I can: move, hydrate, journal, have a fruit and/or vegetable at every meal, track ghgs/exchanges, think positive, not give up
Quiet day at home. Made spinach in tomato sauce and had some on pasta yesterday and may have some on a baked potato for lunch or dinner today. I need to see what is in the frig and what is not then make a list of what to buy. I read two books set in 1938/9 England with a detective inspector in charge of antisemitism/fascist outbreaks with some side stories and a murder in each book to be solved. In some ways it reminds me of Foyle's War but with a different focus/twist. The books "feel old" in style but are well done. The first one rambled a bit and the second was a bit more focused. The author said he is learning with each book he writes. Hope to talk to children and granddaughters this eveninb via Skype. It will be a good day.
SUSI: I do my best on the food choices on MFP. I have input data for local ingredients I use often here in Lebanon and try to buy ingredients that have nutritional information on the package. I am never sure with the fruits and vegetables. I decided to start weighing on the scale and may start keeping a notebook or document with some of those items. I found out one feijoa has about 10 grams and ten make 100 grams and each gram has 1 point sort of thing and now weigh persimmon pulp when I eat it since I scoop it out and eat it with a spoon anyway. So...will keep plugging along and see how it goes. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the birthday celebrations, food and time spent with friends. You will get back where you were and know how to do it! Sounds like you are rolling up the summer carpet to prepare for winter. Does your pool disassemble for winter storage? It reminds me of animals preparing to hibernate with all you need to get ready for the colder weather. Where was the granite? Can you use it somewhere else or is it just better to get rid of it?
ANN: I still don't even need a sweater BUT did start wearing pajamas with sleeves though windows are open at night and light covers used. I think it is supposed to be warm this week...no idea when rain and cooler weather will arrive...maybe not till November! I hope you have a good day with Sheila if you go to visit her. Glad you enjoyed the longer walk in the neighborhood now that the weather is nicer.
MJ: How was the WW workshop...any hints of change in the wind or from the front of the room? I hope the weather and stress subside so you can enjoy and relax. The 14 year old looks big for his age...or perhaps it is a small car I am glad the sessions are helping with behavior in classes and do understand why parents would want their child to assimilate with society. Some do well being home schooled while others do have trouble later being able to be in social settings. I hope it all works out - sounds like this year is better than last year...hope so.
BEE: I know on my ereader the colors and brightness can be changed. I looked on my little laptop to see if it can be adjusted but so far have only found the lighter-darker setting and not a background change. I read a lot these days and it is all on the computer so...not sure what I would do if I had to change things up. I hope the doctor has good news and that resting your eyes will help.
PAM: Good to see you are still on track and racking up those blue dots!
LADONNA: I never understood my husband's need to go to EVERY shop in town before buying an item. He compared and dickered and then often returned to the first shop we had gone to. I eventually opted out of the shopping trips...not my thing at all. It sounds like a busy day for you. Hope you managed staying OP for the rest of the day 0 point foods used to help with that. Hooray for the win that beat the third ranked team! I remember a bridal shower or two...not sure they even do them in Lebanon and have never been invited to one in this country.
AUDREY & BECKY: Hope you are enjoying the weekend! Hope EVERYONE has something to look forward to this weekend!

Congrats on the new vehicle LaDonna Ann - Glad you had a good time with friends Cathy - Good plan. My late husband was a contractor. When he remodeled the kitchen, we could not afford granite but his supplier gave us free reign with the off cuts. So I have mosaic granite counter tops. The leftovers (and they were substantial) were hidden behind a fence in the back. I had the fence taken down several months ago and have been slowly getting rid of the garbage that had been hidden behind it. Yes, the pool can be disassembled and stored for the winter. Skinless buffalo wings and baked jalapeno (still from the garden!) poppers will be part of football food today. Off to feed the ferals and then take a spin class.

