Linda, I am sure all three of you are happy to get back to a more regular routine. Did you get the yard mowed? I just went through the ragweed season, so I feel your pain. Mold is high now and I get the sniffles and sneezes but not the congestion, cough and headaches that ragweed beings on and that you are suffering through now. Hang in there. Liz, I am glad you got to see the primary. I am surprised, like Karen, that the other docs did not keep him up to date. My primary always knows when I have had a test, gone to the ER, etc. Stairs are harder at our age even without the surgeries you have had. I often one step it down in the morning when I am still stiff. It sounds like you are making great progress and good the ItBandz is helping your knee. Good news that the telecommuting was approved. No birdies yet that I have seen. Karen, no matter what I do I canāt get that picture to post upright. It is our ash tree from 2 years ago. The last 2 autumns have been too warm for good color. Yesterday was grouch day in general but it was created to honor Oscar. I donāt think Maddie will tell Chimney anything until she or the other woman need to be ārescuedā. I though that what she did might be illegal. Yes, Buckās attorney is smarmy and I wondered how it would work if he does sue successfully and get his job back. There would be bad feelings. I assume a bagel is a beagle Bassett mix. I though her markings were really different from any Bassett I had ever seen. Sorry to hear about the crown. I hope you have good dental insurance. Itās good you didnāt have to cook. Waving to Kathy and Becky. I did desk work this morning plus fought with the insurance app trying to refill Iggyās meds. I finally got it to work. I was glad to get to my workout after that. I have got the cabbage soup simmering.iggy said he didnāt want any so I am making it for lunch. He is having leftovers for dinner, because I only cook once a day.

Chele, achoo to hugging a kitty! FSU getting clobbered seems to be the norm lately whenever we play a ranked team. I have low expectations going into the games, so I'm not that disappointed when we lose. I was disappointed for UCF though since they had a promising season. I hope you get some visitors to the feeders soon. I'm jealous of being able to put a feeder out, but I do have lots of birds around here due to the pond. Pretty picture. Is it sideways for you or is it just me? I hope Mr. Lemon enjoys his new quarters. I had my annual eye exam yesterday, so didn't get a chance to post.
Linda, glad Bob is doing so well after the surgery. You deserved to have a nice day yesterday! Liz, glad to hear they approved the telecommuting. Your commute and hours are brutal, so I'm sure not having to go into the city right away will help with your recovery. Karen, DN would like a change from FL weather, so that's part of the reason he's hoping for the VA job. The one he just interviewed for is in Houston and the other one he applied for is at the Kennedy Space Center. That's about an hour from here, so he would be able to commute. I thought of you when I saw the basset commercial the other day. It's cute. I hadn't heard of a bagel. Is that a beagle and basset combo? Becky, I rejoined WW this weekend and I'm curious about the new program too. I've seen the rumors on the new free foods list, so it will be interesting to see what's actually on it.

Good afternoon Chicks and no hugging of the felines here for me,
Chele - enjoy the cabbage soup for lunch. We are expecting stormy weather with high winds and rain starting later this afternoon. I got my outdoor walking laps done and have PT early this evening. I think the problem with information getting to the primary is they all have different MR systems. I'll look forward to hearing when the feeders do get visitors. I thought Maddie definitely stepped over a line and Buck was just being stupid. How the heck do you think you can go back to that kind of work while on blood thinners? Bleed out much from an injury??
Linda - good that the Claritin helped. Those are very uncomfortable symptoms to deal with regularly. Glad you had a good day yesterday. I need to make an eye doc appointment. I use readers regularly but might need something finally for distance. How's Bob doing?
Kathy - will keep my fingers crossed that DN gets where he wants to go. DS is having a huge tag sale this weekend to clear out her garage of a bit of her own stuff but a lot of the items taken from SM's house that she ended up with. I will have to hear what you and Becky think of the new WW program before making any decisions.
Becky - try to get some rest with having that feeling of fatigue. Sometimes we actually need to listen to our bodies. I have learned that one the hard way. Glad that the fur babies and Kenneth are doing well. I'll depend on you to give those feline hugs to the kitties .
Karen - not great news on the molar and crown. Hope your knees are feeling a bit better. Ironically, my right knee is more painful currently thank my hip; go figure. Did you get all your succulents transplanted into the pots you wanted? I spoke to the "leave management" company this morning and they only need the actual date I will be returning to work telecommuting. I reached back out to my boss to find out what he might need and filled out the request form again. Sounds like many folks are not happy at the hospital lately. So many changes and a really bad case of not walking the talk.
I am going to get the ice packs off and head to the grocery for a few items. Hope everyone has a safe and good day! Ciao for now dear ladies~

