at home when you feel like that! Glad that it is better and that you can adjust back to normal eating, sleeping, etc. Good for you for taking your sneakers! That walk outside will be invigorating-- enjoy! Hope that you have a great day, my friend!

Lisa: Sounds like a wonderful day in Chicago celebrating Kennedy's bday! I look forward to the pictures and ditto to what Carole said--Sue is much better at knowing how to do it. Glad that you and DH got out for a walk yesterday too!! Sounds like nice fall-like weather for you! By the way, the Chicago Marathon is coming up on my list....might try for next year? Not sure yet. Will let you know! Hope that you have a good day!
Sue: Nice--a pedicure and great family time! So glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself and the weather is cooperating!
Shelly: Uggh to the boss hanging out...sorry about that. Good for you for getting the workout in though! Hope that today is a good day for you and can start with a workout
Hello to Christine, Jenny, and all who follow. Need to get moving. Had to pack for the gym (getting ready for work after Track) and for the overnight trip so need to double check and make sure that I have everything. Have a good day, ladies! I will think about tracking....and try! Maybe the WW app? There are some new things there...

Good morning! I finally got the avatar to work on the computer this morning so you can at least see a little picture of Kennedy. Work, then Greg has a foot/ankle dr appt and a library board meeting tonight but I think I have dinner planned out. Greg's foot was sore this morning, maybe because the walk around the lake was a gravel path not a paved one. But planning in all aspects is good. No time for personals, I have 30 minutes to get out the door and my hair is still wet. Good to hear about the retirement planning - we are very lucky that we can stay on our state insurance till we turn 65. That has saved us, along with part time employment.
Waving, BBL!

Quick good morning before heading to the store for birthday party shopping. Will take a walk after we get back....there is a great walking/bike path in Hannah’s neighborhood that we can hop on in minutes. Will head the opposite direction today and see what is the other way....it’s about 2 miles to the overpass, then back so it will be a nice walk.
Won’t head up to school this afternoon since Hannah has the boys teacher conferences after school...they are student led so the boys will participate...we will just hang out here then head outside for some kickball or T-ball before dinner!
Not much going on today! Will try and read and pop in later!

Evening all....worked later than I wanted to but that seems to happen almost everyday. Might have mentioned yesterday we have some new stuff coming in next week so had to move stuff around so I started on that and then the health inspector showed up so I had to follow him around 🤬😡. Then got back after my reset and the pumpkin 🎃 guy showed up so had to stop and unload 120 pumpkins 🎃. Well I didn’t handle them much but had to guide more than handle Did end up doing more on the last half. Anyway was about 6:30 before I left. Got to get up and work out in the morning.
Carole glad you was able to go to the retirement meeting. Sorry you ended up not feeling to well. Wow!!!! Can’t believe they acted like they was talking to the very wealthy. I am just hoping to live comfortably but I’m a little worried about that. We don’t have a retirement any more. Trying to pay off the house and car and the hoping to put a little back. I will be 50 in May but will be a couple more years before the house is paid off. I am sure I will have to work at least until full retirement age before I can even think about it!!! I have worked consistently since I was 28 so by retirement I will have almost 40 years straight (if current job holds out) plus off and on from age 16.
How did your tracking go? Still no tracking on my end but I can say since I started working out I am a little better and more conscious Not perfect but in my mind I am doing better I think 🤔😬
Gabrielle have you guys had very many fires this year. DDIL Lezli said fire season has been light so far in NV. Just wondered about you guys. That stinks they will have to shut off power but that would be better than having fires. So not sure why Boss man Lane is hanging out so much but wish he’d find another hobby lol. No it’s all good. He’s been ok with everything just seems anxious.
Lisa I changed mine today too. Decided to put a pic of little Hank. Gosh he is just to cute!!!
Sue your time with the kiddos. Glad you had some vacation time Thanks for popping in and saying Hi.
Ok time for bed. I can barely keep my eyes open. Catch you all later.
