Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Will be going to my Weight Loss class at the Y today. Topic is Getting to Know Your Environment. Iām curious to see if we lost any people in the class.
Weāve been having a great fall season in WNY. Today and tomorrow are still going to be wonderfully sunny and cool, rain expected on Saturday. Enjoying the high 50s and low 60s. Yep, my favorite season.
Young man was called into the GMs office yesterday. Apparently my boss mentioned that he still strolls in late and doesnāt answer the phone like the rest of us, isnāt keeping up with his work. Basically GM said is the last time heās going to have the conversation with him. If he hears about anything again, heās out. So he wanted to leave a early last night to study and asked me if it was ok. I just looked at him and said he needed to let the boss know, Iām just a coworker. He finally did text her and all was ok. Iām sure he will stick to his schedule, for the next few weeks at least.
Other cashier and I were talking about closet switching. She is pretty much doing the same thing I am, has a plastic bag nearby to toss unwanted clothes in, and is playing ādress upā to figure out what to keep. I not only have ganging clothes, but stuff on shelf and in the floor. Hopefully all will be finished by Monday.
Enjoy your day

Good morning all. I was up at 7 to get to the dentist by 8. Not sure why I bothered since they did nothing but X-ray the tooth and the dentist actually spent more time looking at my implant (the one that popped out 3 times)!!! I have an appt. on Dec. 2 to get it fixed! Really! I canāt believe heās that busy!! They have changed their hours to like 7:00 am to 3:30 a couple days and 8:00 - 4:30 2 others and are closed Friday. But they are only a mile away, so guess weāll stick with them. We like the new dentist ok, but think he should think about getting an associate.
It had rained overnight when I went out and itās grey and yucky out. We are to start getting a rain/snow mix later today and continuing off and on thru Saturday. Yuck!!! Iām just not ready for this weather or time of year!
I need to get back downstairs and sort kid clothes. DD told me about a family at one of the girlsā schools, that the father took his children w/o anything and left an abusive spouse. She is having the girls sort thru their toys and books to donate as there is a 5 yr old girl. And Iām pulling out size 5 girls winter clothing to donate. Will get those to DD this weekend. We are to get Harper sometime Saturday to spend the night. Sawyerās 6th birthday is Sunday, and she is having her BFF sleep over Saturday night. They no longer go to the same school, so donāt get to see each other very much. That is what Sawyer wanted instead of a party. Weāll join them Sunday sometime for another sushi dinner. I know what to expect this time so can make good choices. And leave points for a cupcake and small dish of ice cream.
Ok, I hear Mara waking up so going to get her milk ready and go get her. Will bbl to check in. Hockey to watch tonight too. Sure hope they play better than they have in their 1st 2 games.

Joyce, I canāt believe that the guy asked to leave early after being in a meeting with the GM. He doesnāt sound very dedicated to the job. Did you hear any more about the guy wanting to bring in a support dog? Iām sure you will soon be finished with the closet swap as dedicated to it you are.
Ruth, that is a long wait to get your tooth fixed, hope it isnāt bothering you. Happy birthday to Sawyer, my DGD is 4 today. It is very windy here and we are supposed to get lots of rain but so far the āSā word hasnāt been mentioned. Nice that you can help out the family with some of the extra clothes.
I got home from DSs house about 6 last night but was very tired. It was a nice day with the boys, it seems that having the two of them or just DGD by herself works fine but when the 3 of them together it can get chaotic. We are going to meet some out of town friends for dinner tonight. We have known them for over 40 years. He was able to āwork from homeā so years ago hey transferred back to the Seattle area because both of their moms were having medical issues. He is retired now. Their oldest son still lives in CT and their youngest son lives in Pennsylvania. So they are back in the area at least once a year and they have been down to Florida to see us a few times. It will be great to catch up.
