Saturday I plan on adding another good OP day under my belt. I'll start with a healthy breakfast and go from there. I already know what supper will be....chicken with rice and carrots...and lunch is normally a salad with beans or lo meat of some sort thrown in. I'm thinking either an omelet or oatmeal for breakfast. Probably the omelet
Also need to pick up more produce and Greek yogurt tomorrow.
Sleep well, all.

Its actually Friday evening 10PM my time. I left the house at 7AM this morning and just got home (to stay). Dr. did order PT and I start next Tues afternoon. After my appt, I went to Belk and made some returns and did a little fall shopping. Had a delicious lunch out then went and got my hair done. Ran home unloaded and put away groceries then went to the church. There's another bridal shower on Sunday for a church member and I volunteered to wash the "pretty little" dishes. Theyd not been used in several years so they needed it. While I was there I figured I'd get the bulletin printed and did a few other clerical tasks I needed to do. When that was all finished I went to my friends house and we drank a little wine while our hubby's deer hunted. Home now and feet is kicked up. Thank goodness I can sleep in tomorrow. Hope I get some sleep tonight=DD is out on a date with a guy she doesn't know really well but met thru a mutual friend. I'm sure I won't be able to sleep soundly until she arrives home. ON SATURDAY: I can relax at home a little and stay OP Got a cook out to go to for my uncle late Saturday afternoon. Ann, Omelette would be my choice I also love beans in a salad. My lunch out on Friday was a salad with chick peas, quinoa, and grilled Salmon with various vegs tossed in an oil and vinegarette dressing. It was so good. Bee, adding my arm hope you are feeling better Amyrs, you're doing so well op...keep it up!

Today I will:
* Think before I eat * Journal on paper and MFP * Record exchanges/power foods/ghgs * Hydrate * Walk 30 minutes
I want to keep the OP days going so that the scale will reward me. I am tired of sitting just above onederland, going higher a few days then getting close again. getting to the 190s is a barrier I hope to break SOON (in my mind I see it happening before Wednesday...<hint hint body>)
The demonstrators were fired on by one bodyguard - 2 dead and six injured. They marched on various diplomats' homes and govt offices and cut roads and though quieter last night are gearing up again to do more today. The Prime Minister has told his cabinet to accept the changes he has suggested and has set a 72 hour deadline for that to happen. No idea what will happen after that deadline is reached at 6pm Monday evening.
In the midst of THAT there are six Lebanese (2 men and 4 women) swimming against plastic. They started in Larnaca and are swimming in to Batroun, Lebanon. It is a relay race with a doctor, nurse, sailboat and motor boat (in case of emergency). Their effort will no doubt be eclipsed by the political situations.
SUSI: Hope you worked up a sweat at the gym! What kind of band does your cousin perform in?
ANN: The government/country has not had its act together in all of the forty + years I have been married... Did Carl get seated for jury duty? What fun to be even teasing about being your friend's flower girl You made me smile with Carl being the ring bearer.
BEE: I hope you lost your grump while losing the pizza poundage I made soup yesterday, too. I put in potato, carrots, onion, garlic, zucchini and some leftover red beans in tomato sauce. I whirred some in the blender so it was "creamy" but had some chunks. I have another serving for hubby and I for another meal today or tomorrow.
MJ: I keep wondering how your children would manage if you moved to a different country/state. I know everyone is capable of finding a way but...I do wonder sometimes. You are so busy it sounds like someone working in a train yard at the switches or in an air controller position trying to keep the planes from crashing! It sure will keep your mind spry!
PAM: I can see you smiling from here!
AUDREY: Yep...went to La Sierra College for 2 years before going for three years to nursing at Loma Linda. My sister was my roommate for a few months as she went to nursing school there, too. My father and brother went to medical school there. I was raised Seventy-Day Adventist (not any more) so am very aware of their diet and other teachings Have fun with your grandchildren this weekend!
BECKY: I hope you enjoyed the cooler weather while it lasted.
JUNE: Hope everything is okay with you and your husband. I have a feeling you are busy teaching and caring for him. Take time to care for yourself, too.
AMY: Hooray for fifteen pounds gone!
LADONNA: You had a BUSY day! It sounds like hunting season is upon you? How many weeks does it last and what animals will be hunted? My daughter said one of her friends has asked, in the past, to come shoot wild turkeys on her property. She has 80 acres abutting a national forest in Missouri.
Hubby is going to call around to find out if the roads to the nearby villages are open or not. If they are open he may go foraging for produce and perhaps some dry goods. I remember days we used to store water in the bathtub and have food for a month...just in case.