Haven't been up long. Had a late night waiting on DD to come home. Will drink my coffee and take a walk. I may skip church this morning. Got a lot going on today. I have food to fix for the bridal shower and while there is a mobile unit in our little town I need to take our dog to get a rabies booster. I really need to stay OP today. I've really been LOOSELY on plan lately and the scale is reflecting such.
Ann, so glad you had a great time with friends. the brownie sounds worth it. I love a good gooey brownie.
Cathy, hope you get to communicate with your family. technology sure is wonderful for that! I'm reading a book currently called the Rock, the Road and the Rabbi by Kathie Lee Gifford. I've been struggling to get thru it as its not usually the type of book I read and when I get a chance to read its usually late and I get so sleepy. Its a book I'm reading with a women's group I belong to. My DH usually hates to shop but with this purchase he wanted to check out all his options.
Susi, I would love to have granite counter tops. yours sound beautiful and unique. how wonderful you're still getting harvest from your garden!

Good morning, Ann - Cathy - Susi - LaDonna - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
Maybe it was from postponing the coffee... but I went back to bed and got up at 8 AM... <yay!>.
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂
Yesterday's WW workshop (topic: tips to respond to stress) was so similar to the previous week (at least in the coach's direction for the workshop) that my GF commented that we always go over the same stuff again and again, ad infinitum, ad nauseum. <meh>. I DID have to avoid Manhattan Bagel, as some of our crew made One Last Breakfast with a gal who's returning to meetings <er> workshops.
The Kressling & the Zigster arrived around noon. The Zigster stayed until after late dinner (around 8 PM) and the Kressling's still sawin' wood. They had a good afternoon and evening, including having Italian take-away for dinner; the Zigster surprised me with how much of his spaghetti & meatballs he finished, and the Kressling, of course, finished off a really nice chicken parmigiana & linguine (his "birthday meal" choice).
Today I'll take the Kressling to soccer practice for 2 PM (the travel team he just tried out for). His Ciocie Shell will pick him up for 3:30 PM and take him away for HER birthday overnight with him (there's no school tomorrow).
So our day is a bit flexible, but will include a lesson in how to set up the microphone and amp for next Saturday's YM Ball.
Now that I'm committed to being awake, I need my coffee... ☕☕☕...
🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

MJ, birthday dinner sounds good. We were schedule to have the day off tomorrow at my school district but its a make up day due to us being out a few weeks ago when Hurricane Dorian came thru. Hope the amp/microphone is easy to get set up.
I just got a pot of 0 pt soup going. tomatoes (canned from this summer's garden), an orange pepper, an onion, some okra Randy just picked out of a friend's garden, one yellow squash and one zucchini...the pot could not hold any more! Got the meatballs in the crockpot for the shower later today. I still have to make the buffalo chicken dip but it is coming together.

Sounds to me like you are getting back OP with the pot of veggie soup. Great job. MJ that would be my 'meal of choice' for a bday celebration. Enjoy your flexible day I had coffee and breakfast. We will have an early supper of meat sauce sausage and pasta. I will have to REALLY watch portions..... Take care, all

Ann - Brownies are my weakness. Fortunately all the bakery ones around here are covered with icing which I don't like so I rarely indulge. Enjoy your dinner. LaDonna - Sounds like you are getting things together. Enjoy the shower! Wish I liked soup more. MJ - Glad they enjoyed their dinner. Hope getting things set up is easy.

Cathy, enjoy Skyping with your family. LaDonna, enjoy the shower. Susi, we are also getting the outdoors ready for cooler weather. I have to clean patio furniture and put the covers on this week. MJ, after so many years members can lead workshops as well as the leaders. Enjoy your day. Ann, you do very well balancing your splurges, and the important thing is to enjoy what you choose.
Mary seemed to have a good time with us last night. She went to sleep exactly when I told her it was lights out and ate a big breakfast this morning. DH and I are going to Castle Air Museum in Merced, a parkway party, for a picnic lunch and tour of the museum which will be two hours of military history at this former Air Force base.
Hi to Bee, Pam, June and Becky.

Audrey, the museum sounds really interesting. glad the visit with Mary was a good one.
I like brownies with frosting or without unfortunately. Chicfila used to have good brownies and theirs had frosting. They no longer make them here. They were replaced with chocolate chip cookies which are also very good.
Ann, your cool screen room and coffee sounds wonderful!

Slept in this morning and then have started more laundry. Not much on the agenda today except watching football. I’ll also get the kitchen cleaned up. Of course I’ll continue KOKO with healthy eating, tracking, hydrating and moving. I’m smiling as I focus on blue.
Have a healthy day everyone.