Thanks for the start, Chele. The tree is very pretty, even if it's sideways. I think you're right that Maddie won't let Chimney know what's happening until she needs rescued. I can tell you that even if Buck gets his job back, it wouldn't be at the 118 and the other companies wouldn't be that welcoming either in real life, after the ruckus he's creating. Once you've done something like that, even if you win, you live a hard work life. Yes, a basset-beagle mix is a "bagel". The coloring wasn't what stood out for me as much as the ear length. A true basset's ears should touch the end of his/her nose. Those ears are way too short to do that. I hope I have good dental insurance so I guess we'll see. I don't think I've had more than a filling with this dentist andended up having to pay about half the cost with my former insurance. Sorry you had to fight over Iggy's prescriptions. What a pain! How was the cabbage soup? Cooking once a day sounds like a lot to me. We eat lots of leftovers.
Liz, I did some research on the Mealthy CrispLid and it looks like a winner. I also looked at the way other air fryers work and this is essentially the same. So I'll keep an eye out on Amazon on a daily deal. I heard about the storm that's coming. Tonight's Yankees-Astros game may be postponed as a result of it. I've thought the same thing about Buck and the blood thinners. Nice guy but young and stupid. And, I guess his sister the nurse hasn't convinced him of the risks. In my paramedic days, it was common to get cuts, scrapes, fractured a finger once, had to have stitches. And being a firefighter is even worse. I'm not surprised, with the volume of paperwork you have to deal with and all that screen time, that you are frequently in readers. My distance vision is good enough that I don't legally need glasses to drive, but my eye doc said it does help with reaction time, so I wear them anyway. Not good that your knee is more painful than your recently repaired hip. Mine are still somewhat painful and I hope that will subside for my Friday hike. I still have a few succulents to plant but the weather hasn't been cooperative. Today it's kind of windy so I don't want soil blowing everywhere. The temps are also dropping and the combo isn't good. Succulents are so forgiving that I can keep them in their current pots and they'll do fine. Sorry things at St. Crazy don't seem to be improving any. I know what you're hearing doesn't make you any happier about the prospect of returning to work in about a month.
That must be a HUGE binder, Linda. Potato chips AND a donut?? Scandalous!! Was the donut from TJ's? It's a bit out of my way, but I think I need to stop at TJ's tomorrow after Osteo for a few things I only seem to be able to find there.
Kathy, VA would definitely give DN a change from FL weather. And, if the Farmers' Almanac is correct, he would get a doozy this winter. I'm not sure Houston would be that different because it's hot and humid there, too. I'm anxous to hear you and Becky talk about the changes to WW and I hope they are workable.
How's your body battery, Becky? My HR was bizarre on the rowing machine this morning like it was on the treadmill on Monday, but in the opposite direction. At one point, it said my HR was 204. Probably was only around 120. I think that tanked my body battery, so my current 16 probably isn't particularly accurate. Did you get your cold front? Any rain? What is Scooter doing in response to the weather?
We had a very nice rainy morning so Arya has been pretty mellow. Dale went to a trail to run and lucked out because it stopped raining shortly after he got there, where it was pouring for a couple of hours here. It's sunny now but windy with dropping temps. Supposed to be 30s and 40s for lows the next couple of nights. We went from blistering to freeing in a couple of weeks. Weird weather!

Thanks for the start Chele.Have you ever tried hugging a cat?I wouldn't recommend it with their claws.LOL.I haven't tried using an app to refill my prescriptions yet.Usually HEB sends me an automated call when it's time to refill.
Kathy So far I'm finding freestyle livable. The zero point foods listed from what I understand are probably for the smart points or green plan.I think freestyle(the blue plan)is staying the same and the simply filling plan or the purple plan is not really simply filling. No ff milk, yogurt or bread is considered 0 points. They have a list of like 63 different kinds of fish from what I understand and any potato or grain as long as it isn't bread which is why I guess there will be around 300 foods on that list. There is a person called N is for nurse who is on YouTube and maybe Instagram and Lisa Woods also known as dumpy to diva with videos but nothing is official yet.I think Australia is starting it on 10/28 so maybe we will find out before hand.I will still double track calories on Lose It.
Liz No way am I hugging my felines. They have sharp claws.
Karen I found my old Fitbit Charge 3 so I've been using it today.I remember why I quit using it and that's because it doesn't give me a correct calorie burn for my bike workout. So I have charged my Garmin and will go back to it tomorrow.Hopefully it will stay paired to the app.I will get 10K in but not the usual amount of steps I normally get with my Garmin. So I really don't know about my body battery. We got 1 3/4" rain last night with thunder and lightning.Scooter was whining the whole time and following us every where we went in the house. It got down to 62 this morning and we were supposed to be a high of 70 but it's only 66 at 4:00 and still cloudy. We will only have a couple of more days of cool-ish weather.Highs will be in 80's for the next 2 days then go in the 90's for the weekend.Scooter likes that it's cooler but she won't stay out long because of the wind.It was raining hard enough to knock out the TV satellite for 20 minutes last night but I gladly missed the first part of NCIS for the badly needed rain.We aren't as cold as you.I think our low in the morning is predicted to be 52.

Pretty tree.
We are down to one drop in each eye three times a day! Phew. In three weeks he can get a prescription for readers if he wants. By then the eyes should stop fluctuating.
That N'or easter storm sounds nasty..everybody stay safe.
I have been out all day...museum job morning and Questers meeting. I cataloged the 100 year old iron window with bars from the old city jail!
