Sunday I shall strive to hydrate plan track and move. I did stray a bit at the celebration of life ceremony for Sonny. Things happen I got in a few good walks which I hope will help me out. Sweet dreams.

Mexican happened. I had a plan but after all the appetizers on the table, I just skipped dinner. I'll still pay for a day or 2 but it was so worth it. There were 20 of us there. The program was nothing like what it sounded like. Yes there was some light rock but also a lot of what I would classify as rollicking gospel. They are a spinoff group from the New Jersey Choral Society so that shouldn't have been surprising. I have to be up in 6 hours to feed the ferals and then will head to spin. Likely a nap after that!

Demonstrations continue with roads blocked here and there in Lebanon. No idea when it will be resolved but am hoping by tomorrow night if/when the prime minister and his cabinet have a solution that the populace accepts, too. Time will tell. In the meantime all is well at the end of the country road I live on.
Saw the lowest weight this year. When one more pound is lost I will be just over the line into onederland...SO...
Today I will:
* think before I eat (plan) * journal on paper and MFP * walk 30 minutes * think positive
ANN: Thank you for starting us. Straying a bit at a celebration of life is entirely understandable! Glad your husband enjoys jury duty since it sounds like he will be warming a chair there most Fridays for awhile!
BECKY: Here's to flushing out the sodium from yesterday. There have been many dangerous times in my life...wars, demonstrations, evacuations...you name it. I think positive and take it one day at a time. Glad you enjoyed your lunch...interesting you take your own dressing...do you always carry it with you or only take it when you know you are going out? Bravo for finding winter deals to augment your wardrobe this year.
SUSI: Glad you managed a nap after the walk since you had a big night out with cousins to look forward to. Skipping dinner makes sense if the appetizers were sufficient (or more than sufficient). Some events/foods are worth the splurge. Hope you have a lovely Sunday!
BEE: I am with you for the OP day! I know what you mean when you say sometimes the fingers and teeth are faster than the mind thinking about what to eat...for me that is especially true on Wednesdays.
AMY: How was your WW meeting? Bee is correct...this IS a fun group!
LADONNA: You sound so busy! The country has been a mess for decades...perhaps centuries...it will be what it will be. As for the getting closer to that first goal...one pound should do it then the next goal after onederland should be easier as I believe 200 is one of my setpoints...then 180, 160 and 140 SO...those are my goals for the future...first one first, however. How was the date your daughter went on? When you mentioned the "pretty little dishes" I thought of the glass cup and glass dish with well for the cup mom used to have for "teas"... I guess they were actually called "snack sets" and were made in a variety of ways: china, glass, other. Now I want a set BUT when I would I use them except when women come to my house on a Wednesday?
MJ: I love your attitude of "what needs to get done will get done"...so true! It sounds like another busy day for you. How was the WW whatever they call it now? And, how was the YM ball?
PAM: Your posts are always positive and sound almost like affirmations. Here's to another OP day for you!
JUNE: SOOOO good to see your post! You are right that my body has setpoint weights. As mentioned above I think they are 200, 180, 160 and 140...20 pound increments SO I know what my goals are as I stay OP and hit each one in the future. It is good to hear how R is doing a month on from surgery. I am sure PT will help once he starts going. My BIL is finally doing better though he is still "off his feed" and has so far lost 20 pounds. He does not recommend it as a diet plan! He has retired the walker and now uses a cane or walking poles and has a follow up appointment in SF on the 29th of this month. So glad he and R are on the mend!
Okay...time to walk for another ten minutes (ten already done) then will do a bit more on the computer and think about making lunch. The thing with tabouleh is that the bulgur needs to soak in the lemon juice and juices from the tomatoes for about an hour so...we might be eating lunch late today!

Good morning
Been grading for an hour and R isasleep, so I am jumping online for a quick visit.
Ann Probably no better reminder of the wisdom of balance in most things than a celebration of life. . . You already have a great post-splurge plan in place to nudge the scale down.
Cathy Am comforted to know that your area is outside the area of unrest. Wahooooooo.... kudos for putting yourself in position to smash through that 1 lb. barrier.
Becky Solid plan for a on program Sunday.
Susi Thx for making me smile as I imagined a Mexican feast, a boisterous group of cousins, and "rollicking gospel." Hope you get a nice nap later in the day.
Waving "hi" to all who follow.

Sunday's goals Try to work in a bubble bath during which I linger.
Another up of tea and grading at least another 10 papers before R Awakens. I have to vacuum & mop today. Exterior waterproofing of 2 1/2 walls = project from hell= another financial worry= physical mess in our home.
Have to decide what "sidewise" issue in our lives besides R's recovery claims some of my spare attention today. Have a healthy, happy Sunday. Waving hi to all who follow & sending lots of love. Not likely to pop back in later.

Cathy forgot to say those plates are beautiful. That being said, I would not have any use for them Several of those pieces I remember my mom and gramma having at one point. They brought back memories Thank you.

I so enjoyed time spent with my Uncle yesterday. We got there around 5 and stayed until 11. My cousin and her husband were also there, another cousin, Laken and a friend of hers. We had a nice time. The boys pulled out the guitars but my uncle can't play anymore He did sing a couple of songs. We had lots of laughs and reminisced. Today I'll KOKO. I have the shower later this afternoon. Ann, I agree with Cathy, straying at the celebration for Sunny is understandable. Wonderful that you got another good night of rest..means so much. Becky I picked up a few fall items while out Friday also. The weather has really cooled down here and I'm so glad. Grilled chicken salad is so good. Great job taking your own dressing. Susi, sounds like the it was all worth it and you're so good with doing this thing called WW you will be just fine Cathy, yes! the dishes I washed were the small plates and cups for the punch. They'd be really nice for your Wednesday gathering if you wanted to fancy it up a bit Sending lots of MOJO for you to slide into onderland! Hang tough! June, great to hear from you...come by when you can. We'll continue lifting your family in prayer. Bee, you need some good homemade chicken soup...it works wonders for colds. Take care!

Bee feel better and enjoy your company LOL to Mexican food or Mexican @ Susi LaDonna so happy that you enjoyed spending time with your uncle and family at the bday party. Nothing like a family reunion to lift the spirits My mom and both her brothers were very musically inclined. I think back and enjoy all those memories we made......enjoy the shower. MJ glad you had a good day. I agree on posting with the kindle or a phone....just not the same. I'm all planned and tracked for the day. Just browned the meat for a pot roast. I love using the pressure cooker for things like this. I'll start it off in crock pot mode and go from there....... Waving and wishing all a wonderful Sunday.
