Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Plans for lots of closet cleaning and CBing today. It’s a beautiful day, windows open letting the fresh air in. I’ll have the tv on in the background to keep me company.
6 people dropped out of the class at the Y. Smaller group, but we’re all on board with what the class is teaching us. Yesterday we talked environment, kitchen, living room, office, bedroom, etc. How those areas affect out weight loss and what we can do to change them. Great discussion. My biggest challenge is the office, especially now with Halloween coming up. Lots of candy for customers and staff. And I do way too much sitting. My plan is to have fruit available when I want to have candy, and I’m going to make a conscious decision to walk around the back office and get in extra steps.
Gotta get moving. Bbl

Joyce, your class sounds very interesting and helpful. Getting up and walking is a good distraction and helpful in getting steps in for the day. You are doing great with all of your CBing. I need to get back in the groove. I did find a grocery bag of books that need to go the library for the book sale, may do that this afternoon if it isn’t raining.
I just signed up for a painting class at the senior center. This is one where everyone in class is working on the same project. I am so unartistic so the instructor will really have her work cut out for her with me. I am always fascinated to watch someone paint a picture and see how it turns out, so this is something I have wanted to try. Our dinner out with friends last night was fun. We were in the restaurant for almost 3 hours, it wasn’t busy so they didn’t bother us about leaving, plus we left a real nice tip.

Good morning all. Cold (30’s) outside and it rained hard all night! So I’m inside lounging around when I should be doing something. I will go out this afternoon to my haircut.
Joy, that sounds like a great class and extra support for you!!! Keep up the good work on your CB’ing! Have you stopped wearing your Fitbit? Maybe wear it again and it will remind you to get your 250 steps every hour. I’ve been trying to get up when mine dings and move! Not always successful but it gives you 10 minutes warning to get the 250! What is your daily step goal?
Dottie sounds like you had a great visit with your friends. We stay like that too if the restaurant isn’t busy and we tip well also for the privilege. Nice that they come to Florida to visit you also. Gets them out of the cold snowy northwest too!!!
I’m going to get moving shortly and get downstairs and sort more of the clothing so it’s ready to give the 5’s & 6’s to DD tomorrow when we get Harper. Harper will enjoy watching the Ninja Warrior finals and the matches leading up to it. And she likes to watch Magic shows with Papa.
Have a good day all. Will check in later.

Hi Joyce, Dottie and Ruth. I haven't been here in forever and I could not remember my password. I had to re register. I hope everyone is doing ok. Dh and I are doing okay. No new surgeries for him since last year. I will try to check in more often. Take care!

Jill, so happy to see your post. Also happy to hear that you and your DH are okay and no new surgeries. We all worried about how you were doing. I’m still plugging away at CBing, mainly getting rid of some things (not enough) but being very careful of what we buy and bring home. Stop in when you can and thank you for letting us know how you are doing.

Jill, so happy to see you checking in. We have all worried about you, your DH, and your DSis. Glad to hear things are ok for your DH and you. Please do check in periodically and let us know how you are doing.
We are still busy watching our 22 mo. old DGD, Mara. And cb’ing all the baby stuff she’s outgrown!!!
