Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
I never got around to posting yesterday. It was a nice day, so I went to the Pumpkin Farm to just walk around and enjoy the weather. It wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be. They have a lot of activities for kids to enjoy. My favorite part is the pumpkin bleacher. Hundreds of pumpkins all placed on a bleacher-like structure. It’s huge. Kids love it. I did have some apple cider and a donut, but I was good about not eating the candy in work so I didn’t feel guilty.
On Saturday one of the gals from the business office was helping out for the financial assistant who is on vacation. We got to talking and I found out that she just rejoined WW. Other cashier rejoined 2 weeks ago and convinced her and 3 other gals from the business office to rejoin. I thought about it, they had a nice 3 month special going on, so I rejoined WW this morning. And one of the service advisors is trying to lose weight too. I decided to go to meetings, online only didn’t work for me. And I’ll be there for the rollout of the new programs. Between the program at the Y and WW I hope to get back to my personal goal weight. My meeting will be on Wednesday morning.
Have a couple of loads of laundry going today, mostly towels and pjs. Picking up in the living room. That’s about it.
Ruth - enjoyed the pics. Looked pretty chilly out.
See ya tomorrow

Joyce, sounds like a good plan to rejoin WW. It is always nice when there are other people trying to work the program also. The pumpkin farm sounds nice, we haven’t bought pumpkins in years. The squirrels and chipmunks ruin them so we quit buying them.
Waving to Ruth, enjoyed the pictures. It looked cold.
Beautiful day here, although it started out very cloudy. Bill had to go into his old office to update his computer. He really doesn’t plan on working much longer for the company but his boss said to get the upgrade because there might be a project or two next year for him. He still hasn’t finished the project for this year, it doesn’t need to be done till the end of the year.

Woohoo - Sabre’s are on a nice winning streak. They are 5-0-1, got at least a point every game. A friend of mine went to this afternoons game, can’t wait to hear all about it.
One of the lot boys at the dealership popped his kneecap. He’s on crutches, and is sitting at the desk next to the other young man. They are both doing scanning and answering phones. Oh boy!
DB and DSIL should be home tomorrow. Can’t wait. They’ve been texting and sending pics. Lots of spectacular colors on the trees. They were in Vermont yesterday.
Other cashier is taking off time Christmas week. Since I no longer get paid for holidays, I’m going to work extra hours that week. She’s also off on Black Friday, I’m working a short shift that day too. Won’t be OT, but I won’t lose hours either. It’s going to work out great.
See ya tomorrow

Good late evening. Didn’t realize I hadn’t been on here today. I left this morning and went to DD’s and helped her go thru the girls’ clothes. When we were there Saturday there were 3 overflowing baskets of clean laundry. Stuff gets so wrinkled. Doesn’t seem to bother her. Anyway, she had most of it folded by the time I got there. Then while I sorted all the un-mated socks for all 4 of them, she pulled all the clothes on hangers out of Harper’s closet and put all the summer clothing away. Then she did the same for Sawyer’s and I helped put outfits for winter on hangers for both of them. So their closets and dressers are changed over for the winter; and I brought home the clothing to sell/donate. Including a lot of Sawyer’s socks which she never wears because she must have had 40 pairs in her sock bin. She got new ones and got all of Harper’s when she outgrew them.
Then tonight I was working on updating the baby clothing on the website and taking out the clothing that I’m taking with this weekend for our older DGDs’ good friend’s baby girl. Got a text from a gal asking about 12 mo sleepers and she wants 10 of them and will pick up in the morning first thing. And then I’m dropping off some baby books I sold the gal who has bought hundreds of $$ worth of stuff over the years. So it was a productive night.
Joy, the girls picked out pumpkins at the pumpkin patch on Saturday. And it was cold! The enclosure we were in is just plastic over a metal frame with 1 space heater. And it was a cold damp rain!! And rained hard for about 10 min while we were in there! In the picture Sawyer was unhappy she had to wait a few minutes longer to go get lunch and get to open her presents from us.
Welcome back to WW! You will have a great support system at work. That will make it so much easier when you have the meals they bring in and when there is candy and all. Great job!!! Nice that you can get the extra hours when you want them.
Dottie, hope you have started sleeping better. Wish my DH was still working part time. Or on the radio or something.
Stan was in AFib for 24 hours again. From when he got up yesterday morning until about 9:30 this morning. So to celebrate he went out and ran another 6.2 miles with Maggie since the sun was shining and I was gone.
We picked up Mara and will have her until Thursday morning. Then after that on Thursday Stan will get his hearing aids. Can hardly wait.
ok, going to bed. The one gal will be here right after 9 am when she drops her son off at the elementary about 1/2 mile from us. So I’ll need to be up and dressed and ready to roll. More tomorrow!!!
