Welcome to the CLUTTERBUSTERS thread. We are a daily thread, Monday thru Friday, and we have a combined weekend edition Saturday and Sunday. We welcome new members and are a friendly, helpful and supportive group.
Our purpose is for support and sharing of tips and strategies in dealing with weight and clutter issues in our lives. Many feel that the two are often tied together. So, we will lend a caring ear, and hopefully give and learn tips to help all of us.
We want to remove at least 5 items or spend still least 15 minutes clutter busting today!
Remember, it didn't pile up in one day so it isn't going away in a day either. One organizer says: you don't have to stop everything to get organized, you just have to start somewhere.

Good morning,
Heading to work soon. Should be an interesting Saturday. There will be 4 of us working today. I think I’ll have the lot boy working with me up front, otherwise there will be too much noise coming out of back office. Not sure how the GM is going to feel if there is no work to do and 4 people not doing it. Oh well ...
Dottie- I hope Bill is still doing ok after yesterday. And I hope it makes him more careful. I see a lot of people walking with their eyes buried in their phone. Not a good thing when they get to an intersection.
I overdid it in the basement yesterday, woke up in the middle of the night with shoulder pain and couldn’t fall back asleep. Heating pad will be waiting for me when I get home from work.

Joyce, four people working this afternoon seems a little too much. Hope you don’t keep getting in every ones way. Hope your shoulder is feeling a little bit better. I like to ice when I have pain but Bill is a big fan of the heating pad.
Waving to Ruth, hope you had a safe trip to DDs.
I was surprised when we got up this morning and the back yard was still leaf free. Usually there are more leaves on the ground before we even get all the tools put away but there was no wind yesterday or last night so the leaves stayed on the trees. I do hope some more come down so we can get some more out to the curb before we leave for our trip. I have spent part of the morning getting clothes out for the trip, hope most of it fits in the suitcase. I even put a few tops in the donation pile while I was sorting clothes so the closet and drawers are looking better.

Ruth, glad to hear you made it safely to see DD#1 in Wisc. How was the visit to the twins new home? Sounds like they are doing okay being in a house together. Were they able to find a safe car for Kira? I hope that the doctors move quickly for the procedure for Stan since he has been in A-fib so much lately.
Joyce, I hope work went okay yesterday with all the extra help.
Bill is working on a plumbing problem. He hates plumbing but yesterday we discovered a leak under the kitchen sink. It is still small and probably been happening for a while. He is working on it and I am his “gofer” since he has so much trouble getting up and down. Hope he can get it fixed, if not we need to call a plumber. Once it warms up a little I plan on going out and working in the yard again for a few hours. I want to cut back some more of my perennials. One of the reasons we have enjoyed this house is the yard but it is definitely becoming too much work for us. Hope you both have a good day.

Good late evening all. We enjoyed seeing the house the girls and 1 boyfriend are renting. The girls have lived together since they moved out of their parents’ home. They get along pretty well. Owner of the house is putting in new furnaces and central air for both units. There’s is someone else who lives on the 2nd floor.
They are going car shopping for Kira again tomorrow also. They got the $$ for the old car, now she needs transportation for school. She graduates in 2 months and has been busy applying for jobs starting first of the year.
Yesterday afternoon DS/DIL/Mara were involved in a car accident. All are ok, but now they wait to see if car is totaled or if it will be fixed. Stan may have to go help get it towed tomorrow. Very stressful for DS. He doesn’t handle this stuff very well and he’s stressing about this on top of everything else. Will help as we can.
DS Carol went to the hospital tonight. She got the new feeding tube Friday, but because of a doctor’s error, she had to get 5 stitches w/o any numbing stuff!!! Ugh!!! She thought it was doing ok, but then it started leaking badly too. She hasn’t had any nutrition or fluids since late Thursday. Today she was really dizzy and she’s weak. Tonight she started bleeding a lot (I’m assuming from new feeding tube) and DBIL insisted she go to the ER. I tried to get her to go yesterday because I worry about the dehydration factor. I’m guessing they admitted her and put her on IV fluids tonight but only guessing since I haven’t heard anything yet. Prayers appreciated.
We picked up Mara on our way home from DD’s. Saved ourselves a trip. Gave them some time to do more of the house cleaning they are trying to do w/o her under foot. She crawled/fell out of her crib today so they are going to put her in a toddler bed. We have one downstairs that I was going to give them. But when we turned onto the street into our development from the highway, a house had a toddler bed, stroller, and kids’ rocker with a huge FREE sign. Destiny! Seemed like a good toddler bed; so I figured out how to fit it in our car. Stan is always amazed when I can do that. Good spacial skills. So will clean it up tomorrow and then get it to them Tuesday when we return Mara.
Got 1 load of our laundry finished. A neighbor came over to visit for a while. Will do 2 more of ours tomorrow and then start on all the bags of clothing that I brought home from DS’s the other day.
Have a great Monday all. I’ll check in tomorrow.