Good morning, Ann - Bee - Amy - LaDonna - Cathy - and AWF! Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer... 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 It's 38* outside and there's frost on the car windows. High will be 62* with light winds and no rain in the forecast. I've been up since 4:30 AM despite efforts to doze a bit more. Lists are made and there are only a couple of small things before GracieTOO gets packed for the YM Ball and my overnight at The Plantation. Toots has his own list; he's heading out this morning for The Plantation. I'll join him there after the YM Ball. I plan to attend my 8 AM WW workshop. We're having a substitute coach and the topic is about vegetable diversity ("eating the rainbow"). I don't think I've ever heard this particular coach in action. Might be interesting. As for all the YM bits... I got an e-mail from the Commander yesterday asking if I had a "schedule of events" for the party <!!!>. I was under the impression that the XO and one of the other adult leaders were doing that, but of course <ahem> I did have an idea of how things might flow effectively. So we spoke on the phone and I sent him an e-mail of a proposed timeline. We'll see what really happens, LOL. I'll get to The Plantation quite late (YM Ball ends at 8 PM). Tomorrow I'll work with MissMilla on her snow leopard costume bits until the parents get home. What needs to be done will all get done .Coffee... ☕☕☕... lots and LOTS of coffee... including a thermos to take to The Plantation... 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂 Have a healthy-eating day, all! 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂

Feeling better each day Bee we are ready to 'do this' together Arms are linked and locked and we'll smile as we choose healthy options. Great job, Amy. Always nice to have a well stocked freezer. Wow LaDonna, you surely are a busy bee. Happy PT was approved and hopefully it will work taking the pain away. Let us know how DD makes out on her date. Enjoy the shower. Cathy great goals for today. Praying that all will be well with the PM decision. Yes, Carl was chosen for grand jury. He needs to be available either every Friday or every other Friday for the next 3 months. He goes again this week. Good think he enjoys it. Glad you liked the ring bearer/flower girl story. That was the first thing that popped into my mind LOL. MJ hope your WW meeting is interesting. Enjoy another busy/hectic/full day. Susi hope you get that nap in. Is it tonight that you are going to hear the band? If so, enjoy. Waving to Pam Becky Audrey June and anyone I may have missed. Welcome, Amy! We are a fun group.
LaDonna, join us. Always room for one more. Will y'all get any of the rain from the tropical thing moving us the east coast that was here day before yesterday? Hope the PT works for you. How long will you have to go?
Cathy, I am still trying to think before I eat. Sometimes the fingers are faster at grabbing and the teeth at chewing than my mind is. LOL Great plan. Grumpy did not get to stay.
MJ, slow down ad take a few deep breaths. Hope the YM Ball works as y'all planned. Hope your workshop is a good one this morning.
Yes, Susi, I agree. I am always tired after reading MJ's posts. She needs to go back to work to get some rest. Make it a good one.
Hope AWF have a great day!

Cathy, sounds like troublesome times in your area. Its all so sad but inevitable. Prayers for your safety. Deer season is in right now and that is what my DH enjoys so. It came in Aug 15 and will go until Jan 1. He also likes turkey hunting which is the month of May here in SC. I so understand being so close to a number on the scale but yet so far...I would really like to lose about 20 more pounds but have been doing that up and down dance for about a year now. MJ, our high today is about the same. Two weeks ago it was 100 degrees and I had to turn on the heat last night. Nuts. Susi, hope you get your much needed rest. I was exhausted after yesterday but I slept in this morning..so feeling pretty good right now. Ann, so happy that each new day has you feeling better DD did not seem thrilled about her date last night which makes me sad. She is still pining over a guy she broke up with over two years ago. He has since married. Its a tough situation for her. Bee, yes supposed to be a rainy day all day today. We need it so. I've got PT twice weekly for six weeks. Dr. said if it seems to make it worse to stop going. I sure hope it will help. Waving to all who follow and wishing all of our group a fabulous day

Ann, thank you. I had a spinach egg/egg white scramble for breakfast and it was quite tasty. Becky, thanks and I hope you enjoy your meal out. They are ordering Pizzas for my Uncles birthday celebration this evening so I think I'll eat before I go since I'm trying to be good. Got my walk in this morning and will repeat that again tomorrow. It is a rainy day here in SC and it is much needed and welcomed. Love it Cool, too.

Ann - Have a great OP day. Either breakfast is a good start. You too Bee Welcome Amy and congratulations. LaDonna - Hope Laken can get over it by getting out there even if this wasn't the one. Perhaps you need to change something up to get rolling again? Glad you will be able to get the PT. It may open for physical opportunities which might help. Cathy - I hope things settle down soon. MJ - I had to laugh about your meeting. We covered more veggies than fruits at ours. Enjoy lunch out Becky. I went back to sleep around 8 and didn't get up until 10:30. I've gotten all my paperwork finished to move the office. I had a big pile to throw out (old manuals for appliances I don't even have any more) and a pile to take to shred. We'll meet up with the cousins around 5 for an early Mexican dinner. The band is light classic rock which is perfect since none of us are kids any more. LOL
